Consumer Complaint: On the XXXX of XX/XX/2022, I had a call from Costco CITI Credit Card Customer Service harassing me and my wife that they are closing our personal business bank and switched us to our Business Name to one account. My wife and I had two CITI Costco Credit Cards with my name and her name, and we have been using the business cards to purchase items for our business for years. Unfortunately, My wife was next to me when I explained to the customer service representative for Costco CITI Credit Card Customer Service that our account is closed due to non-payments, and I tried to explain to them why it is closed when they are taking out money from our bank accounts! The customer service representatives for Costco CITI were very persecution and unprofessional verbally harassing us for payments over the phone when we tried to explain to the customer service representative that why they closed out our personal business account, took our names off the credit card and instead they out our business name in one card. Unfortunately, the customer service was verbally ill-mannered and disregard my questions and demand my wife and I to pay up front and told both of us that we no longer have our names in our business card but our business name instead. I tried to explain that why didnt they follow up on us for months when we tried to explain to the customer service that they take out money out of our bank account for months and now they told us they are closing our account for no reason. I immediately filed a complaint through the Federal trade Commission, The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to investigate that they are doing us wrong as business owners here in XXXX Ak. I am a XXXX XXXX Veteran with a XXXX XXXX that my wife and I hold ; and a Business Owner that my wife and I hold our position running a business for 7 years. Also, a landlord that we own a couple of properties to have our tenants rent our properties. I am also a XXXX XXXX XXXX under the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. We believe that we have been harassed by Costco CITI customer service and they should retrain their customer service skills and the CITI Credit Card Service should be investigated for doing us wrong.

I received a letter from Citibank denying the consumer transaction. This letter was a false and misleading denial of my credit. At this time I am requesting a listing of all the factors that were involved in this consumer transaction. Under 15 USC 1611 this was a criminal liability for a willful and knowing violation of my consumer transaction rights. I would like the underwriter to address this matter in an expedient manner.

Consumer Complaint: I contacted Citibank on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX to be able to access my funds because I deposited funds into the Citi account when opened and more through XXXX, but it would not let me send money via XXXX, wire transfer, instant transfer or even withdraw via ATM or even use my debit card. I contact Citi and I could not even access my account with a representative because they could not verify me, even though I provided my social security number, address, phone number, card number and account number, then they told me they could not verify me and hung up on me without any notice, so I can't withdraw or spend my money and can't speak to a rep to find out why. There is no Citi brank in my state so I have nowhere else to go or contact to figure out why I can't access my XXXX dollars on my account. When i tried to do anything through the app, I kept getting access blocked, and to reach out to customer service, but i reach out to customer service and they can't verify me and hang up the call, so I have no further avenue to figure out the issue or access my funds. I even called to close my account and have them mail the check for the funds to my address on file and THEY TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT CLOSE IT BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT VERIFY ME AND HUNG UP AGAIN. so I have nothing left to do to be able to get my funds back. Citi bank is a scam and they want to keep peoples money. I WANT CITIBANK TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT AND ISSUE ME AN EXPEDITED CHECK AND I WANT NOTHING FURTHER TO DO WITH THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY AFTER THEY RETURN TO ME ALL MY FUNDS.

Consumer Complaint: Purchased new windows from XXXX XXXX ( Delaware ). Following installation on XX/XX/XXXX, the {$12000.00} remaining payment was charged to my XXXX XXXX credit card. It was previously arranged that the {$12000.00} be charged to my Home Depot credit card, giving me 24 months to pay with no interest charged. Have tried for 9 days to rectify the situation. Have had numerous phone calls to XXXX XXXX customer service to no avail. Have been forwarded to one office and then another then hang ups. This situation is totally the fault of XXXX XXXX. Yet, they take no responsibility. This transaction did not occur in a store but instead online. I have no store to complain to. In conclusion, I want the {$1200.00} charge OFF my XXXX XXXX and onto my XXXX XXXX credit where it is supposed to be. Incidentally, I never gave approval to XXXX XXXX to charge my XXXX card!

