Consumer Complaint: In the year XX/XX/XXXX, I was taking a look at cars through " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' and I realized the company ran my credit through financing companies I did not know about or ask for. The only thing I requested was for them to run my credit through XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. The companies they applied for ( without me knowing ) left me with a lower credit score. Hard inquires will stay on my credit report for about 2 years but I would like the freedom to be able to apply for more credit without deducting too many points from my score. I am very mad that they did that to me without my consent. My complaint is that I would like the following Hard inquires removed from my credit report : -ALLY FINAN 1, XX/XX/XXXX -XXXX XXXX XXXX , XX/XX/XXXX -XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX - XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I have a closed auto loan account with Ally Financial that I paid off in XX/XX/XXXX. It was reporting to XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX for its entire tenure. For some unknown reason, it stopped reporting on my XXXX report. I contacted XXXX for them to put it back on my report. I've sent in documents from Ally Financial numerous times to XXXX and had Ally Financial to verify to me that they had been reporting the account as an auto loan to all 3 major bureaus the entire tenure of the loan. They have also sent paperwork to XXXX documenting the account. The loan still shows on XXXX and XXXX, but not XXXX. Myself, along with Ally Financial, have been asking XXXX to update my credit file with my Ally Financial account. But they have refused to do it. I need this account to reflect on my credit report to prove to banks that I have made a major purchase before and increase my buying power. Please assist me in getting my information updated with XXXX because my efforts are not considered. The account number is XXXX. The car was a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, MS .

Issue: Problems at the end of the loan or lease
Subissue: Excess mileage, damage, or wear fees, or other problem after the lease is finished
Consumer Complaint: Leased a vehicle from Ally Financial. They are showing a balance of {$550.00} for excess wear on a wheel. This balance has been reported to the Credit Bureaus. Per the literature Ally sent to us regarding end of lease procedures/policies, excess wear constitutes broken, mismatched, bent or cracked wheel. Per the inspection report completed by Ally Financial, dated XX/XX/17, none of the above conditions are noted. We were an A paper loan for Ally and have excellent credit rating. During the course of our 4-year lease, there was never a late or missed payment. Again, based Ally Financials literature, the damage does not warrant a charge. Furthermore, this wheel can be purchased new for {$200.00}, not {$500.00} plus.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted Ally Financial about a late payment that was applied to my credit report as a negative mark .Someone said they will check into it .In XX/XX/XXXX there was a tropical storm by the name of Harvey that past through XXXX Texas and destroyed XXXX and surrounding areas, I was a victim of the storm so I contacted Ally to get my payments deferred. They agreed to defer XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX which was a great help for me. I called back on XX/XX/XXXX for more deferment, I was told no problem XXXX XXXX we'll take of it. XX/XX/XXXX came around I got a call saying my payment was is late, thinking they're referring to XX/XX/XXXX 's payment which is due XX/XX/XXXX. they were referring to XX/XX/XXXX payment, I was under the impression that my payments were deferred for XX/XX/XXXX, at that time I was told that XX/XX/XXXX wasn't deferred which made XX/XX/XXXX payment late.

Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Banking errors
Consumer Complaint: I have maintained Savings and several CD accounts at Ally Financial for ten years. In XX/XX/2017, without my request or authorization, someone at Ally changed the first name on my three bank accounts to a different first name ( same last name ). The name they used is not my name. The change was made unilaterally, without consulting me. I noted the error upon logging in to their website in XXXX of this year. I contacted their customer service department and explained the issue. I have now made three separate phone calls and followed up with four emails to Ally customer service. I have sent photocopies of three different forms of identification. The time I have devoted to this problem is now more than three hours. My most recent contact with the company ended when the customer service representative abruptly hung up on me.. I have repeatedly requested that someone from the company contact me and explain why the name on my account was changed. The company has still not changed the name on my accounts and no one from the company will explain to me how this happened.

Consumer Complaint: I had a car loan with Ally Financial and I traded the vehicle right about the time the payment was due. The dealership took its time paying of the Ally when I traded the vehicle so Ally put a 30 day late payment on my credit report and when I called them and explained to them that I no longer had the vehicle the customer service representative were very rude and told me I better pay them my payments.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I purchased a vehicle through Ally Financial, this was a Saturday. The following week, I contacted my credit union, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and refinanced the auto loan. I refinanced this loan well before the first payment was due. I have had several accounts and loans with this credit union and I have never had any issues and continue to use them for almost all of my loans today. Sometime that XX/XX/XXXX or that XX/XX/XXXX I was made aware that, somehow, the original check sent to Ally was a little short. I contacted XXXX and they promptly took care of the issue. Upon pulling my credit report, I realized that somehow Ally had shown delinquent payments of 30 and 60 days in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, well after the refinance was completed. I have contacted Ally and disputed multiple times but was told XXXX never contacted them for the full payoff amount. I have even asked how would my credit union have come up with the payoff amount without contacting Ally but they just say they have no record, XXXX just magically came up with a random payoff and sent them a check, I guess. I have attached several documents to support all of this and I now see that my credit report shows Ally to report the loan was paid in full XX/XX/XXXX but yet I still show late payments for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX of the same year. I have explained on multiple occasions that this must have been an accounting error or something and XXXX has even sent a letter to Ally explaining the mistake and accepting full blame but Ally refuses to remove the two negative marks from my credit report. Please see attached documentation.
