Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, & XX/XX/XXXX My credit was pulled by Santander Consumer USA without my authorization. I've never given anybody the authority to send my information to Santander. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted XXXX regarding this issue, and i was told i needed to have Santander send them a letter addressing the issue. When i contacted Santander ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I was informed that because I am not a member of theirs, they will not send the letter to XXXX. When I asked why my credit was pulled THREE times in the first place, the representative said she didn't know which was highly concerning. I am now stuck between a rock and a hard place as Santander is refusing to send a letter of deletion to XXXX, or ANY credit bureaus these fraudulent inquires have been sent to. XXXX told me to contact consumer finance regarding this issue, so here I am. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: Santander Bank Auto Loan has been charging outrageous interest rate and have me signed in the middle of the pandemic agreements to extend their hicking of interest to have my loan impossible to pay. I have been struggling to make payments to keep a car that is was very expensive in the first place with a 23 % interest which is a robbery to people. I wanted to get this loan done and I have only XXXX borrowed to pay for this loan because they keek hicking up interest and robbing me blind. My car worth XXXX and it has a mileage of XXXX breakings all the time. I need them to meet me halfway and let me pay off the car for XXXX.

After paying for years, in XXXX Santander indicated that I still owed approximately {$8000.00} on the XXXX XXXX. My last payment to Santander was XX/XX/XXXX. I do believe at that time, I requested an audit of my account, because I was still paying for a vehicle 10 years later. I did not receive any additional information from Santander until XX/XX/XXXX, when they reposed the vehicle and stated that I owe them approximately {$10000.00} on the XXXX. Consumer Complaint: Santander Consumer USA- PLEASE DELETE After repossession of my vehicle in XXXX of XXXX. There was a 33 states predatory lending class action settlement against Santander Consumer USA. Where Santander agreed to relief my debt. Santander just settled the case last year XXXX. According to the agreement my debt is to be forgiven and the account status updated to a positive. Because of what they agreed to in the settlement this has now became a violation and needs to be corrected within 30 days of receipt of this complaint.. I have reached out to Santander Consumer USA to dispute this matter and they still have not removed this from my credit.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I filed a complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX about how they are discriminating against low credit users and charging them higher interest putting their loans in default and then I also ran across an article from the CFPB regarding their credit reporting. They reported me late twice after catching up with my payments lying saying i was XXXX days late even though I was current on my payments. I filed with XXXX to get it disputed but it took a hit in my credit report and i am trying to repair my credit report to get out of a loan that i will never be able to pay off due to their practices of charging low credit users 28 % interest. i am already paying XXXX dollars more than what the car is actually worth! whats the point of having a monthly payment of 90 % of it goes to interest and none of it goes to the premium. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE STOPPED

They are reporting it as XXXX charge-offs and transferred to another lender. This is greatly effecting my credit score which I have been trying very hard to re-establish. Consumer Complaint: My car was totaled in an accident in XXXX. My car was financed through a company called Santander Consumer USA. The insurance company paid Santander but the remaining balance was never written off. I called Santander several times over serveral years inquiring about the balance remaining on my account and was told that it would be and should have been written off after receiving the insurance payment. The account was charged off instead because of the age of the account. I checked my credit report and found out that someone from Santander is sending charge offs for this account every month. There were 62 charge offs and 63 charge offs the last time I checked my credit report. I only had one account with this company and there are now 63 charge offs for this one account. I am being harassed by this company. The credit bureaus show this account as closed with a balance of {$8500.00}.
