Consumer Complaint: Hello, I am contacting you in hopes to successfully dispute an account since I have already reached out to the collection agency on XX/XX/year>. I mailed them a letter requesting validation of the collection. They responded by mailing a letter telling me that the collection was verified without any documents with my signature or any other further evidence. However, I need to have this removed because it violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act by using misleading representations and unfair and deceptive practices in the attempted collection of a debt.
