Consumer Complaint: I got my most recent credit score on XX/XX/2019. I have been trying to get my credit back on the right direction. i cosigned for a friend and they turned the car back in to the dealership and stopped making payments. This account is still reporting on my credit and affecting me from getting the house i want and the car i want. I made a mistake cosigning and now i have to suffer and not get the things i want in life. I asked that santanders remove this account because it is damaging my credit and they are reporting inaccurate payment history i sent a letter in the mail on XX/XX/2019 and never got a response. I ask that this account please get removed from my credit file i cant qualify for a car to get my children to school and get my self back and forth to work.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2016 I obtained a leased vehicle from XXXX XXXX for a XXXX XXXX XXXX and I was told that I had unlimited mileage at the end of my lease that was paid off. I then in turned got truck and there was no financial advice on getting into this vehicle and now this has left me with a {$20000.00} mileage overage which has damaged my credit. bringing my credit score down from a XXXX to low 500 's. I am now in distress over this. I have never been late on any payments my credit to shambles. I called the company Chrysler Financial and complained to them as well as the Dealership. The salesmen told me it's on you now. This is very frustrating, I am suffering financially now due to this event. I also want them to reimburse for the interest charges as well as the damages to my character. My credit is in shambles.

Consumer Complaint: This will be second attempt to try to resolve my matter with Santander Consumer USA. They responded to me that they would be correcting the miss information within my credit report. They continue to report a late payment on my account when numerous times I was told would not be marked as late. Car was traded in back in XXXX. They removed late payment in XX/XX/XXXX, then readded back on XX/XX/XXXX. It not being updated in their system so each month reports late payment. Am at the point of taking legal action. I spoke to credit company and they advised me they keep reporting late payment.

Consumer Complaint: I have been in communication with Santander Consumer numberous of times via phone and have also written to them demanding that they show me where the balance of {$310.00} is coming from? Was it interest? was it other charges? Representatives on the phone are only assuming it is interest and upon digging for more, they don't know where the balance is coming from after my insurance and gap paid off my auto loan, the balance was only {$23.00} in which I paid in XXXX but somehow a new balance came up and no matter how many times I ask and demand that they tell me where balance came from, they are unable to tell me or provide an itemized statement. After many months of Santander defaulting my credit and finally charging off my account. I argued but was exhausted and so I paid off the {$310.00} not knowing my rights to receive an itemized bill and not knowing that I can still dispute it. Please help. I have contacted them in several occasions and have mailed letters. On the phone they say they are unable to contact their accounting department nor give me a phone number or address to reach them.

Consumer Complaint: I have an auto loan with Chrysler Capital. Due to job loss, my payments are usually made after the late fee date. I completely understand this. When I have made my payments, I have paid extra to cover this fee of {$15.00}. I noticed that my payment due balance keeps going up with my paying usually an extra {$50.00} per month. I check my transaction history and no money have been applied to the late fees. I do not have an option to allocate the payment when I make it online. I called XX/XX/19 and spoke w a manager and asked for the money to be allocated towards the late fees. I was told there was no way to re-allocate the money. I have to make the payment then I can go back and make the late fees. I feel that the late fee would become part of that payment and extra money being paid should be allocated to that late fee.

Santander sent me a letter stating that my lien was satisfied. When I carried this letter to the Virginia DMV in XXXX to get my title, I was informed that the car had a lien in Tennessee held by XXXX XXXX so Virginia could not issue a title.
