Consumer Complaint: I 've gotten repeated voicemails for a distant relative with a different last name, who has never lived at my address. The company says they are Ally Financial. I 've never done business with them or ever heard of them before this. They called my daughter on her work phone and my son in the XXXX XXXX XXXX. They 've never done business w Ally nor lived with the person Ally is calling about. I most recently got a voicemail at XXXX today, even though I blocked their number on my cell phone. I do not use private unscrupulous lenders such as this company ... i looked them up online ... i only ever use highly rated credit unions and banks. I 've mentored those with credit issues when I was a XXXX XXXX and deplore the tactics used by companies like Ally. I want them to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. And they better never call me or my kids ever again.

I have made numerous requests for a statement of how and when my payments are posted and how the fees were calculated. This company is violating my rights as a consumer. This issue has been ongoing since I bought the vehicle in 2015. The dealer did not give me any other financing options. They rushed me through the process and led me to believe Ally was the only finance option I had. I feel that this was a violation of the TILA and will seek damages if this is n't resolved in a timely manner.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I received a subpoena from Ally financial inc and legal advisers XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX. While surveying it I found exhibit c, a notice of rights to dispute debt. I never received this notice dated XXXX XXXX 2017. I called both respondents and informed them and the said i had received it because it did not come back in the mail. I believe this is unsatisfactory, careless and unprofessional. I have written a request for my 30 day notice period and a notice with correct date of XX/XX/XXXX to be sent to me. I have mailed this certified mail and express.The cost was not expensive. So how is it I, who has been out of work, can afford to be professional unlike a bank such as Ally or lawyers who get paid such exuberant amounts just to file suite . I intend to pay off the total amount, but when i requested where to have the money wired Ally refused to tell me until they called their lawyers so they can get a total with lawyer fees included. If they had given me an actual notice along with 30 days to fix this I would never have been expected to pay their attorneys fees. Might i just add the actual value is {$12000.00} and they say i owe {$17000.00} plus lawyer fees of {$2500.00} a total of {$19000.00}, this is highway robbery!

Consumer Complaint: I signed a document as the CO-SIGNER for a car loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The borrower was denied credit. The dealer then put me as the principal borrower without notice. I received 7 credit denial before one credit company approved the loan and put me as the only borrower on the loan. I never received any documents from either the dealer or the lending company. 3 weeks ago, I sent them both a letter by certified mail requesting copies of the contracts for this transaction. All I received is a phone call from the general manager at the dealership saying that I did n't have to worry that it is normal in this situation that I became the principal borrower. I called the lending company asking for copies of that loan contract and they too said that they will send it to me and never did. I believe that FRAUD as been committed to make the sale no matter what. I never intended to be the principal borrower to purchase this vehicle and the dealer by refusing to give me copies of the contract for me to review where my signature appears and what THEY made it look like they had my approval to change the status of co-signer.

Consumer Complaint: A company called Ally Financial. A company I have never heard of or tried to do business with pulled my credit report on XXXX XXXX, 2016. This was a hard hit at the credit bureau, probably all three. I just received my credit report from XXXX, saw them on the report. I called them on 3 different occasions and told them I did not try to purchase a vehicle through them. Also they did not have the right to check my credit report without my authority. I spoke with, management, the credit dispute office and the fraud department. They did not want to talk to or help me.They refused to help me get this hard hit off my credit report. The credit bureau told me what to tell them to remove it. They still refused. In my opinion Ally Financial could be part of a larger conspiracy in the fraud and Identity theft going on in this country today. More than the general public might imagine. Companies like theirs do n't need a social security number to pull your credit. So they could do this to hundreds or maybe even thousands of consumers and get away with it. I bring this incident to your attention because why would they be so adamant about not wanting to help me. Maybe they figured that if they helped me they might be opening XXXX 's box or get caught with their hand in the cookie jar.I have filed a complaint report with the FBI in Washington, also the BBB in Minnesota. I called the local police dept and they told me they are not listed as a business in XXXX MN. They are operating out of XXXX and the police dept could n't understand why they were using a XXXX address. He refered me to the FBI. I will be calling the XXXX police dept as well. on

Consumer Complaint: Ally financial is reporting on all 3 of my credit reports. XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX all incorrectly. Balances of {$9500.00}. I have contacted this place on several different occasions and I have no progress in over a year. Just more bad comments to my credit reports. I have tried emailing the CEO of the company on more than one occasion, No responses on the date of X/X/17 and X/X/17. have sent disputes through all three credit bureaus and the better business bureau as well. Dates including X/X/17. X/XX/17 and XX/XX/17. I have one report showing my balance is paid in full, I have another report showing i only paid only a % of it. All reports show this account was closed over a year ago. No balances are correct. I have had no contact with this place, they have not contacted me, no letters, no calls, no correspondence. How is a closed account reporting negative payments? Is this even legal?? I got no notification of this action. I would like to demand proof of this debt, specifically the " alleged '' contract or other instruments bearing my signature and identification as well as proof as well as your proof of authority to collect and report this matter. Please evidence your authorization under 15 USC 1692 and 15 USC ( f ) in this alleged matter. Please provide a complete account history, including any and all charges added for collection activity.
