Consumer Complaint: I purchased a XXXX XXXX a XX/XX/XXXX from their. The promotion was for 12 months deferred interest - throughTD Bank. I received the product which came with 1 year free of the i-fit membership. I made 11 payments for the total amount {$1100.00} and showed a no balance on XX/XX/XXXX. I did not receive a XX/XX/XXXX statement. When I received the XX/XX/XXXX statement it showed new purchase with the titel " PURCHASE XXXX FINANCING '' for {$410.00}. I thought this was for the deferred interest. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and told the TD finance rep of the charge. They stay I had to file a dispute online. I filed a dispute on line on XX/XX/XXXX. I received the XX/XX/XXXX bill and the charge is still on there plus a late fee of {$29.00}. While researching the documents for my CFPB complaint, I did discover XXXX emails in XX/XX/XXXX. The first one stated that the i-fit membership was extended for another year. It did not say how much it would cost. There was a second email with and invoice that showed {$410.00}. Most subscription services that auto renew send an email with a charge amount and pending renew day. The first email " extended '' suggest this is and extension of the free trial, not the renewal of the membership at its normal price available to be financed for 12 months.

Consumer Complaint: When I spoke to the merchant they said they only received a {$200.00} dispute from TD bank and I disputed {$800.00} or {$850.00} I believe! So TD bank did absolutely nothing to get my money back, the merchant even knows that these charges were duplicated! This is ridiculous TD bank just removed {$650.00} from my bank account no explanation no nothing just a provisional reversal! This is insane and I am completely sick to my stomach that they would take my money without even trying to get it back! I know I am tired of fighting for my money that I know was an error on behalf of the merchant! What is mine is mine and I am extremely upset and disappointed that TD bank would not rectify this as they shouldve have. The merchant stated that they did not send TD bank anything because they never received my dispute for the {$650.00} at all! This is legal robbery and I am tired of going through this with and for my money!

Consumer Complaint: I have held accounts with TD Bank in the past subsequently, I closed the accounts, and fyi I would like to add that my daughter is still due monies based on their " XXXX XXXX '' I recently purchased furniture with a company I trust, and depended on the associates to the financial institution funding. I was unaware that this was a TD financial account ( I never would have agreed ) However, I am now in a receipt of an account evaluation, this was opened on XX/XX/XXXX and, I opened the account in XX/XX/XXXX and now seriously delinquent. I have never missed a payment and pay above the minimum payment. I was late by 2 days due to the fact that they do not receive electronic payment and request checks. I am without upset and was recently and abruptly dismissed by the representative that I spoke with after the notice. I am not " seriously delinquent '' and I am appauld by a bank that advertises that they are there for you or even offer forgiveness in Publically/televised advertised adds. I am unsettled by this recent correspondence

Consumer Complaint: TD Bank has serviced my mortgage since XXXX of 2021. Unfortunately, TD tries to get mortgage customers to open savings, checking, or other accounts by making it extremely difficult to make payments online ( or access items like tax forms ) if you only have a mortgage account. In fact, I couldn't even establish an online login without help from TD customer service ( the website wouldn't set up a mortgage account login without another TD account ). Apparently, if you have a TD savings or checking account, you can easily make your mortgage payment from your TD account or an outside account. If you only have a mortgage account though, you need to enter all of your information each month : checking account number, routing number, email, etc. To make even tougher, the website won't let you paste in your checking account number. You have to type it out twice each and every month. As a TD mortgage customer, I should be able to make online payment easily. It's wrong that TD tries to nudge you into opening other accounts by making the process difficult for mortgage-only customers. To me, this seems as bad as what XXXX XXXX used to do in making customers open multiple accounts. This is just another form of that, and it's shameful.

My income is difficult to explain since I now collect social security & have inherited monies from both my father & my very wealthy aunt ( I'm in the process of having monies placed in trust accts & managed by others more capable then me! ). It does give me a steady monthly stipend that adds to my Social Security & shouldn't run out. I keep finding more & more derogatory comments on my credit reports? Tonight claims a late payment for a target credit card from XXXX. I've had only one Target credit card & it's totally up to date! I used it today! Consumer Complaint: Lets be clear that I've NEVER been late to submit ANY payments to this company, Now comes this month they stated that my payment did NOT go through and there for I was under collection etc... I called and they did NOT provide me with any explanation as to why my payment didnt go through instead of trying to figure why it didn't go through or what the problem was, all they did was rush me to make a payment. I'm certain they sent me to there collection department. I was so upset, because i've been utterly careful to pay EVERYTHING on time and if you check my credit report you can see that I have paid everything on time.. so after figuring out that my monthly payment hadn ; t gone thru I had to call for answers, but I also took action and setup a payment, I made a payment from my XXXX to make FULL payment of the entire account over {$1200.00} .. the target card collections department phone operator which was the one I was talking to, rush me to instead of making the payment I had setup with the website to make a phone payment with her, I told her that I didn't want any bad reporting on my account to the credit bureaus since I didn't do anything wrong, and they didn't even provide me with a reason as to why my payment didn't go trough. The lady on the phone, Target Card Collections person assured me everything was fine so long I made my payment with her, so she cancelled my payment I had made on the website and took my information and ran it i guess to assure I had enough funds in my checking account which I do, during all this time and as of now I have over {$29000.00} on my checking account. Now, she gave me my confirmation number : ( XXXX )... I've been waiting for my account to drop to zero which it had the day after payment, but my credit avail was XXXX out of {$1300.00} my credit line. I log in today at 3 am XX/XX/22 and I see that it says that my account is PAST DUE, I have return payment OF {$29.00} i dont even know if this is from the payment the lady took over phone or the previous one I dont know.. But the point is that I dont know what the Target collection lady did on the phone, she cancelled my payment took a new payment and now im back to this again, I care too much about my credit. I was willing to pay me entire balance.. and they continue to have issues with my account. I want them to fix there issues and to assure me that my account will not be " LATE '' or have in any way and negative issues reported as I've done NOTHING wrong. I have double checked and tripled checked account numbers routing numbers balances on my checking and I called XXXX XXXX to see if they had declined something and they didnt. what is going on here?? why can't I pay my bill, why if I've never had any issues paying my account, now all of sudden you have issues with me paying minimum payment or the entire payment. This is NOT acceptable, they do NOT want us to pay at the store nothing works here? what can i do, they " Target Card Services '' has not been able to help me or fix any of my issues. I'm no deadbeat, I want to pay them in full, I dont want any negative reporting of my account. more so since I have done NOTHING wrong. You can even see that I made a payment on my account snapshot, it shows it posted you guys have either computer issues on your payment system or your collections operator made mistakes when dealing with my account.
