Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, 2022 I ordered sandals XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, owned by XXXX ; by mistake I ordered another pair. They were advertised on their web page to be priced at {$72.00} less a discount of {$29.00} for a final cost of {$45.00} including {$2.00} tax. When they arrived it was shown that I was being charged a total of {$61.00} for each pair. I felt this to be a " show & switch '' & neither did I care for the sandals. I immediately requested a prepaid return label and XXXX sent me two XXXX prepaid labels. # XXXX was for order # XXXXXXXX XXXX tracking # XXXX XXXX XXXX dated XXXX XXXX # XXXX was for order # XXXXXXXX XXXX tracking # XXXX XXXX XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX. The charges were made on my Citi XXXX, XXXX XXXX # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX contends that I sent back only one of the pairs of sandals.This has been " back and forth '' between me and Citi Card since XXXX. I have sent them documentation copies of the return labels and receipts from XXXX. I sent them once by certified mail and again by regular mail. I have requested that either or both Citi Card and XXXX use the tracking numbers that I sent them to further verify my return of both pairs.Citi Card as a final outcome have stated there is nothing further that they can do and have only credited my account with the one {$61.00} charge.

Consumer Complaint: I had opened Checking and Savings account on XXXX night. I initiated ACH transfer from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account to fund my new accounts. Checking Account - XXXX funded with {$25000.00} XXXX Account - XXXX funded with {$25.00} However Very next day Citibank locked my account suspecting some fraudulent activity. Though Citibank locked my account still my ACH transaction to fund new account went through on XXXX. Then on XXXX Citibank closed my both account but didn't refund me any balance in my accounts even though 60 days passed. I had to spend hours on Citibank call center without any help. Finally I raised case with CFPB ( case number - XXXX ) and Citibank refunded me my Checking Account balance {$25000.00} after 90 days. Also they didn't provide any explanation on, 1. Why Citibank didn't reject fund transfer to locked account? & 2. Why it took Citibank more than 60 days to refund funds from closed account? However Citibank still didn't refund me the Savings Account balance- {$25.00}.

Consumer Complaint: - I opened a Citi Gold Checking account with Citibank online on XX/XX/2022. - I deposited {$55000.00} via Citi plaid integration via an ACH from my XXXX Savings account on XX/XX/2022. - I deposited {$25000.00} via the Citi plaid integration via an ACH from my XXXX Checking account on XX/XX/2022. - On XX/XX/2022 my access was cut from the online Citi Gold portal. - On XX/XX/2022 I received a letter dated XX/XX/2022 that " We periodically review customer accounts to assess the suitability of their banking relationship with Citibank. Pursuant to a recent review, it has been determined that we can no longer service your account ending - xxxx and your other Citibank accounts .... and will be closed within XXXX days from the date of this letter... If there are funds the belong to you at the time of closure, Citibank will issue you an official check for that balance to the address on file. '' - As of XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX there was a balance of {$64000.00} in the account. Attempts to contact Citibank : - XX/XX/XXXX I contacted to inquire about my lack of access. I was read a script that my account was closed and that I would be sent a letter. - XX/XX/XXXX I contacted to inquire about the closure process, I was passed around, and hung up on. - Approximately XXXX times between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX I attempted to make contact. - I was able to finally make contact with the CitiGold advisor that I had been assigned, XXXX XXXX XXXX from the XXXX XXXX office. He informed me that yes my account had been closed and that a check would be cut and my funds would be returned to me within the next 30 days ( est. end XXXX ). - On XX/XX/XXXX ( 60 days following the date of the letter ) I had not recieved funds and contacted Citibank. I was able to speak with another CitiGold advisor in the XXXX XXXX office, XXXX, who was able to look into the matter. - On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with XXXX again - he indicated he had been attempting to get information regarding the status of the funds and confirmed that Citibank did have {$64000.00} of my funds custodied but that there was no resolution for reimbursement noted on the account- he had stated he assumed that meant they would be refunded via the original funding mechanism. - On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with XXXX again and he said he did not have an update and that he was working to get an update.

Consumer Complaint: I received a second notice from XXXX stating an account was sold to them XX/XX/2022 and the new owner is XXXX XXXX XXXX I previously sent a letter requesting validation of the alleged debt which : According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), you are required by federal law to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract on all accounts and they did no such thing I am now receiving harassing mail and email I requested them to cease and desist ALL communication from me! and they have violated my request. First and foremost, it is illegal for a collection agency to buy up a debt and assume that the debt is yours without a consumers written consent. YOU have failed to validate the alleged debt which you are in violation of my rights per the FCRA for falsely reporting unvalidated information on my credit file. I am requesting a COPY of the alleged original consumer contract SIGNED by me unless you can provide the requested documentation you are violating my rights as a consumer. A statement is not a debt validation you are in validation of my consumer rights. Pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, STOP communicating with me regarding the above-referenced accounts.

Both times they confirmed auto-pay was in place. On XXXX I paid Citicard in full for {$130.00} On XXXX Citicard reported me {$130.00} delinquent dropping my credit score XXXX points. I have tried many ways to request they remove it from all credit bureaus. They have refused to do so. I have been denied credit because of this at least 6 times for new credit cards or debt consolidation or personal loans.

I do not give anyone permission to use my name, date of birth, or any other personal information since it violates Data Privacy. Consumer Complaint: The order was placed on XX/XX/22 and canceled the same or the next day. The pending charge according to the Citi credit card service can't come off and will be on my CC for 30 days. I am to make a payment for a big order next week so that I could take advantage of the promotion advertised for that upcoming purchase. The manager from XXXX, the merchant submitted the release of the pending charge three times in vain- the Citi credit card refuses to release the pending charge which is about 20 % of the credit line I was approved for. The potential solution to increase the credit card limit is not available either. They also refused my request to increase my credit card limit for reasons unclear to me. My current credit card limit is 1.4 % of my individual income and 1.1 % of my household income.

Consumer Complaint: Citibank decided to close my checking account. And they won't say why. That I don't care about so much. Each bank has it's risk department and that is fine. What I do have a problem with is they are saying the funds in the account are not mine. Which is not true. That money was transferred from MY XXXX XXXX account into the Citibank account. So the fact they are trying to keep the money means they are trying to steal from me. It was a very simple ACH transfer from MY account at XXXX XXXX to My account at Citibank. I would like this dealt with asap as I'm trying to start a business and literally every dollar matters. I don't have {$170.00} to just give to Citibank. And they won't provide any account documentation. They offered no appeal process. And I'm pretty sure the phone rep called me a XXXX. So also XXXX. I want this dealt with immediately and I want my money back plus interest. This is very quickly going to turn into a lawsuit if not dealt with properly.
