Consumer Complaint: I applied for assistance from XXXX XXXX XXXX and notified my mortgage company. While waiting for approval I asked the mortgage company for more time while waiting. The mortgage company sent a letter saying they would apply for a forbearance. After receiving the funds from Mortgage Relief the mortgage is now telling me that the forbearance is a program that puts my outstanding payments on the end of my loan and now I am considered current and sent the funds back to Mortgage Relief. I was never told that a forbearance would bring me current because that would automatically disqualify me from the Mortgage Relief program. I made several phone calls to the mortgage company to keep them informed of my progress.

Consumer Complaint: My loan is with Select portfolio service.I fell behind on my mortgage at the begging of the year. in XXXX i had the money to pay the back payments so I called in and did so. after I made the 3 payments I was informed that the payments I made where to be credited words accelerated interest and would not count as payments therefor I was still considered in default. I applied for mortgage resistance with SPS hoping they would work with me. After wasting my time for months they denied me assistance but offered to honor the original note and send me a reinstatement quote with the accelerated interest removed. when I received the quote it still had the accelerated amounts on there. I requested a new quote, it came back at a lower amount that was still higher then expected I asked for an itemization of the amount and received no answer back for many weeks. The whole time my property was moving through the foreclosure process. When I received a notice of sale date I continually called trying to get an itemized reinstatement and received no answer. when I finally got someone to send me a quote it was once again the amount reflecting the accelerated interest and was not itemized. I have been going back and forth for weeks and still have not received the correct and itemized quote. Now mt sale date is a week away and they have said I will have the correct quote any day now. I feel as if their process is designed to waste time and move me into a worse position closer to the foreclosure date. I have tried ot contact the foreclosure attorney and have not received a call back. I have a willingness to pay this loan and I am unable to get a straight answer as to how much to pay or able to discuss this problem with a decision maker. I have run out of people to talk to over there and I still do not have an itemized reinstatement figure. I am willing and able to pay the missed payments I would like to but the penalties at the end or have them spread out over time but I cant do anything without a figure to work from.

How my {$3600.00} payment on XX/XX/XXXX to chase was applied by SPS along with {$1400.00} escrow balance at the time. 2. All statements have other charges and fees. I Want a detailed reason for each of the fees from {$120.00} upward to {$200.00} what they are for? AND What is today 's total for those fees? 3. I Want a detailed reason why partial payments and unapplied monies continue monthly for years. Where is the money sitting and why is it not fully applied? 4. I Want a detailed reason and know where this money sat for months from check # XXXX for {$1400.00} from XX/XX/XXXX documented as escrow only. SPS ADMITTED THE ERROR and refused to apply the monies to escrow from the date of the check as discussed with a representative that it would be. After SPS applied it, who knows where! I want to know! At the same time SPS ran 6 escrow analysis and never credited my escrow account but changed my monthly payments each time. 5. XX/XX/XXXX my monthly payment was made of {$960.00} with a second payment XX/XX/XXXX of {$2900.00}. I Want a detailed explanation where this money was applied. 6. I Want a detailed explanation of expenses pd by servicer and property fee FOR WHAT? Nobody has ever knocked on my door from anywhere related to SPS yet fees continue.

Consumer Complaint: Select Portfolio Servicing company keeps raising our house payment claiming escrow shortage when there should not be. House payment has almost doubled since these crooks bought our mortgage. Have had to do loan modifications to be able to afford the payment but this time they keep asking for the same documents over and over. I've sent them everything they've asked for 5 or 6 times and they continue to ask for the same things. This is a predatory loan company doing illegal things to people with their escrow shortage scheme.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX I did an online escrow payment of XXXX to cover estimated shortage from pay off quote of XXXX which I was given XXXX on XXXX I did an online payment of XXXX towards the principal On XXXX I wired in a payment of XXXX which was the amount requested to pay off the loan On XXXX I wired in a payment of XXXX as requested from a supervisor named XXXX to cover the new escrow shortage. I have called numerous times to have this paid off in full and they refuse to apply the funds received to do this. I have spoken to numerous supervisors and a manager named XXXX XXXX. I was told to call the ombudsman dept and I spoke to XXXX who said to call back in 2 business for an update. I have been told something different at every call I make. This has been going on for weeks. They have a total of XXXX of my money yet refuse to pay off my house. They have now taken some of that money as of today and made 2 house payments for a total of XXXX and put XXXX in my escrow account, now saying I owe another {$2600.00} to pay off the house. All of the funds have been there but they refuse to pay off the house. I am also concerned this will show up on my credit report as a late payment.

Consumer Complaint: Due to the seriousness of XXXX 's XXXX XXXX, he will not be able to make any payment that is due on the XXXX until he returns home if that will happen. I know this has a serious impact on the repayment plan, but XXXX XXXX has a very serious XXXX XXXX. He is in serious condition and remains in the hospital for an indefinite period of time, he will not be home for the holiday and arrangements are being made for his final wishes. Please respect and do what he wants, he knows that the SPS payment is due now, but he needs to delay it until the end of the month or make two payments in XXXX, if possible. Because of the nature of his XXXX XXXX, he wants SPS to change the repayment plan beginning in XXXX. His condition is grave, and he may not be around to fulfill his obligation and need time for the doctors to do their work and not have XXXX XXXX be burdened because of a mortgage payment. His income has dropped considerably since he has been in the hospital due to medications and hospital stays which were not anticipated. Please work with XXXX while he is here, we may lose him at any time. XXXX still remains in the hospital, he is waiting for some kind of response from the emails, he is worried that you're going to pop on his doorstep ( he is not there ) and post a foreclosure notice. He is asking for some time and wishes that SPS could move the outstanding due payments to the end of the contract until he somewhat recovers ( he never will ) from XXXX XXXX XXXX. There is no cure for this, he is placed on a medication remedy only and that is what is keeping him alive. Sorry for the bad news, but it's a reality and he is trying to come up with a solution instead of lying there in bed suffering so, please work with him. Please stop any foreclosure proceedings, XXXX can not help the situation he is in, he can not believe SPS would take the house while he is suffering seriously with XXXX XXXX XXXX, the house will always be here, but XXXX may not survive this horrible XXXX. Please keep him in your prayers and please don't rush to a quick decision without any kind of notification on what you're going to do. We think you should move the outstanding balance to the end of the contract until XXXX XXXX hopefully gets better. Please note he is sacrificing his mortgage payment for his health, and he wants all of you at SPS to understand his situation. He is going to try to work with his credit union if he is able to pay at least one payment, we will not know until this probably next week, so please read the above and show some compassion because I am afraid, you're going to lose a good customer, would you rather have the house instead of XXXX XXXX
