Issue: Getting a line of credit
Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: I qualify for a unsecured personal line of credit and because of insufficient credit history they said that they denied me. I have 11 years of credit history and a qualifying credit score. I determined based off of the systems algorithm that they use that I was denied based off of race. Im a business owner and I make sufficient profits enough to pay back the line of credit monthly. I just wanted to establish more credit. I feel that this is unfair.

Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Deposits and withdrawals
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I went to TD Bank to withdrawal a large sum of money. I brought with me all the pertinent documents for which was used to open said account. I was unable to withdrawal funds due to an expired driver 's license. My concern is that the bank was able to take my large amount of money in XX/XX/XXXX.My expired license was not an issue. When going to the Department of Motor Vehicle, I was told my license had expired XX/XX/XXXX. This means my bank account with TD Bank was opened without a valid license. My concern is without having a valid driver 's license upon opening, would this make my account invalid? It is very difficult for me to get to the bank because of my XXXX. I am moving to Maryland from Florida to be closer to family. I have a lot of expenses coming up in order to make this move happen.

Issue: Problem with a lender or other company charging your account
Subissue: Transaction was not authorized
Consumer Complaint: I ordered a dress using my TD Bank Debit Card from company online company @ XXXX from their website XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and paid XXXX. Throughout the course of the next 3 months the company gave numerous excuses via email as to why delivery of my dress was delayed ( I have all emails printed ). Finally I asked to cancel my order and for the money to be refunded to the card I used when the order was placed. I never received a refund. When I emailed the company again to ask about my refund I had been blocked. On XX/XX/XXXX after being unable to email the company I filed a dispute with through TD Bank. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent all necessary information including the emails where the merchant acknowledges they never sent my dress and promised me a refund for my unfulfilled order. I was given a provisional credit and told a thorough investigation would ensue. Three months later on XX/XX/XXXX TD Bank denied my dispute and reversed the provisional credit causing overdraft fees. I called that weekend as was told a new claim for the same dispute would be opened and to to call back on Monday to find out why initial claim was closed. I resent supporting documents on this day. On XX/XX/XXXX, at approximately XXXX XXXX I called TD Bank to ask why my dispute was closed. I was transferred to a supervisor named " XXXX '' who first told me my dispute was closed due to not receiving supporting documents. Supervisor XXXX later changed the reason the dispute was closed to because the original transaction date of the charge took place more than 60 days ago. Supervisor XXXX was curt and short with inconsistent explanations. Supervisor XXXX stated she can not reverse the provisional credit and refused to waive the overdraft fees caused as a result. I told supervisor XXXX I felt this was unfair and that TD Bank is being negligent by refusing to investigate this matter and adding further hardships by charging me fees. On XX/XX/XXXX, I entered a TD Bank branch location XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, FL XXXX and spoke with a branch manager who agreed to waive the over draft fees. The branch manger was unable to provide a provisional credit or provide any insight on the ongoing dispute.

Consumer Complaint: Good Evening Manager/Executive office ; I dont recall this account ever being late. You are reporting inaccurate information that is ruining my credit and I ask that you remove this inaccurate information immediately from my credit report. I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report and found late payment on the dates below : XX/XX/2018, 30-days late? - how? I am not sure how this happened, I believe that I had made my payments to you when I received my statements. My only thought is that my monthly statement did not get to me.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I notified Nordstrom/TD Bank that I am a victim of identity theft and my personal information was used to open an a fraudulent account. I requested that the fraudulent account be closed immediately and remove any charges on the unauthorized account. I also asked them to send me a written confirmation that I am not responsible for the charges on this account and take appropriate steps to remove information about this account from my credit files. I sent Nordstrom Bank a copy of my FTC Identity Theft Report, personal statement, police report, Proof of identity and Notice to Furnishers of Information. I still have not received a response from the company so I sent a follow up letter on XX/XX/XXXX via certified mail.

Consumer Complaint: I was on auto pay for the full balance on my Nordstrom account as the card was only used sporadically. I then began using the card and switched to the minimum payment for the XX/XX/2019 payment. However, they attempted to take out the full payment against my request. The payment account was linked to a checking account that was no longer my primary account and therefore came back insufficient funds. I went on their website again and changed to the minimum payment and paid a {$200.00} payment. Subsequently, I went on their website and it showed no back due payments. In XX/XX/XXXX, they again tried to take out the full payment against my settings and request. I once again logged into their website changed it to the minimum payment and made another {$200.00} payment. I then had to log in again and make the change to the minimum payment for a third time. It's bad enough that they kept trying to take out the incorrect amount against my stated requests. However, it turns out that they failed to process the {$200.00} payment in XX/XX/XXXX and are reporting me 30 days late. They did not call, mail, or email me on a payment issue and their website showed that I was on time in XX/XX/XXXX. I notified Nordstrom and they are refusing to correct the situation and report the proper information to the credit bureaus.

Consumer Complaint: SOMEONE ORDERED A NEW TD BANK CREDIT CARD AND TRIED TO SEND It TO ANY OTHER ADDRESS THAT WAS NOT MINE. ONCE THE CARD WAS CANCELLED I WASNT ABLE TO SEE It ON MY ONLINE PROFILE ANYMORE TO MAKE SIMPLE TRANSFER PAYMENTS AND I WSNT NOTIFIED. I HAVE HAD THE CARD OPEN SINCE XX/XX/2016 AND NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT. I HAD TO GO INTO THE TD BANK BRANCH TO VERIFY MY ID AND THEY ORDERED ANOTHER REPLACEMENT CARD AND CHANGED/VERIFIED MY INFORMATION. I DIDNT HAVE A CARD AND WASNT ABLE TO USE FOR 2 MONTHS. I PULLED MY CREDIT TODAY AND ITS SHOWING UP AS A LATE PAYMENT BUT I HAD ALREADY MADE A PAYMENT AT THE BRANCH OFFICE AND THEY TOLD ME It WOULDNT SHOW UP AS LATE BECAUSE THEY DIDNT HAVE THE RIGHT ADDRESS ON FILE TO SEND THE BILLING AND THE OTHER CARD WAS ISSUED OUT OF FRAUD. ALSO BECAUSE OF ALL THE WRONG INFORMATION AND CONFUSION.
