Consumer Complaint: My auto loan through Ally Financial was paid numerous times but the company always called trying to collect late fees 2 days after the bill was paid up to date a fee of {$32.00} and then WANTED AN ADDITIONAL {$32.00} LATE FEE BOTH ON THE SAME DAY. tHERE WERE TIMES WHEN i PAID THE LOAN AMOUT AND PAID ADDDITIONAL MONIES BUT 2 DAYS LATER RECEIVED A LETTER STATING THAT A LATE FEE OF {$21.00} was still due. This went on the entire time for the loan. Mostly it was phone calls requesting {$32.00} late fees after the bill was paid up to date two days prior but I did finally receive a notice two days after it was paid requesting additional late fees. I have documented proof of both, additionally these letters and phone calls were generated a few days after the bill was paid. The car was repossed and I tried to pay one payment which Ally would not accept. I feel that I was a victim to a SIMILIAR CASE THAT INVOLVED A MAN NAMED XXXX, WHICH i SAW ON XXXX. wHILE THERE IS PROBABLY NOT TIME TO SAVE MY VEHCLE XXXX XXXX vin # XXXX, XXXX title # XXXX, lein held by ALLY Financial XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX. Debt was collected from PO boxes in XXXX, XXXX. I am sharing my stories so that you can prevent other consumers from experiencing fraudulent activity from ALLY Financial. I have documentation that could not be scanned at my local library but will and send in addition. But Ally also has copies that were sent to me, if they are being honest. I will file other complaints and forward documentation to you with the file.I prefer correspondence in writing and duplicates sent via email, I have had numerous problems with my XXXX account and emails disappearing or not sent to my inbox, another complaint for another time. Thank you in advance for your time and attention.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I purchased a vehicle from a XXXX dealer in XXXX Pa. I was given Ally bank as the car loan financer. In XX/XX/XXXX I voluntarily had the car repo 'd because the car was unsafe, and I also found that I was paying a large amount on the car loan in finance charges although at the time of approval my credit was not below average in fact I was able to obtain another vehicle at a lesser cost from another dealer at the time which attest to my credit worthiness. I was up to date on all payments and even sought to refinance the cars loan balance of about {$38000.00}. with the company to which they came back with a new offer of {$700.00} plus dollars a month and an extension of 7 years on the loan. I couldn't quite understand why I was being offered such a gross amount which was no different than my previously monthly payment of about {$850.00} monthly. I returned the car and did not hear back from Ally at all, I did move around a few times however they had my forwarding address on file always, and emergency contact numbers. On or about XX/XX/XXXX, I started seeing a balance of {$8300.00} dollars from Ally bank on my credit report. so from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX, Ally bank had not contacted me they did not forward me any paperwork about the car being sold at auction, where the auction was held or how much the car sold for, nor had they given me the choice to take on the {$8300.00}, as my own debt and pay the tax on it. I hired a credit repair agency to dispute the debt because I feel that there was some type of shady issues going on with Ally. Upon researching the company further it had come to my knowledge that Ally agreed to a settlement of discrimination during the time period of the time I purchased the vehicle, and they were refunding overcharges in financing that the Federal government had found they were guilty of overcharging XXXX XXXX on interest and splitting the proceeds with car dealers. I feel that I am a victim of this practice, I did not know there was a lawsuit and could not get the administrators of the class action suit on the contact line but I sent them a message to which I have not heard back from them. I feel that because of their breach in Truth In Lending Practices negates me from what they are saying I owe Ally has committed fraud, the fact it took them over a year and a half to contact me on the car so I don't know what the fee 's are, is a violation of my consumer rights and that they should remove this inaccurate information from my report. According to the law : Most states bar creditors from collecting a deficiency balance if they fail to comply with notice requirements ( such as notifying you of the right to cure or of the sale ) or didnt sell the property in a commercially reasonable manner. Ally just wrote me a letter stating I owe money to my address which means they had all information to contact me in writing certified mail of the actions regarding the reselling of the car and my rights as a consumer. Ally bank is a bad institution and I would like to resolve this issue with the discharge of the amount, and the removal of the misinformation on all my reports, and prevent them from providing this debt to debt collectors and ordering all debt collectors to remove this inaccurate information.

Consumer Complaint: Ally Financial has not applied payments to the car loan accurately, and they have added months on the payments as well as reporting that I have 12 missed payments which is all false. They also report a late payment every month the the credit bureaus. The car loan was for 72 months, I received the car in XX/XX/2015, which means there should be 36 months left on the loan but Ally Financial is reporting there is 44 months left on the loan. The loan started at XXXX and 3 years later it is showing XXXX left on the car loan, IMPOSSIBLE. Based on what Ally Financial numbers I will be paying almost double for this vehicle which is a used XXXX. This company is stealing and will not talk and explain any of it. I can never get anyone on the phone to explain this, they only say what is showing which is the same thing that I can see from the online system which is FALSE.

Consumer Complaint: I rented a house about 3 years ago. The previous renter was XXXX XXXX. Other than the initial changing of water services, etc. I've had no contact with him. A year or so ago, I began getting calls from a debt collector. When asked how & why they had my number, they told me they have to right to investigate & call his relatives & anyone who might know him- they found my number by the address & it did not matter if I was on the Do Not Call Registry. One evening a guy came to my home looking for him. This man was driving a tow truck, so we presumed he was there to impound a car. I know that the house was broken into when XXXX lived there. This feels like a threat to my property & personal safety at this point. These people continue to call me about every 2 weeks. I've gotten voicemails form " XXXX '' & " XXXX ''. I spoke to " XXXX, employee XXXX '' today, who refused to let me speak to a manager and hung up on me. I've XXXX to them & got no response. When the calls from them increase, so do all Robocalls/texts. I feel that they are illegally sharing my info as a threat.

Consumer Complaint: When I opened my account with Ally ( formerly XXXX ), they were representing themselves as a NO TRANSACTION FEE banking alternative to the traditional greedy way banks operate. In particular I asked it Wire Transfers, In and Out, were free of fees and was told YES. Over the years I have and continue to have funds wired INto the account and on occasion, I wire funds OUT of the account and as it was represented, there were no wire transfer fees. That was until yesterday when I processed a Wire Transfer OUT of the account. They charged me {$20.00} to process the Wire Transfer transaction. This is ILLEGAL and what is referred to as BAIT AND SWITCH. I DEMAND my {$20.00} refunded and an additional {$60.00} to cover the time I would otherwise not have had to spend calling them and now having to process and submit this complaint due to their illegal and greed Bait and Switch tactics. TOTAL DEMANDED : {$80.00}.
