I feel my privacy has been beyond exposed ... at this point there is absolutely no way to know who all has my information through Wells Fargo Bank. Loyal Customer XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I dont remember the date exactly but its been awhile but Wells Fargo had switched my checking account to a checking account where I got free checks when I ran out but they were charging me XXXX dollars a month and it had something to do with the checking account also. As time went on I had stop writing checks and I had called to see why they were still charging me the XXXX dollars. So I had called and ask the operator that helped me why I was still being charged the XXXX dollars and he literally laughed at me and said we discontinued that checking program a long time ago and he says he will stop the XXXX I was being charged monthly. I asked him if it had stopped a long time ago than why was I still being charged the XXXX dollars and he says he did not know and he could not help me with that

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I received a phone call with the caller ID, " XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. '' ( XXXX ) requesting to speak to XXXX but I confirmed with her that XXXX was my last name 10 years ago. She asked me if I used to live at " XXXX. XXXX, FL. I confirmed with her that used to my old address. The lady identified herself as " XXXX XXXX '' from XXXX XXXX XXXX wanting to confirm if I opened an online bank account on XX/XX/XXXX. I responded saying " no. '' On her end, she informed me that someone had opened an online bank account under my name and would need extra alerts on the account. She asked me if I made a XXXX transfer of {$1300.00} to an individual named, " XXXX XXXX. '' I answered. " no. '' She stated on her end that there was a pending transaction on my account for the amount of {$1300.00}. She instructed me to log into my XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and my wells fargo bank account and enter XXXX that she was going to give me a confirmation code to stop the transfer. I was also given a confirmation number for this transaction, " XXXX XXXX. '' I did two transfers on that day with the confirmation code that she was giving me. She instructed me to not log into my XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and my wells fargo account because she was going to work on the fraud transfer. The next following day, XX/XX/XXXX, I received a phone call from the same phone number and caller ID, " XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX '' ( XXXX ), from " XXXX XXXX '' also identifying himself as a XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX Fraud Department. He was assigned to work on my case. On that day, I was given two confirmation codes, ( XXXX ) & ( XXXX ). I was instructed again, that I needed to enter to my XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ( XXXX ) and wells fargo through XXXX. He told me that a refund would appear the next day. On XX/XX/XXXX, " XXXX '' called me again and asked if I have received a refund on my account. I replied saying " No '' and they told me that there was an issue with the confirmation codes and had to be given new confirmation codes. I was given two new additional codes that day with the same instructions that I had to do before. They asked me if I had other bank accounts enrolled in XXXX. I replied saying " Yes '' and they asked me to login into my Wells Fargo account to add alerts on my XXXX account. I also did 3 transfers in my Wells Fargo account. ( Checkings and savings account ). I received several phone calls on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX from " XXXX XXXX '' and " XXXX XXXX '' wanting to confirm if the funds were back on my account. I confirmed saying " no because I realized that the codes that they were giving me, it turned into actual money transfers. '' I told them that I was not going to take from them anymore confirmation codes because I was not receiving my money back when they informed me that I should receive a refund within 24 hours and that's when I realized that something was wrong. They started arguing with me saying that " they wanted to help me out to get my money back but I needed to cooperate with them. '' Every transfer I made, they were giving me emails with my name on it. These are the emails that I were able to write down as part of the instructions. " XX/XX/2023 : {$1300.00} recipient XXXX '' " XX/XX/2023 : {$1900.00} recipient XXXX '' " XX/XX/2023 : {$1900.00} recipient XXXX '' " XX/XX/2023 : {$1400.00} recipient XXXX '' " XX/XX/2023 : {$1900.00} recipient XXXX '' " XX/XX/2023 : {$1000.00} recipient XXXX '' " XX/XX/2023 : {$1500.00} recipient XXXX '' " XX/XX/2023 : {$190000.00} recipient XXXX '' " XX/XX/2023 : {$1900.00}, recipient XXXX '' " XX/XX/2023 : {$1500.00} recipient XXXX '' These are my transfers from my Wells Fargo account : " XX/XX/2023 : {$1000.00} recipient XXXX '' " XX/XX/2023 : {$1000.00} recipient XXXX " XX/XX/2023 : {$690.00} recipient XXXX '' " XXXX XXXX '' gave me a phone number to check on the status of the refund. The phone number is ( XXXX ) and to call them after XXXXXXXX XXXX. His direct extensions was " XXXX. '' On XX/XX/XXXX, " XXXX '' called me again to follow up on the refund. Once again I advised him that I was not going to sign into my XXXX XXXX XXXX or wells fargo account, he proceeded to transferring me to " XXXX XXXX '' and I told her that I called myself " XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX '' to confirm this transactions and they confirmed that there was no transactions pending. So It was confirmed that I was a victim of a Scam. