Consumer Complaint: I have been an customer of Coinbase.com for the past year. I wire transferred numerous times back into my bank account. In this most recent one on XXXX XXXX, 2017 at XXXX XXXX the funds of {$1000.00} never entered my bank account. I gave them a week and called Coinbase. They said that it went through, contact your bank. I contacted XXXX XXXX and they told me their wire transfer department does n't see the bank wire on their end, and to get them a federal reference number. I then contacted Coinbase again to ask them for the Federal reference number for my bank wire and they replied, " we have moved your issue to a specialist, and moved to top priority. '' Now a month later i called back for a fourth time regarding the disappearance of my money, and they hung up on me. Their company is so backed up with calls that when you call them it says to call again later. I have also reached out to them via email. I have no idea if they even got to my problem.

Consumer Complaint: So I was buying {$260.00} of Ethereum off the site " coinbase.com '' on XX/XX/17 and after doing so, it said my money was pending for 3 days however I can accelerate the process by adding my ID in which I went to do however, their automated system could not read my ID and their system automatically locked me out of my account. I then proceeded to send them an email and call them in which they replied with they have " escalated '' the support ticket however after reading online this seems to be something they say alot and there are people that have been waiting MONTHS for a reply.

Consumer Complaint: I am trying to make a transfer from a Bitcoin 'Vault ' to a Bitcoin Wallet. The transaction is not allowed to go through, as it says there is another transaction in progress. The problem is that it is impossible to be any other transaction in progress. Any 'Vault ' transaction should automatically cancel after 48 hours ( as per their security rules ). The last time I made a transaction was in XX/XX/XXXX ( now XX/XX/XXXX ), hence, should be nothing currently in progress. I have contacted support, several times, and since XX/XX/XXXX they have stopped responding to my messages. The problem still continues ( XX/XX/XXXX ).

Consumer Complaint: I had opened a Coinbase account in 2015, when I was residing in the US and stopped using it that same year. My email account used for login and 2 step verification was deleted, so I lost access to my Coinbase account. When I first contacted Coinbase to recover my account based on my personal information, they sent me an automatic message saying that they were having a heavy load of issues to solve, and giving me a list of links to try to solve my problem. The only way for me to recover my account at this time is by contacting an actual customer service agent, who will look at the new account I created, and the documents I submitted for ID verification, and to link both of those accounts so I can recover my bitcoins. I have been contacting them every other day for more than 3 months and got absolutely no answer from an actual person. I need these Bitcoins back. This is my money we are talking about, not some joke. I would appreciate some help, if possible.

Consumer Complaint: Regarding case # XXXX Hi, on XX/XX/XXXX I have transferred an amount to Coinbase. After several days this amount still was n't processed. I have contacted them through their customer support. The reply I got was that the name/account did n't correspond with their account details and thus, the money was supposedly returned to my bank account. After a week the money still was n't returned and I started to send messages to follow up this matter. A very late response ( after a week ), they needed my details to investigate the matter. Each reply I got from Coinbase it took several days. I almost immediate responded, but then the response kept being longer and longer. The attachment I enclosed is the proof. It 's been almost 2 months now and the money still have n't returned. Their last reply was from 2 weeks ago. this casenumber XXXX as stated above is from Coinbase itself. There they find ALL the details of the transaction. I ca n't imagine any professional company that holds onto other people 's money for such a long time.

Consumer Complaint: I have an account with CoinBase ( www.coinbase.com ) and tried to withdraw funds to close the account on XX/XX/XXXX. I was informed by Coinbase that funds would be in my account by Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX. No funds arrived so I created a trouble ticket ( ticket ref : XXXX ) with them on XX/XX/XXXX. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and I have received zero response to that trouble ticket and to further attempts at contacting Coinbase. They have published a telephone number for support but after 45 minutes my call had not been answered so I gave up. I am seeing many posts online where people trying to withdraw funds from Coinbase are seeing many MONTHS delay in getting payment and I am trying to avoid it happening here.

Consumer Complaint: Several month ago I was referred to Coinbase.com by a coworker. I signed up and deposited funds from my credit card. Months pasted and I need to withdrawal my funds to pay bills. I found out at that point that I could not move my funds into a bank account because I 'm XXXX. There were many like me who were shocked and frustrated that this information was NEVER share by Coinbase.com with its XXXX customers. So infact they knew and never told us. Here is the even more pressing issue, on XXXX XXXX I decided to transfer my bitcoin and ether to a XXXX exchange which would allow me then to transfer the funds in my XXXX bank account and pay some bills. I was able to do what I needed to do with the ether but the XXXX not so much. I somehow moved the funds from my wallet to my vault and then realized I had to move it back to my wallet so I could transfer it out to the XXXX exchange. Again on XXXX XXXX this occurred and it said that their will be a XXXX approval period. Today its XXXX XXXX - that is XXXX business, so 15 days past the XXXX approval period. I contacted Coinbase.com to let them know the issue and for XXXX messages I sent I would get an auto response not even addressing the issue. What is most troubling is that my XXXX is nowhere it seems since XXXX XXXX, when I moved it from my wallet to the vault by mistake and then tried to move it back to the wallet, I noticed there was no balance anymore in my vault or wallet. Then I finally got someone who said they are working with a specialist to fix the issue and that was over 10 days ago and I never heard back from them and you ca n't respond to their email you have to submit a request and let me tell you they try to keep you from doing that as well. I have never experienced anything like this where everyday I contact them and get knowhere. I am about to miss a car payment that will effect my credit and this should and could have been avoided weeks ago. I have no faith that Coinbase.com will fix this in time for me, its been over XXXX weeks. An important fact to is that the value of bitcoin has dropped significantly since XXXX XXXX and I feel helpless to get access to my money. This is so far from being right and I 'm unsure what the FCC really does to prevent crooks like this from hurting alot of people. Even if this get rectified, I will still miss my payment, continue to be stressed over something that could have been dealt with properly. They clearly do n't care at all and these types of people make one loose faith in humanity not to mention the so called authorities that are supposed to govern or ensure no wrong doing. Not sure what is going on this planet but the level of greed is only growing and seems nobody really cares. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: I can not access my coinbase account. www.coinbase.com will not let me log in. That account uses email address XXXXXXXXXXXX I created my account around XXXX 2017, was able to access it, deposited some funds, and purchased some Ethereum. About XXXX I lost the ability to access my account. I log in with my account email and password, both are accepted. Most of the time they request a confirmation code via the phone application Authenticator. Most of the time I do not get that notice. Their help pages are of no help what-so-ever. They do not provide any reasonable method of contact. I have been trading emails with XXXX who claims to be from Coinbase for 20 days now via an account at XXXX. Her responses are very slow and do not address the problem. On my last attempt to log in I got the Authenticator notice, entered the number, it was accepted, but the web site said I have a difference computer and they need to verify it. They said so check my email. I received an email about how I can buy more currency but nothing what so ever about verifying my account.
