Consumer Complaint: I set up a car payment with Ally auto for XXXX XXXX, 2015. I then decided to reschedule that payment for XXXX XXXX to wait for my payday. I went back into my account and saw that I still had the option to cancel the payment, so I did. The payment said it was cancelled on my end. I then proceeded to set up a new payment to come out on my payday. On XXXX XXXX, ally auto deducted {$410.00} from my bank account, and then deducted another {$410.00} from my bank account on XXXX XXXX. I called both the bank and the auto finance company to explain the situation, that I was double charged, and set up a dispute. My dispute was denied.

The lease was paid off in late XX/XX/XXXX but the dealership never sent Ally Auto Financing a check due to a termination of an employee or something like that. I was on the phone with an executive account manager from Ally from Florida for a week. Finally the dealership sent her the check and the account was alleged to be paid in full. When I log on to my old Ally account in fact there is nothing there -- -. But. A recent check with XXXX XXXX shows that I still have an account with Ally for $ XXXX. XXXX?

Consumer Complaint: Besides the HORRIBLE customer service. I was lied to. I spoke with a rep from Ally on XXXX who took a payment from me in the amount of {$740.00}. She informed me that the amount would cover my past due amount for XXXX XXXX payment along with the late fees assessed in the account. Since she could not take the payment via her system for a future dated payment, she informed me that I would need to go online to schedule the payment for the XXXX and provide her with the confirmation number. I did. I also doubled checked to make sure that this amount that was being paid was going to bring my account completely current along with no more late fees. She said YES. She said you will be completely current however I would be due for XXXX payment just in a few days on XXXX. She asked about hat payment and I advised her that I would be able to make it at the end of this month. She told me that as long as I paid by the end of the month, that I will be ok and not accessed a late fee. I receive a collections call on XXXX stating that I am past due a payment for XXXX and that my late fees were over {$500.00}. I did n't understand why I even still had late fees after I made the payment of {$740.00}. She explained to me that the payment posted to my principle balance and not to any of the late fees. I told her that had to be a mistake bc the rep told me AND online told me that my payment with late fees was {$740.00}. She told me that she was going to open up a research request and that someone would call me within 24-48 hours. No one ever called. So today, XXXX I called back to get a status update and the young lady told me that the research had been done and that there was no extra payment made. My payments are {$470.00} every month. She then went to tell me that the remaining was applied to my returned payments from XXXX and XXXX!? Although those payments were returned, they were made up! I made the payments for the month of XXXX and XXXX! Something is n't adding up. Ally could n't verbally explain to me what was going on so they just indicated to me they will send me a copy of the billing history. I do n't need a copy, I have my own via bank statements! All in all, I was lied to and mislead to believe that my payment was being made to cover my XXXX payment plus late fees from the rep and online. The reasoning they are giving does n't sound right! I feel like they are just telling me something and its really challenging my intelligence. Please take a look into this ... anything that is needed I will provide.

Consumer Complaint: There was an auto loan where the payments got behind after the loss of income, and the finance company Ally ( XXXX XXXX ) was to close the account refelecting the bankruptcy. However, they are still trying to collect illegally from me by reporting an active and open account with the creddit bureau. Everytime I disputed this issue they came back and stated the account is open and has a balance, but will not report the facts that it was chaged off and closed. In addition, they reported to the federal courts that they would be removing the accont from its portfolio and pipeline where the informationwould not harm me from restablishing my credit. I currently, have XXXX auto loans with XXXX and are aid ontie, and because of the fraudulent reporting it reflects that i have XXXX auto loans which is not factual. Ally has a group of people such as XXXX, and another person who do not understand request to speak to managers and supervisors i was transferred from XXXX to XXXX where the experience was very horrible and this group is a recovery team when theres nothing to recover. I am seeking relief and support from the company, also restitution for the improper reporting which has prevented the movement of federal clearance. The account is charged off, and vehicle was sold less than the requested reaffirmation agreement that was submitted to Ally by me to have a supporting repayment pan, they paid an attorney XXXX to keep me from paying the restructed affirmation plan as it was requested.

Consumer Complaint: On or about XXXX XXXX, 2015. Ally Finance repossessed my truck at XXXX days late payment and charged me XXXX payments and tow fees prior to my loan being XXXX days late. They refused to give me any paper work pertaining to the repossession or explain their policy. The contract is not clear as to a time limit for bring late on payments that will push you in to default status. Ally then failed to see my property was returned to me once I payed the money owed and fees. The company they sent to recover the truck was overly aggressive and scared my family as my family felt they were more the victims of a home invasion. The recovery company pulled excessively hard on my front screen door and brutally beat on it. Then proceeded to yell at me in an obvious attempt to incite a negative response and incite may-ham. I had to tell XXXX the owner of the recovery company XXXX '' I can hear you stop yelling all over the neighborhood ''. After paying the requested amount of money to Ally. I was not able to recover my truck and was made to wait while the recovery company owner repeatedly lied about getting the release letter for my property. I was unable to recover my property from them until or about XXXX XXXX, 2015

Consumer Complaint: I called Ally Financial multiple times during XXXX XXXX and XXXX to discuss my account and the impacts of being near XXXX days delinquent. I went online to make a payment, and submitted on XXXX XXXX, so I would not have my credit hurt. Upon going online I found Ally offered no disclosures about payments made on the weekend. Speaking with an agent she noted my account to which I received a call on XXXX XXXX only to be told my account was past due since XXXX 2015. The XXXX agent I spoke with showed my credit file was not updated and I would not be reported as being XXXX days past due since a payment was made. I received notification from XXXX XXXX of new reporting information, which was a delinquency reporting from Ally.