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' and spoke to an agent to report the scam. I was given two claim numbers. I called Wells Fargo and also reported about the scam but did not receive a claim number from them. On XX/XX/XXXX, I filed a police report about the incident.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to file an official complaint against Wells Fargo & Company concerning XXXX unauthorized transactions totaling {$1800.00} from my account. Despite filing a claim with Wells Fargo regarding these transactions, my complaint was denied without adequate resolution. I discovered the aforementioned unauthorized transactions on XX/XX/2023 and immediately contacted Wells Fargos customer service to alert them. I followed the requisite procedure and filed a formal claim on XX/XX/2023. After providing all necessary details and documentation to support my claim, I was notified on XX/XX/2023 that my claim had been denied. No clear or satisfactory reason was provided for the denial. I am deeply concerned not just about the unauthorized transactions, but also about the seemingly arbitrary manner in which my claim was denied. The lack of a clear explanation and resolution is distressing and leads to diminished trust in Wells Fargo as a financial institution.

Issue: Closing an account
Subissue: Funds not received from closed account
Consumer Complaint: I was scammed i cashed XXXX checks of {$1400.00} that were fraudulent and i didnt know. I sent {$1600.00} out of the XXXX checks and the rest remained untouched. The bank took back all XXXX checks to which i owed a total of {$1600.00} to Wells Fargo. I have XXXX accounts with wells fargo my checking and my savings, all the money was taken from my checking and i acknowledge what i owed and was trying to pay off the debt to close the account and move on. After XXXX weeks of being transferred from department to department no one could help me, what ended up happening was they took what i owed from my XXXX account to pay it off. Now my savings account has still been untouched but they where still closing it, in my savings i have a total of {$2600.00} ; i called the loss prevention line and they said i can pick up the funds to close the account permanently ; when i went to get the funds they said that the bank had taken it and will not give back saying that i owed that much ; when in fact i didnt owe anything other then the {$1600.00} since Wells fargo had taken the uncashed checks directly out of my checking ; this is my first time being scammed and i have been treated like a criminal, they will not work with my on anything and nobody knows what they are doing over the phone. My savings is my money that i dont owe to anyone so their is no reason for Wells Fargo to be saying that i owed that on top of the {$1600.00} i have statements that show i didnt spend the other checks and statements confirming Wells Fargo took the uncashed checks out, i payed what i owed and now their saying i owe more this has been nothing but a childs game for the past month ; i want my funds from my savings as i dont owe Wells Fargo anything after the {$1600.00} was payed back to them of the fraudulent money.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, XXXXXXXX XXXX., I received a notification that there was a withdrawal in the amount of {$300.00} ATM Transaction and {$1000.00} ATM Transaction from a card ending with XXXX. It asked me to reply Y if authorized or STOP to STOP msgs. I replied STOP to but did not press Y to authorize the charges. Also, the card ending XXXX is not a card that was ever issued to me. Once I noticed I pressed stop and didn't respond with Y, I called Wells Fargo Customer Service and told them I had unauthorized charges and they were unable to help me because the Legal department was closed. I showed up in person to my local Wells Fargo Bank on the very next day, XX/XX/2023. The banker was able to confirm that two checking accounts were opened in my name without authorization from XXXX XXXX and that funds from my credit account were moved into one of the accounts and then withdrawn. I have received multiple decisions from telling me I am not liable to telling me I am liable for the fraudulent charges which has been very confusing and stressful. One of the employees from Wells Fargo is making accusations that the transfer was authorized from my IP address which is completely false. I also received a letter stating instead of {$4300.00} I have charges in the amount of {$6600.00} that were authorized by me and my claim has been closed. I have been meeting with the same banker and it's still ongoing locally. I really hope we can resolve this issue as I am XXXX XXXX XXXX and retired and I really want to resolve this as I live on a fixed income and shouldn't have to pay for something that was unauthorized on my account. Wells Fargo even claims you wont be held responsible for promptly reported unauthorized card transactions which I did that very night by calling customer service.
