Issue: Struggling to repay your loan
Subissue: Can't get other flexible options for repaying your loan
Consumer Complaint: XXXX College is known as a scammer school that shut its doors on its students and left everyone in debt. I transferred out of XXXX College a year before it closed down due to the fact that I didnt believe they had given me the education they promised, they didnt train me properly, and they promised I would be finished in 2 years, which I absolutely wasnt. Nor was any of my peers. A year later they were shut down and I am stuck paying back {$100000.00} in student loan debt with no degree or certificate to show for it. I am struggling to make ends meet while still trying to get an education at a better school. I believe it is completely unfair that I was promised a good education by a scam school that eventually closed down and forgave the student loans of the students currently at the school. I was smart enough to leave to not accrue MORE debt, however, I am still paying back the loans caused by this school. I would like forgiveness of my loans from XXXX College or a giant percentage taken off at a better rate so I can pay back at least some and get this horrible school off my of record and off of my mind.

Consumer Complaint: In the process of bringing my student loans out of default and into repayment- After rehabilitating my loans- It was transferred to XXXX XXXX XXXX ( in PA ). I received a letter DATED XX/XX/XXXX that stated " for the next 3 months, your payment will remain the same as it was during your rehabilitation '' when I attempted to pay my XX/XX/XXXX payment ( 3rd month ), it increased by 700 %. The ambiguous letter should be a violation of the Fair Lending Act ( ECOA ), and should CLEARLY state when the the " period '' starts and ends. I called customer service on XX/XX/XXXX spent 1 hour and 47 minutes on the phone with XXXX, XXXX and XXXX with over 20-25 minutes on hold, if not more. I was told that the letter was a generic letter and that my payment schedule with XXXX XXXX XXXX BEGAN in XX/XX/XXXX, not XX/XX/XXXX and there was nothing they could do about the payment. ECOA I submitted an income based repayment plan and received an email that they would get back to me in a month. I submitted a request to change the date of my payment, that takes 10 days to review ( was not given an option to choose a date to begin with ). It is hard for me to believe that a Income Driven Repayment schedule should take this long. ( XXXX processed my significant others in days ). The last issue I have with XXXX XXXX XXXX is the manner of payment. They require you to give your routing number and ACCOUNT number and will not let you pay by debit card or other payment type. As someone who works in the financial industry, I advise all customers NOT to give ANYONE your checking account number. This needs to be addressed! In summary XXXX XXXX XXXX should be investigated in their policies and practices.

Consumer Complaint: I have retained new copies of my credit reports, and noticed that you did not furnish the credit bureaus with the required disclosure, within the period required by law. You are required by federal law to place a notice of dispute on my account within 30 days of my dispute, which you signed for on XX/XX/18. I have retained a copy of your signature and date of receipt, as well as a time-stamped copy of my credit reports, showing that you have violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) and/or the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Section 807 ( 8 ) by not placing the disclosure within the required 30-day period. Therefor they must request that these debts be deleted from all credit reporting agencies. They have also been reporting late payments although this account shows as closed on my credit report. If this violated of the law is not handled appropriately I will report this to the my attorney general, the XXXX XXXX XXXX and then I will file a case at my local small claims court. I have kept a close record of all of this in case I need to move forward.

Consumer Complaint: Today is XX/XX/19, and it is XXXX XXXX pst. My loan payment with XXXX XXXX is due on XX/XX/19. I'm trying to pay my payment on the day it's due, and XXXX XXXX XXXX has XX/XX/19 as a greyed out option for paying my bill. Therefore, I had to select the first ungreyed-out day, which is XX/XX/19. Despite paying my bill on time, XXXX XXXX forced me to pay my bill one day late, when actually today is XX/XX/19. This is illegal. They will now claim that I paid my bill late, which means it won't count as a qualifying payment towards my Public Service Loan Forgiveness plan. In actuality, I'm paying my very large bill on time. I want XXXX XXXX XXXX to accept my XX/XX/19 payment for my XX/XX/19 due date as an on-time payment. Note in the attached picture that the date on my computer, the date the bill is due, and then the date that XXXX XXXX XXXX is allowing payment ( they aren't allowing payment on XX/XX/19 ).

Consumer Complaint: I requested a review of my Public Service Loan Foregiveness qualifying months a year ago. I have call several times since then to ask if it had been completed. This review has still not been completed and XXXX XXXX XXXX is unwilling to provide me with a general timeframe. I was also told around XX/XX/2018 that the months that I overpaid on from my determined monthly payment amount would be reimbursed to me after my foregiveness was in effect. I have since been told this is wrong and mocked for asking this question. I am rarely treated with any sort of respect when I call XXXX XXXX & often given misinformation with no offered apologies. XXXX XXXX never seeks to offer a solution to issues that they cause. They are also unwilling to provide me with copies of narratives from when I called in without a sopeana.
