Consumer Complaint: My son, who has had a XXXX and lives in a group home, applied and was given a credit card for Synchrony Bank. I did not know about this credit card, and since I am his guardian, I am left trying to deal with Synchrony Bank. They keep harassing me, and him. I sent them documentation, but they are still texting him and calling him. I just got another bill for {$180.00}. ( the headphones he bought only cost {$70.00} ). I was told by an attorney that I do not have to pay the bill. I keep trying to write to them, but they keep sending statements and increasing the amount that they want from us.

Consumer Complaint: T J Maxx I received a response from a previous complaint ( CFPB Case # XXXX ) from XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX with Synchrony Bank dated XX/XX/2022 stating that this account was placed with XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022. I called XXXX XXXX several times and there wasn't an answer or ability to leave a voicemail. Sometimes, I would just get a busy signal. I received absolutely no correspondence from XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/2022, I sent an email to XXXX XXXX online ( XXXX ) regarding this account. No response. On XX/XX/2022, I called XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) as recommended on the letter from XXXX XXXX. I spoke with XXXX and she stated there was a " cease and assist '' on the account and that was the reason there was no contact. I did not tell them to do that. I called them to arrange a " settlement '' via making payments until the account is paid in full. They said the account was inactive and sold to XXXX (? ) on XX/XX/2022. I do not feel this is fair because I tried to reach places of contact. I didn't know it had been placed with XXXX until XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX

Several charges on Lowes account amounting to XXXX Credit card came to my address with his name on it. XXXX XXXX changed my address at the post office system and had my mail routed to his address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX WI XXXX I have a email from the Postal inspector of XXXX stating the issue of the fraudulent address and a phone transcript. He stolen my XXXX account. Hes changed my XXXX so much that Im completely locked out of that account all together. Proof of that. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX he ordered my drivers license with the stolen credit card he open from XXXX card. XX/XX/XXXX {$71.00} at XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX at XXXX he tried ordering food from XXXX with my XXXX XXXX The list goes on with several different attempts to open accounts. XXXX XXXX tries to log in for my XXXX mail account XX/XX/XXXX XXXX attempts. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX attempts XX/XX/XXXX XXXX attempt and XX/XX/XXXX XXXX attempts. Changed XXXX password change XXXX XXXX my XXXX account as well. I have several email stating someone on Wisconsin computer trying to get into my accounts. Recent activity was on XX/XX/XXXX changed my phone number on my credit report XXXX to phone number XXXX and XXXX to XXXX. Old email address is XXXX. XXXX XXXX is making several attempts to hack my emails account as well. He does it at night when Im sleep and notifications wake me all through the night. Friday XX/XX/XXXX tried logging in to get my Tax information 5 attempts. On XX/XX/XXXX he called Lowes again according to records trying to get access to my Lowes account again. XXXX XXXX XXXX A.M. hes attempting to get into a Venmo account. This has been going on since XXXX of 2021. There is more attempts that are not listed here. XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX calls to tell me that he has tried to open a Walmart XXXX XXXX card in my name but shut it down. XXXX XXXX is resilient and will not stop. This has really become a burden and Ive not been able to function because of this situation. Ive been sick with anxiety ever since this has been happening. Included in this lawsuit is for emotional distress.

Consumer Complaint: About XXXX yr ago I had XXXX XXXX take over and pay my bills. I have made every payment but one ( due to moving back to Ohio from Texas ). I was also on a reduced payment d/t Covid and a XXXX XXXX, but continued to make payments every month. I had both a Walmart accout ( they sold the account to XXXX XXXXXXXX, who sold the account to Synchrony Bank, ( account ending in. # XXXX, ) XXXX XXXX has the account listed as Walmart/XXXX XXXX, but all payments are made to Synchrony Bank and are up to regular agreed upon amount. Synchrony bank is also being paid for account ending XXXX listed as Synchrony bank/ Sams and every month the bill has been paid ( proof to follow. When I went with XXXX XXXX the Walmart and Sams account together equaled more than {$7500.00}. And Im down to about {$2000.00} for both accounts, proof to follow. So synchrony bank has listed both accounts as written off. I have contacted them several times and they have told me because I had to make reduced payments they can show it as written off I spoke with XXXX last week. I told him it was false reporting and he said I was wrong. Im a XXXX yo XXXX and have no record of late payments, BUT WAS DENIED CREDIT D/T Synchrony refusal to show the account as being paid on. Now. I have contacted XXXX and they refuse to fix this error and now I cant contact them at all. ( when I call a phone message comes on and asked me for my information which I give and it tells me its incorrect and cuts the phone off. Im printing them. They sent me a copy of the credit report, but refused to upgrade my income, or return dress this problem with synchrony. Please help me fix this.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX closed account on XX/XX/2022 due to a {$40.00} returned payment. This payment was re-tried after the account was closed, and successfully debited but the creditor refuses to change the account status. Creditor stated an earlier returned payment from XX/XX/2022, a period in which I was changing bank accounts. This payment was promptly corrected, for a different amount, as was the {$40.00} amount cited in the letter sent by a " corporate specialist '', which cited an obscure clause of terms of services that I have never seen in any documentation provided by the company. The same person cited a clause about " default '' when referring to " returned payments ''. These two are not the same things. I have never default on this or any credit account and never have I missed a payment. Reported behavior to the XXXX XXXX XXXX and will spread the word about their predatory business practices.
