Consumer Complaint: Bank : Ally Issue : False advertisement for {$100.00} bonus for new account I opened an account with Ally because of the promotion in XX/XX/2017. The promotion page listed 5 conditions. However, after I have met the 5 conditions, Ally refused to honor the bonus and cited that according to their current promotion ( {$200.00} bonus ), 3 trades are required. The current offer page also clearly listed the 3 trades qualification condition. I have the previous screenshot that shows at the time of my promotion, there was no such requirement. Or I could assume that it was deliberately made unknown the customers. Ally can not show any concert proof that it was in the fine print either.

Consumer Complaint: As a result of a drunk driver hitting our children and totaling our daughter 's truck the Insurance company paid their portion and Ally contacted our GAP Company, XXXX directly instead of allowing us to do it. XXXX paid the balance Ally provided and now Ally is sending us an additional balance which is accruing interest and the phone calls are incessant. First, why would Ally contact XXXX instead of allowing us to file a claim? Second, why would Ally not send the proper payoff. The balance has doubled and it is negatively affecting our credit. Ally Acct # XXXX Accident XX/XX/XXXX XXXX Claim # XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Balance after insurance payout XXXX paid on GAP claim- {$200.00} Ally claiming we still owe {$100.00}. Now with interest up to {$200.00}. Why would Ally submit one amount to GAP for final payment and then continue to send us an amount due? Neither company will take responsibility for their mistake. XXXX ignores me completely.

I have very little debt, and my home is paid off. Based on my score I should have been offered no higher than 5 percent interest but the dealership said I was being offered 12 percent which they later emailed me and said it was just over 9. The company Ally Financial has been fined multiple times for discriminatory lending and I believe they have not altered their practices. I am a XXXX woman, XXXX XXXX vet and graduate student I do not think it's fair to have to overpay for things as basic as a car loan.

Consumer Complaint: Date of Issue - XX/XX/2018 Ally Bank is using a credit reporting agency ( XXXX , XXXX ) that is providing inaccurate information about consumers credit history and causing Ally Bank to deny credit to consumers based on bad or inaccurate information. There are numerous reports online about XXXX, XXXX providing inaccurate information on them, and also many complaints specifically siting Ally Bank as the company that is using XXXX , XXXX for services. Many are stating that credit scores from XXXX are significantly lower than from XXXX of the big three agencies. And many complaints mention receiving denial letters specifically from Ally Bank, like myself. This is infuriating people! I have what is considered excellent credit and I protect it well. As a result, I have my and my wife credit on freeze with the big three credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ). We took these steps because in today 's age, no one can keep our information safe from criminals and this step had to be taken. Why is a company like Ally Bank using a company like XXXX , XXXX when it appears they can NOT provide accurate information on consumers credit? Why? I called Ally Bank and tried to talk to someone and explain what happened and I got no where, so here I am writing this formal complaint against Ally Bank to this agency. To make matters worse, I am a current Ally Bank car loan customer who is two payments away from paying off a car loan with them and have always paid on time every month. So Ally is XXXX off their existing customers. Again - I HAVE OUTSTANDING CREDIT, and yet I receive a denial letter from Ally Bank making me think there is a serious problem, when really the ONLY problem is a company they are choosing to use, and Ally themselves. I will never again authorize any car dealer, or other institution to use Ally Bank again on my behalf, and I want a written apology letter from Ally Bank about this letter of denial I received. Shouldn't Ally Bank try to be a professional and reputable company and only use institutions that can provide accurate information about valuable customers and consumers? Is this too much to ask?
