Consumer Complaint: Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 USC 1681 section 602a ), it explicitly mandates that consumer reporting agencies, such as XXXX, Transunion and XXXX must conduct their responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and respect for the consumers privacy rights. As the consumer, I assert my right, supported by 15 USC 6801, which emphasizes Congress 's policy that financial institutions must continuously respect the privacy of their customers and safeguard their nonpublic personal information. The entity supplying information to credit agencies, classified as a financial institution, is bound by these obligations. According to 15 USC 1681 section 604a ( 2 ), any consumer reporting agency can furnish a consumer report only in line with the written instructions of the concerned consumer. Both the financial institution ( Furnisher of information to credit agencies ) and the consumer reporting agencies, XXXX, Transunion and XXXX lack my consent and, more crucially, my written consent to furnish this information. Any form of consent, be it verbal, non-verbal, written, implied, or otherwise, is now revoked by me. Contrary to the provisions of 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ), the financial institution failed to inform me of my right to exercise nondisclosure options. Moreover, as per 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ), XXXX, Transunion and XXXX are unlawfully reporting adverse items without my permission, a violation of the law. Section 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A of the U.S. Code clearly stipulates that a person must not furnish inaccurate information to a consumer reporting agency. XXXX and XXXX are thus in breach of this requirement. Additionally, 15 U.S. Code 1681e mandates every consumer reporting agency to maintain reasonable procedures to prevent violations of section 1681c and to limit the furnishing of consumer reports to the purposes outlined in section 1681b. XXXX, Transunion and XXXX are failing to uphold these reasonable procedures. Lastly, according to 12 CFR 1016.7, I retain the right to opt out of your reporting services at any time, and I am hereby exercising that right. I expect these concerns to be promptly addressed to avoid legal repercussions.
