Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/ - Deposited {$30000.00} into my Wells Fargo savings acct. Item was drawn on XXXX XXXX. Receipt said {$5000.00} would clear overnight, the rest by XXXX. When the money didn't clear overnight, I phoned the bank and they said " Refer to maker. '' So I called the branch manager at XXXX XXXX, who was speechless that Wells Fargo would question the validity of one of their checks. XX/XX/ - no funds clear, was now told the money would be available on XXXX. Wells Fargo refused to call the branch mgr at XXXX XXXX XX/XX/ - was told that the funds might not be available on XXXX, with no indication of when the funds would be available. Person on the phone took down the information regarding the branch mgr at XXXX XXXX. I got a text from my brother who also uses Wells Fargo and recd a check for the same amt from XXXX XXXX, at the exact same time ; he said he had no problem retrieving the funds.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, XXXX asked for a down payment of {$5000.00} violating 12 CFR 1026.4 which clearly says that the finance charge does not include charges of a type payable in a comparable cash transaction ; Also pursuant to 15 U.S.C 1666f it states that with respect to any sales transaction, any discount from the regular price offered by the seller for the purpose of inducing payment by cash, checks, or other means not involving the use of an open-end credit plan or a credit card shall not constitute a finance charge as determined under section 1605 of this title if such discount is offered to all prospective buyers and its availability is disclosed clearly and conspicuously. Therefore, you are in violation of federal laws for EXTORTION me to paid a down payment. my right of Rescission Pursuant to 12 CFR 1026.23 ( b ) ( 1 ), Truth In Lending Act as I was never told I had 3 days to rescind the transaction nor was I given the notices that come along with all consumer credit transactions. Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 -- -- -- On XX/XX/2023 I deposited a check into XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX at the Wells Fargo Bank in XXXX Nevada XXXX in the amount of {$60000.00}. The check was for the renovation project on the home. After a month has gone by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has not honored their agreement. In contact with XXXX XXXX XXXX first, he claimed that the funds were not in his account and then he said the Wells Fargo Bank had a hold on the funds that were deposited into his account. I contacted again and XXXX told me that Wells Fargo Bank has a freeze on his account and is under investigation. I've contacted my bank XXXX Bank in XXXX Nevada to try to retrieve the funds back from Wells Fargo Bank and they told me that the funds have already been paid to the XXXX account at Wells Fargo Bank and they could not retrieve the funds back from Wells Fargo that XXXX and Wells Fargo would have to send them back to my account. I have contacted Wells Fargo Bank to try to resolve the issue and they acknowledge the receipt with a case number and after a number of telephone conversations with them, they told me that they couldn't help me get the funds returned to my XXXXXXXX XXXX account. I can provide a copy of the check and deposit receipt. Also, the case number from Wells Fargo Bank is XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX the XXXX at XXXX, I received a text from the following number ( XXXX ) XXXX and it stated that it was Wells Fargo XXXX The text read " Wells Fargo XXXX pymt. of {$98.00} was attempted at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/08. If you did not authorize this transaction, please reply NO. If you did authorize this transaction simple ignore this msg, or reply STOP to stop notifications ''. In a panic, I immediately replied, " NO ''. I was at working at my high school and was distracted by the students, but the phone rang and a gentleman pretended to be a Wells Fargo customer service agent. He went on to explain several other charges that were being attempted and I told him that it was not me. He told me not to worry and he was going to help me protect my account and stop the transactions. He continued to ask questions about the location of my bank card and I assured him that it was in my possession. He then proceeded after asking me questions for a while and asked about my online account. I gave him my username and that's when I started to see all kinds of transactions take place on my account. I was started receiving text messages with codes and he would ask for the codes to verify. During this process he was changing passwords and accessing all of my accounts including the joint accounts I have with my husband and XXXX sons. Transactions started happening with my XXXX. He asked if I could see money from my bank on my XXXX account. He assured me that he moved the money there so that it would be protected from being withdrawn from the Wells Fargo bank. I then noticed that my son 's money was being transferred to my account. I hung up the phone and called the customer service number on the back on my card and then I realized I was being scammed and my bank account was at zero. Upon speaking with the bank, they informed me that someone had my debit card information stored on their phones wallet and had been making purchases and getting cash back at several stores in New York. I was asked if I had given my debit card info to anyone and if I were in New York or knew someone in that area who may have my info. I explained to them that I did not and I had not. I also let them know that I had not