Consumer Complaint: Citibank has stolen $ XXXX from me! I can't believe this is happening to me. I will start from the very beginning : I opened up checking account on XX/XX/22 with. XXXX XXXX XXXX explaining to him that will be receiving wire transfers from XXXX. explaining how much i would be receiving and how many there would be he said thats fine there will be no problem he will set the account up and noted in the system. I then made a deposit for XXXX Same day as I open the account. My friend did the transfer for the amount of XX/XX/22 {$25000.00} usd. Was wire transferred from Her account. AUD {$35000.00} went through it was in the account it was clear my account was good. The next wire transfer that was sent from her was on XX/XX/22 USD. In the amount {$18000.00} Again going into my account from the same person. international AUD. {$24000.00} I cleared into my account everything was good on both ends accounts was fine. This is when the problem begin. XX/XX/22 next wire transfer was sent from the same person for XXXX again because of the exchange rate and its AUD. For her it was XXXX followed with Another transaction from her for {$4500.00} USD. AUD XXXX. For her. It showed up that it was all clear in the accounts. A week latter I went to the the branch asked to withdraw XXXX from my checking account. they said my amount is frozen due to fraudulent activity. They said they can not talk to me i need call up The fraud department and they gave me the number to call. They can not do anything. I was so upset. After hours in the bank. Now hours on the phone. Then I was told on the phone it was fixed the account I can use my account its not frozen any more. they say they fixed it is ok to charge my card and use it. The block is now off the account. Not true. I have spent hours and hours on hold with citi bank, and transferred around with different people because nobody has any idea what they are talking about.. Nobody could tell me why my account was flagged for " fraudulent activity ''. I finally got to talk to someone who gave me some information. He said there closing my account and they would be mailing a check out to me 30 to 60 business days never received a check. He didn't tell me the reason it was being flagged, I asked why cant I just pick up the check from the branch why do I neeed to wait I want my funds. You need to wait for the check 30 to 60 days I then hang up go in to the branch THIS IS WHERE IT GETS CRAZY. My money has been transferred to the federal back office at citibank investigating it. they do not have a number and they did not contact me the fraud department at Citibank that the money is going to be held. My money isn't even with citibank anymore, it is with the federal government. They locked me out of the account. Cant see anything. Nobody has contacted me to get more information, or proof that it is my money. Nobody has investigated. They just decided that's not her money ''. And gave it to the mother f*cking government. Or they stalled it and blamed it on the government. I spoke to my financial advisor and he told me. I got in to a vary bad accident I needed emergency XXXX. By back its was broken emergency XXXX has to take place I need XXXX titanium rods and XXXX screws. My all my Insurance did not get paid because they Close my account with all my money. They destroyed my life. Credit is destroyed my bills over the top. its a real nightmare 7 months now. Since XXXX now XXXX She called the bank told them to transfer back all the money. To me or her. if theyre will not return it to me. My friends AUD bank branch has contacted them through email several times. Letting them know that its my money to release it to me. They lie and say 100 different stories. Please help me I cant afford this and I do not deserve this. I want my money it belongs to me XXXX Citibank needs to be held accountable. This is not legal.

Consumer Complaint: Attn : XXXX of the XXXX - Citicards I took advantage of a promotional offer from Citi to use a cash advance at a low introductory rate, which included a balance transfer fee. Prior to that, I hardly carried any balances on my card or any other credit cards. I received offers for a balance transfer rate through Citi bank with the the payment of a transaction fee. Given the promotion and understanding that a low interest rate payable over months was a viable option when I became the victim of credit fraud ( XXXX XXXX XXXX Department XXXX # XXXX ), I took the offer, thereby utilizing my credit lines with Citi. It was then surprising to notice that my credit line was being reduced because I had over extended my credit and that my payments were low on the account. Having paid the transaction fee, I purposefully didn't see an incentive to pay off the balance each month since the offer extended through later in 2022. I am requesting Citi to reinstate my credit lines to the levels they were at since this reduction will cause lenders to think I am credit risk, for which I am not. Alternatively, they misrepresented their advertising. if they are unwilling to re-instate, then they should credit back the cash advance fees and I will pay off the balances in full. They can not have their cake and eat it, as their promotions ( attached ) is the reason I took the advance, understanding the time value of money..

Consumer Complaint: Hello : My husband and I each have a Sears Master Card with my husband as the primary. We are having issues making payments and are being charged a late fee when they will not accept the payment or have made it impossible to pay online. I have called over 10 times to recitfy this. I am unable to use my actual working card to set-up an online account. It says we do not have a card with Sears and obviously we do. They have sent us new cards previously due to this, we have asked the customer service person to set up Auto Pay and while they say they have done so, it never comes out the next month and I receive a note my bill has not been paid. When I call the wait times are so outrageous -- over an hour -- to receive a customer service rep that has difficulty understanding what I am asking due to language barriers and my requests are never implemented even though I am told that they have been completed. While trying to make a payment online, today even, my card is still not registered in their system. I have filled out legal paperwork to be able to pay the bill, even though I have a card in my name, and they refuse to take my payment over the phone as it is " not in my name ''. I am repeatedly charged a late fee. This has been going on for over a year now. I am at a loss as to proceed and do not feel it is fair nor reputable to not take a payment and charge a late fee, and for a company not to be able to assist a customer register an active credit card to pay online. I am in need of assistance. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: On the Citibank account it was closed by creditor in XX/XX/XXXX and the creditor was still reporting on time in XX/XX/XXXX then starting reporting late payments after that. This account should not have been still reporting anything after the account was closed by creditor. Some months it was reporting inaccurate and misleading information. On XXXX it was reporting 30 days late and on XXXX and XXXX on time in the same month of XXXX. Please have this account removed from all 3 of my credit reports as this account is falsely reporting inaccuracies.
