Consumer Complaint: I pay late each month so a late fee is applied. I have paid mid month every month and included the late fee in my payment. The company is applying the extra I send for fees to principal. I have requested to have the payments reversed and applied correctly. The company states that unless I pay on time they will not apply my extra funds to the fees. I have never paid outside of the month due so there is no need to hold the funds to pay the payments/principal.

Consumer Complaint: My dispute is with Santander Consumer upon repossession of vehicle company refused to accept any of my payments I called around to see what I can do the company still refuse to accept any of my payments I asked the company for information on notice to sell vehicle or location to purchase repossession I was not provided with any of that information to recover my vehicle. I was not given a notice of reinstatement, no notice of sale or location of sale. I called them and still they refused. This is a violation of my rights how can you report to my credit bureau for me to pay for something that I did not have nor expect me to pay when no notices were received. I did not even have an opportunity to purchase my vehicle at auction no notices address or information were given to me. I would like this removed from my credit report for failure to accept my payments and failure to properly advise me of my rights and provide notices.

Consumer Complaint: I leased a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. At the end of the lease I decided to purchase the vehicle. I called Chrysler Capitol to find out how they wanted it handled. I was instructed to send a check. I asked if they needed a cashiers check, and was told no that was not necessary. They sent me a letter with the same instructions. I mailed a check ( thru UPS ) that was accepted XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX. My check was cashed on the same day XX/XX/XXXX. Chrysler Capitol is now telling me that they take 21 days to process. Then they mail it back. I asked if I could get it any faster, they said if I had a XXXX account number they could use that and it wood speed things up. I said I had a XXXX number, to which they replied they only use XXXX. Even if I had a number, it would still take 21 days before they could send it. I was also told that it took that long to get Chrysler Capitol off of the title. I did let them know that I live in California, and it is all electronic now. Chrysler Credit was aware of that, however they seem to have needed some kind of paper trail. So as of now, I sent a check for {$27000.00}, and they keep my money for a month before I can legally get my title. I have read my lease agreement, and all of the correspondence with Chrysler Capitol and this is stated nowhere.

Consumer Complaint: Santander is refusing to apply extra monies I include with my car payment to go towards the interest instead they subtract my car payment and principal amount which is {$330.00} to pay the interest even though I'm sending them {$400.00} which would take care of the entire principal and leave {$60.00} to go towards the interest. Instead they are holding back the {$60.00} and telling me that they can't use it for the interest only for the principal amount.
