Consumer Complaint: Leased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from a local dealership who ran the lease through Ally. Turned the car in on a pull ahead program and the day we turned it in Ally electronically took another month 's payment ( XXXX ) out of our account. Was told we would get that payment back since we no longer were leasing that vehicle. Ally just sent me a letter saying the lease was satisfied, but when I called them to ask about the refund for the month going forward they claimed they do n't owe me anything. XXXX fired Ally some time ago and XXXX claims this is just Ally getting back at them and they have no responsibility.

They are reporting bad information to the credit bureau 's they are reporting that I have been XXXX XXXX days lat on my payments and I have not been my payments are due on the XXXX of each month and I have always been on time. As of this date they are reporting that I am one month behind and that is in XXXX XXXX when I was in the hospital and had XXXX XXXX in XXXX weeks I call from the hospital and ask for a deferral and was given that request. Yet I have called Ally a minus of XXXX times and they will not correct what they arfe reporting on mr and my husband XXXX XXXX . I got Ally head quarters to send me a full History of all my payments and they only show that I was one time late bank in XXXX . This stopping us from getting a mortgage on a home. I told Ally this and the lady saif then you have made your payment on time we will not change anything for you. Account numbers # XXXX + XXXX XXXX XXXX I will fax to you the proof.

Consumer Complaint: I requested a Lease Buy out from my lease holder Ally Bank on XXXX XXXX , the amount quoted was {$27000.00}. The amount was good until my next payment due date on XXXX XXXX . However during my consult the next day at the dealer, they contacted Ally bank to obtain a buyout amount and received a quote of over {$30000.00}. Clearly this significantly changed pricing for me to have that amount added to my next loan/lease. To the least sophisticated buyer this could cause great financial hardship. Especially, if they did not attempt for themselves to obtain a customer buyout. That would have no idea why the buy-off [ minus ] dealers bid on your current vehicle would be high.

Consumer Complaint: My vehicle was a total loss and the insurance company paid the entire loan balance except for the late fees. Ally financial told me after the car paid that the late fees would be waived and my account was at XXXX. Ally financial sent me the title to the vehicle.
A month later Ally came back and said they were charging me late fees with a daily interest. From month to month the amount changed they were uncertain the amount of late fees and interest. In Virginia a company can not charge more than 12 % late fees. They are reporting to the credit bureau and I feel they are incorrect. Ally stated that they sent the title to insurance company and not to me. However their office also stated that they title should n't have been released if there was any kind of balance remaining on the account. Consumer Complaint: For the billing period of XX/XX/XXXX we had sent an electronic payment on XX/XX/XXXX and the funds were received and deposited by Ally Financial on XX/XX/XXXX . They claim that the account number was left off the electronic payment and they did n't know where to apply the payment, so they issued a refund check and mailed it back to our address on XX/XX/XXXX making it 30 days late. upon receiving the the check we immediately sent another payment and called to pay over the phone s o 2 pa yments were made. I have tried disputing this situation on XXXX XXXX and it was denied. I even talked to Ally and was told to write a letter and fax it with bank statements showing that the funds were withdrawn before the 30 day late period. They received everything with proof that they received the funds in time and still denied removing the 30 day late payment on my credit report. We were just about to start the process of buying our first house when this happened and because of that 30 day late m y credit score h as dropped severely.
