Consumer Complaint: XXXX discovered a PayPal credit card had been opened using my maiden name ( which I have not used since XXXX ) and used an old address I haven't lived at for at least 20 years fraudulently. I immediately contacted PayPal and they sent me forms to complete. At that time they also updated the account to include my correct address and last name so they could get the forms to me. I returned the forms to them but continued to get collection calls. I called them again and they told me I had to file a police report and send them that info, which I did, several times. My numerous attempts to get this account off my credit reports all come back to them saying it's an accurate account. This is preventing me from getting a good rate on a mortgage. I've been working very hard to improve my credit for the past 7 years and would not have opened this account in the first place. It seems like whomever opened the account made payments on it at some point making it look like a legit account. PayPal /sync bank is unable to find any signed credit application from me further proving this was opened fraudulently! Please help!

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 i paid Synchrony bank collections a settlement in the amount of {$860.00} so satisfy my loan for a sleep number bed and close the account. Per bank statement the balance was removed 0n or about XX/XX/2022. on XX/XX/2022 I spoke again with the bank in reference to why they where still reporting a negative balance and they responded they do not have a settlement for this account. On XX/XX/2022 i again called Synchrony bank to attempt to resolve this issue, but they again are un willing to assist and bounce between recovery and customer service.

Consumer Complaint: I was added as an authorized user on this JCPenney credit card on XX/XX/2022. I was told it would take 1-2 statement periods for the account to reflect on my credit report. I have spent hours on the phone with JCPenneys as well as XXXX. This account is not showing on any of my 3 credit reports. I was told that this has happened in the past and they dont have a resolution other than to close my account and re open a new one after several months. This is inaccurate reporting and is against the law. My information needs to be accurately reported or I will seek legal advice against JCPenney ( synchrony Bank ).

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XX/XX/2022 for {$170.00}. On XXXX XXXX XXXX was reported to Synchrony Bank whereby a dispute was initiated this occurred created 2 times. They were informed the merchant was a scam and that the product was not delivered. The tracking number that the merchant supplied was a real number however according to the USPS postmaster in XXXX, IL the tracking number supplied belonged to another merchant and another persons name & delivery address and they sent me proof literally a picture of the item delivered showing the tracking number, another merchants name and another persons name & address of delivery. I uploaded this picture for the dispute for there records Both XXXX Synchrony bank favored with the merchant stating items were delivered. I'm in shock I provided undeniable proof to Synchrony bank of the scam with a XXXX picture from USPS.. The amount was for {$170.00}