left the XXXX, Georgia area and the last time I used my debit card was the night before to purchase a plane ticket from XXXX. The bank concluded that somehow, someone had copied my card and also was using my phone as a clone to access accounts and apps and even face access. The transactions on my bank account were pending. I asked the bank if they could stop those pending transactions and I was told that they could not, but they would freeze my accounts, which including my personal account, my joint accounts with my husband and joint accounts with my sons. The money that was moved from my son 's account stayed in my account and the transactions that the thieves had made remained pending for almost two weeks. I was told to go to a bank location the next day and open all new accounts for all of the accounts that I was connected to. It was also recommended that I purchase a new phone. I stayed on the phone with Wells Fargo for hours trying to ensure that my husband and sons ' accounts were protected. I was transferred from representative to representative ; I was never able to speak with a person that worked in the US for Wells Fargo until I physically drove to the bank. Once in the bank, the bank representative received the same issues and he too was frustrated with not being able to speak with someone from the United States that worked for Wells Fargo who could assist with my account. The only time that my card could have been compromised is when I made a purchase at XXXX XXXX through at XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA XXXX. The young lady at the window took my debit card for over XXXX minutes and walked back to the window and said she forgot she had it. I will also be filing a complaint with them because I believe my information was stolen and sold from that location. Weeks later, I received a letter in the mail from Wells Fargo. They believed the transactions were done by me intentionally even though they had evidence of the phone and location of the transactions and of my location. A total of XXXX was not going to be returned to my account.

Consumer Complaint: Chronological order of events : 1. In XXXX XXXX sold to XXXX group. I opted to not continue with XXXX bank and the account is closed and a check was issued XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ( {$200.00} ). A few days later I did an E-deposit at my bank Wells Fargo and within days funds are in my account. 2. XX/XX/XXXX ( 9 months later ) the check is posted again at another financial institution ( See attached copy of deposit and look at the 2 different signatures ). Apparently, XXXX disputes this " double deposit '' with Wells Fargo. 3. XX/XX/XXXX Wells Fargo informs me that {$200.00} has been removed from my account due to a " double deposit '' ( no record of a double deposit in my account, as this was verified through my history of deposits ). This is the XXXX # : XXXX. 4. For next 7 weeks I dispute this with Wells Fargo, all the way to the office of the Administrator, and last person that said a " group '' had reviewed my case ( Escalation department - XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX ) and XXXX XXXX stated I had no other recourse with Wells Fargo, that the problem was with XXXX bank. Wells Fargo is not looking after my interest. Wells Fargo was the XXXX and should have resolved the problem to my favor. 6. XX/XX/XXXX I contacted a different department at Wells Fargo, claiming fraud, either by Wells Fargo, intermediary or XXXX bank. New case # : XXXX. Contact : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, SD XXXX Fax : XXXX XXXX. I have contacted XXXX XXXX and they have opened a fraud investigation, but 5 months later, they too have not resolved. ( Case # XXXX. Contact : XXXX XXXX. 8. XXXX XXXX, Wells Fargo determined there was no error on their part, even so 2 different signatures and deposits were made and they decided not to honor the first deposit ( my deposit done days after receiving the check ). Their investigation was textbook shallow without any intent of rectifying. Chronological evidence was presented but they still overlooked all the facts. I hope this gets resolved. I personally think someone either from Wells Fargo, the " private clearing house '' or XXXX bank " acquired '' my digital photo of the check and waited some time to " fraudulently '' redeposit at a later date. Or maybe just some glitch. Either way, I am minus {$200.00}. This was the only time I ever have made a digital e-deposit and I will never, ever do it again! Wells Fargo has acted very unprofessional and did not do a thorough investigation, swept the problem under the rug. It is obvious that Wells Fargo dropped the ball, did not pursue this and found the easy way out at the expense of the client. Here are 6 attached documents related to this problem. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I was forced into a bankruptcy, my ex-wife decided she wanted to stay home and not work, and it doomed us. After the bankruptcy went through I noticed an error. I had a vehicle through Wells Fargo Dealer Services that was not to be included in the bankruptcy. I learned later that it was even though I made all payments on time every month and paid the vehicle off. By law, any type of error is supposed to have the bankruptcy removed. Despite letters to both the credit bureaus and Wells Fargo, my request was ignored and denied, and the bankruptcy was never removed. I did not receive any positive credit for paying for the vehicle and paying it off, there fire affecting my long term credit. I simply would like the bankruptcy removed as the law states. PLEASE HELP
