Consumer Complaint: I want to spread the word about American Express Serve they are suspending accounts or closing them when our stimulus and tax returns hit the account preventing us to have no access to our funds. I can't even login into my account to access my {$4300.00}. I get my XXXX, work pay, tax return and stimulus on this account and no way of accessing my money. As soon as my stimulus hit my account they suspended my account. I called and a representative told me there was nothing they can do and hung up on me. I called back and was on hold for an hour only to get the same scripted message there was nothing they could do and I should write a letter to a GA po box requesting for my funds to be sent in a check and even then it is not guaranteed that it will be approved. I been using them for over 10 years and never experienced this. I have no money for diapers, tissue food. I have to find another bank for my payroll. I am not the only one who is going through this. Attached to this email is a list of people in a American express Serve XXXX who are going through the same thing im going through. I can't even hire an attorney because they have all my money. The word has to spread that these people are crooks. I did a complaint with XXXX and it looks like every since the first stimulus they've been doing this and having complaints about them stealing people money by closing their accounts. Please help spread this word people are suffering and need this money.

Given Covid we were unable to travel and due to merchant unresponsiveness filed a merchant dispute with American Express. Full amount was credited back to my account in XX/XX/2020 and was told to consider the settlement final within 69 days. Now, 6 months later American Express billed me back {$1900.00} after the matter was considered final by me and the merchant. Please help. American Express is not responding to this merchant dispute issue

Consumer Complaint: Ive had American Express serve for years for me and my wife, the account was solely in my name. Well on Thursday XX/XX/XXXX i attempted to use my card at the Funeral parlor to purchase keepsake urns for my wifes family, My wife passed away XX/XX/XXXX at the age of XXXX. Well i called the number on the back of the card only to be told my account was locked, ( Wont give me a reason ) Wont give me my money, and is telling me in order to get an answer i have to MAIL a letter to Serve Customer Care. I got NO notice of it closing, they haven't sent me ANYTHING saying why, no email, text letter nothing. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, GA XXXX Ive called 5 times because i was in aww that they can take my money, close my account and tell me to MAIL someone, seems odd if you ask me. I spoke to a supervisor named XXXX employee ID # XXXX. He told me the same thing and will not help. Friday XX/XX/XXXX i typed up a letter and sent it priority mail with tracking, i also have notified my local Attorney Generals office for help, emailed a local news source and filed a complaint with the XXXX. Everything i do is linked to that account, Stimulus, unemployment, taxes, bills. They left me in a bad spot at a bad time in my life when my wife passed away. This is not fair for an institution this big to just do what they are doing to me. Please help me. Thank you XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: American Express sent me a bunch of marketing at my addresses and emails following my submission for Opt-Out and Do not Market. I filed a complaint in the past with the CFPB and received more marketing. I requested that American Express make amends by offering credit terms or restitution. American Express has not reached out to approve the Gold Card for Business, which is great for traveling. The company has also not made right on the violations of the rules and laws. I am requesting a reinvestigation and want to know why American Express was allowed to violate rules. I am also asking for American Express to increase my credit limit and reissue my credit card. I don't feel that it was ok, that they violated the law more than once, even after i filed a complaint. I am asking that the company approves my request to re-issue my credit card and increase my credit limit.

Consumer Complaint: I recieved an email at XXXX today from bluebird Amex that I violated terms and my account was permanently suspended I have money on that card and a {$7000.00} give or take tax refund being sent if it hasnt already reached my account. Ive been hung up on and cant get any answer out of them. Ive gone over the terms and I havent violated them. I havent even used the card. Their wevsite was down and I tried logging in unknowledged that the website was down and then recieved this email. I want my money back theres almost {$8000.00} on that card and soon will be another {$2800.00} in stimulus that Ill never receive.
