Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I was just notified that my XX/XX/XXXX complaint # XXXX was status closed based on the FALSE representations by ALLY that this XX/XX/XXXX complaint is a duplicate complaint from XX/XX/XXXX. INCORRECT. The prior XX/XX/XXXX complaint was closed in XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX and involved early XX/XX/XXXX payments that were misapplied. No sooner than this case was closed did the EXACT same problem happen to my XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX payment. I provided a letter from my bank 's ACH processor that confirms the problem and this letter is dated XX/XX/XXXX. This is a totally separate instance of the same styled problem and is NOT in any way a duplicate complaint. I have been awaiting ALLY 's response the my XX/XX/XXXX complaint only to now receive this ridiculous response. It appears that ALLY CSR calls all appear to be transferred overseas to what appears to be the XXXX and they're totally useless in this situation. My credit report score is being severely negatively impacted.

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern : I have been dealing with Ally Financial for approximately 6 years with an auto loan. In the month of XXXX I had spoke with an Ally representative requesting an extension for my XXXX payment. The represented submitted my request and I was advised they will contact me to verify if request was approved or denied. The following week I received a phone call from Ally requesting to collect a past due balance. During the call I advised the representative that an extension was submitted and requested if we could review that. The rep places me on hold for a minute or two. Once they break the hold they advised that they request was approved. I asked the rep again to verify it was approved and they stated yes. I then asked if this was approved why am I receiving this phone call? The lady apologized and advised she will have my information removed. About a week later I received another call requesting to collect a past due amount. I speak to the rep and they stated the approval was never approved. I then asked if every call is notated and if they can pull up the notes and if I can speak with their representative. They then confirmed that they see a call was made out on that day but no notes were left on the file. My next request was to speak to a supervisor to have that call pulled. The supervisor said they have to submit the request and a manager will give me a call back. A week passes by and I receive a call from a " supervisor ''. The gentleman most likely did not read any notes. I had to explain everything again to another representative. Once I brought him up to speed I asked if they obtained the recording. The gentleman advised no and then stated he will have his manager reach out to me within 2 days. After not hearing from anyone I attempted to call back the number the gentleman called me from but the number was not valid. After calling back the customer service number I spoke with a gentleman by the name of XXXX who actually read over the notes thoroughly and apologized. He then advised he can not pull the recording but advised me to switch my bill date for the time being in order to prevent the negative hits I was receiving to my credit score. He then stated that I will be contacted the upcoming business week from a manager. This issue began in mid XX/XX/2018 at this very moment XXXX pm mst I am on my 4th call to Ally in efforts to resolve my issue. The most upsetting thing about this process is that there is no representatives you can speak with in the states. My credit score has been dramatically impacted by this run around and I have yet to receive any resolution at this time.

Consumer Complaint: I have two auto loans with Ally, since XX/XX/XXXX. One vehicle was stolen in XX/XX/XXXX. When it was found it had major damages. It yook Ally so long to corporate with the insurance co. I called for a payoff when I was told the vechicle was totaled, vehicle info was deleted from online also. The payoff that they gave me was less that what was paid to them by the insurance. I recieved a statement of a balance of {$2500.00} but when I called to find out why I still have a balance was told it is in review with a supervisor. I have called them at least ten times, was told it is in review eveytime I call. They call about the other loan payment at least 7-12 times a day even on Sundays this is so disgusting when I explained to them that I make online payments they want you to set up something by forcing you and they threaten you and say you do not want to corporate. I feel like this is harassment. They call from all kinds of numbers that doesn't show its coming from Ally. I can't take this anymore .But when I asked about the totaled vehicle they say you have to call the total loss department. I feel I have been mistreated and disrespected.

Subissue: Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Consumer Complaint: To Whom It May Concern : I have noticed that you have placed an inquiry on my XXXX, XXXX credit file dated XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX,. As you probably know, Credit Reporting Agencies treat inquiries as a statement of fact and will not allow a consumer to dispute them. Since it is against federal law ( Fair Credit Reporting Act -- 15 USC 1681n ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ) for an entity to view a consumers credit report without a " permissible purpose, '' I am writing to inquire as to your alleged purpose for doing so since I did not apply for employment with your organization nor did I request credit from your organization. [ I Was alerted through my credit monitoring service that you pulled a hard inquiry on my profile that i did not authorize. ] Based on the evidence in my possession, this inquiry was performed under false pretenses as described in the clear language of the law. 15 USC 1681n ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ) states, in part, " in the case of liability of a natural person for obtaining a consumer report under false pretenses or knowingly without a permissible purpose, actual damages sustained by the consumer as a result of the failure or {$1000.00}, whichever is greater ; '' You are civilly liable to me in the amount of {$1000.00} for your willful violation of the law -- performing a " hard inquiry '' on my XXXX and XXXX file without my permission. I do hope that we can settle this matter amicably. You can remove the inquiry within one ( 1 ) business day of the receipt of this notice. Or, we can meet in court where you will end up removing the inquiry, paying me the civil liability fine, punitive damages for my score drop, plus court and attorney fees. The choice is up to you. Consumer Complaint: My credit score from the three major reporting agencies are XXXX, XXXX, XXXX. How can XXXX XXXX justify a rating of XXXX? Because they make up false information on the people so that they can help Ally Bank hopefully make more money on their auto loans. Limited history at address : I am in the process of moving to this location. I told that to the XXXX people at XXXX when I purchased the car. I've been at my previous address for over 20 years and at the address prior to that for over 10 years. Not enough debt experience - I usually pay CASH, is that a crime? Total Account balances? Limited history at this Phone : 20 years on one phone and 10 years on the other. How XXXX is that? XXXX XXXX, ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX., XXXX ) and Ally Bank ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX., XXXX ) are co-conspirators to defraud the public by providing wrong and or misleading information, so that Ally Bank can change the terms of the submitted auto loans so that Ally Bank can make more money. I am not sure if XXXX is also involved in this conspiracy or not, but if you look up all the complaints filed against XXXX XXXX, it sure looks like their might be a lot of auto dealers also involved as well as Ally Bank, for sure.

Consumer Complaint: Hi my name is XXXX XXXX and I have been trying to dispute a charge for my payment of XX/XX/XXXX. I scheduled the payment to be withdrawn from my account. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX has withdrawn {$680.00} from my checking account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I get a call from Ally saying my payments did not go through and I have statements from my account proving that the payment was successful. How do I go back getting this resolve so it would not effect my credit score and account. Thank you.
