Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Problem making or receiving payments
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23 I initiated a Bill Payment in the amount of {$570.00} through Wells Fargo to XXXX XXXX. Their bill pay system accepted my request and indicated that the payment would arrive at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/23. XX/XX/23 was, co-incidentally, my payment due date. Unfortunately, after placing this request, for whatever their reasons, Wells Fargo, with no notice to me, changed the delivery date from XXXX to XXXX. This caused XXXX XXXX to assess a {$29.00} late fee and they will also be assessing finance charges to my account. I have never paid an account late and this may negatively effect my credit score. I did report this to Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo opened case # XXXX however Wells Fargo claimed it would take them 10 business days to " investigate '' the matter. If we wait that long, there will be no chance to avoid the imposition of finance charged by XXXX XXXX.

Subissue: Funds not handled or disbursed as instructed
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I used my Wells Fargo checking account to make a payment on my XXXX XXXX Credit Card. Despite having more than enough funds in my Wells Fargo Account, it claimed to have some sort of issue and took the money back from XXXX, without putting it back into my account. Because of this, my credit card balance remained the same ( but I also got charged {$41.00} on XX/XX/XXXX by XXXX for returned check charge ) and Wells Fargo kept the money without returning it to me. The payment I made was {$120.00}, so with the {$41.00} fee, I am out {$160.00} because of Wells Fargo. My credit card review shows Wells Fargo made and withdrew the payment twice. This isn't the first time Wells Fargo has played with my money and I've seriously considered switching banks but I want my money back first.

The transaction was still flagged as pending given that it happened on a XXXX Wells Fargo took our report and promised to investigate. They conducted their investigation and decided that the transaction was valid since according to them it was initiated from an authenticated device. No evidence was provided of this being the case or explanation of how that could happen if my son didn't initiate the transaction. They told us that the determination was final. Total loss was {$360.00}.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Public record information inaccurate
Consumer Complaint: I submitted an application for a business line of credit with Wells Fargo. However, the approval process was temporarily suspended due to the presence of an outstanding judgment dated XX/XX/XXXX. It is essential to note that my business was officially incorporated on XX/XX/XXXX, and subsequently granted an Employer Identification Number ( EIN ) on XX/XX/XXXX. Wells Fargo has been duly furnished with the aforementioned documentary evidence. Regrettably, despite the incontrovertible evidence presented, Wells Fargo has expressed reluctance in acknowledging the evident reporting inaccuracy. I have communicated to Wells Fargo the implausibility of a five-year charge on my business account, given the company 's recent establishment, spanning only a few months. In response, Wells Fargo advised me to initiate contact with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, the credit reporting agency involved. However, my interactions with XXXX have been marked by a notable reluctance to provide meaningful assistance. Rather than effectively addressing the underlying issue, I have been subjected to a protracted and fragmented procedure, deviating from the expeditious resolution of the matter at hand. In light of the aforementioned circumstances, I wish to express my serious concerns regarding the handling of this matter by both Wells Fargo and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I seek a prompt and equitable resolution to rectify this credit reporting inaccuracy, which has adverse implications for my business.

Issue: Repossession
Subissue: Notice to repossess
Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo has repossessed my vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX, without notice, in violation of the CFPD Consent order XXXX and the US Office of Currency consent order of XX/XX/XXXX. I have not received any communication regarding this account since XX/XX/XXXX. No notice was sent prior to this action. Moreover, Wells Fargo has not fixed my account in regard to the consent order and under XXXX Emergencies XXXX. Wells Fargo has violated " Breach of Peace '' in regard to Maryland Law. Maryland Law requires to not breach the peace when repossessing a car. Cars parked on the street, in a driveway or in a public parking lot may be repossessed by the lender. However, if the car is housed inside a locked garage or gate, the lender may not enter by unlawful means to repossess the vehicle. My vehicle was housed in a locked garaged and Wells Fargo agent unlawfully entered the premises without notice unlawfully. Lenders may not repossess a vehicle unless there is an agreement in writing that clearly states the lender can repossess the vehicle if the debtor fails to make the agreed upon payments. Wells Fargo continues to provide canned answers to appease the investigating agencies yet fail to act in coordination with consent orders entered. Wells Fargo acts in a manner above the law. In light of the Administrative Proceedings File # XXXX ; Wells Fargo Continues to bully consumers violating them for undue unjust enrichment by use of " Unclean Hands ''. This behavior is repulsive and severe enforcement must prevail in prevention of this untamed savage behavior. This behavior is so widespread, Wells Fargo has lost accreditation with the Better Business Bureau. Wells Fargo fails to correct their records and bring an end to this beastly behavior. My account has been charged additional monies not agreed upon. Although I am a party of the administrative consent order. Wells Fargo is continuing the same behavior without respect to their consent order. They are stating checks have been sent to me in refund that have not ( see attached ). No replacement check issued. I am utterly disappointed and disgusted over the ongoing and continued behavior. I have completed the amortization on the loan and found the additional principal payments were not applied as paid commencing from XXXX. Moreover, I have paid three times the interest amount which in itself constitutes Wells Fargo has reneged on the Consent Order. Wells Fargo had thugs and thieves break into a locked closed garage on Private property, unlicensed to be onsite, steal my vehicle under false manufactured numbers. Wells Fargo is in receipt of payments made which are not credited to my account. The repossession of my vehicle is in immediate violation of the consent order and I request immediate action accordingly.
