Consumer Complaint: My credit report was involuntarily frozen by XXXX due to its security breach. I applied for a loan today with Ally Bank through XXXX XXXX, etc. in XXXX, AL ; however, Ally Bank wants to charge me 15 % interest with a XXXX credit score. Two years ago I was granted a 12 % interest auto loan with a credit score of around XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was told by the finance manager of XXXX that the reason Ally Bank charged this high interest rate is that my credit report had to be unlocked and that some finance companies penalizes consumers because of this. This is totally unfair to consumers. I did not place this freeze. XXXX had to place this freeze due to a security breach. What is going on? Most auto interest rates in today 's market starts at or about 3.0 with an average credit score of 640-699.

Consumer Complaint: This has to do with a money order loan payment that was posted on XX/XX/2018. This payment was for the month of XX/XX/2018. The amount of the money order was for {$860.00}. Ally posted the payment incorrectly as {$960.00} and the money order was reversed. The payment was not returned to the bank, nor was it returned back to us. Ally keeps on calling us and stating we are past due. We can't get an answer from them telling us what happened to the payment after they put the amount incorrectly. They did not mail it back to us, nor does the bank that issued the money order have it. I just got off the phone with them for the 5th time and they can't give me an answer of what happened to the payment! They now have posted a late payment on our credit report. This payment was not 30 days late! I want to know what happened to the money order and when it was pointed out to them that it was their error, why wasn't it fixed.
