Consumer Complaint: i made a claim with Citibank according to some fraud charges, this charge was made same location as the one being appeal and previously opened a claim with you guys here a Finacial Protection Bureau, they did open an appeal to re investigate the case on that end, but for some reason one of the charges made to my account was now taken back again from Citibank stating they found no error this transaction was made the same as the other one stated on the previous claim, don't know why Citi banks returning these funds and making my account negative, the transaction was on the same date as the one previously claimed it was made on XXXX XXXX for amount XXXX XXXX it was previously giving to me as a temporary credit but now has been token away making my account negative, in the appeal this also should be added because all other charges made in that city of Las Vegas were all returned to me and were finalized but for some reason this one isn't, don't make sense there were all made same location, and Citibank is failing to do a proper investigation and return me my stolen monies. However started to charge interest for every purchase you make with no regards to billing cycle and payments I make. For example if the card charged XXXX dollars XXXX XXXX they will put 23 % for the amount on the date it was charged even when I am paying it off by the end of the month like I always paid this credit card. They claimed that in order for me to get back my end of month Grace period I have to pay the entire XXXX XXXX back even when they took XXXX fees upfront for XXXX interest until 2023. No other credit charges interest for purchases which were paid within the billing cycle.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for the Citi XXXX XXXX XXXX Credit Card on XX/XX/2022. I received a denial of credit letter from Citi stating why I was denied. As stated in the letter dated XX/XX/2022, their decision was based on information they received from a customer reporting agency. It is my comprehension of Regulation Z and Title 15 USC Sub-chapter 41 I thru VI, more specifically, Title 15 USC 1691a that any application that is denied for any reason is discrimination. I filled out the application in good faith as an applicant and an extender of credit. I also comprehend this extension of credit in the form of a card which would be used primarily for consumer credit transactions for personal, family, and household purposes. It is also stated in 12 CFR 411 that all debt including all taxes, customs and pulbic debt is the obligation of the United States. Accordingly, 12 USC 1026.2 ( 15 ) ( i ) states any card is a credit card. During the process of filling out the application, I provided my Social Security number from my Social Security Card. If I provided this number, why was I denied? When I provide other card numbers, debt gets paid. Using this logic, I must have prepaid for this credit card when I provided my Social Security number. So, why was I denied? I believe this information to be true and factual to the best of my knowledge and belief, however, and most importantly, because Congress says so.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I went into my checking account and it didnt look good at all as I looked at it. So I called the bank and asked for the Fraud Dept. At that time the lady went over it with me and said that there was a check put in there, I said what check cause I dont use checks. Only thing that goes in my account is deposit or I put cash in there. I think this was the second time that fraud had to deal with my account. This time it was bad. the lady was rude and told me not to call again. Then I hung up and called back and talked to a supervisor. I knew it was going they were going to give me a hard time. First they blocked my account and closed. Now my retirement check from Dept of Treasury was coming on XX/XX/XXXX and that my account being closed they were suppose to return the check to the Dept of Treasury, no the didnt they keep it. I called all week long, the Citibank and the US Treasury Dept. Citibank said they returned it and Dept of Treasury said they havent received it. On XX/XX/XXXX I called Citibank and asked was my check there and FINALLY they told me the truth it had been sitting there all week the lady said. Citibank has had my check since then. my check was {$1800.00} and I called yesterday it is now {$1200.00} because of bills?? What bills $ $ $ $ I have small bills like XXXX and things like that I dont have big bills running through the bank, I pay by phone. So on the XXXX I asked for copies of everything that they call themself paying because Citibank is a bank full of lies and jokes and they have cost me for my bills to be late and unpayed. So now 60 days is up on the XX/XX/XXXX and they are working on geting it close and i have to wait another 10 days to get my check.. WRONG ANSWER. By the Government rules you have 15 days to return a government check and Citibank has not done that. and still have had my check for 55 days and I have suffer for 55 days without meds and food and gas for my car that I might lose because of them. I am not finish by far with this my next stop is the Attorney General office.
