Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, LVNV Funding LLC added a derogatory mark on my credit report per XXXX. Upon further research, this account was transferred/sold to multiple companies. I am not responsible for this account. I have attempted to dispute this information numerous times with all credit bureaus as an attempt to receive correspondence from the debtor with more information. The debtors creditor did not verify this collection. Also, there was NO written form of communication, contract, or signature for this accused debt at all. A bill without a signature does not validate the debt and anybody can send a bill and say that it belongs to me. According to the FCRA, LVNV Funding LLC has violated my rights as a consumer and I am requesting legal action to remove this account immediately

Consumer Complaint: I had an identity theft issue a few years ago. I have alerts on all my credit report and have had freezes on my credit reports. This has been an ongoing nightmare. Someone opened an account with XXXX XXXX through my name. I contacted them years and going forward that this is an identity theft issue and the charges are unauthorized. They have refused to remove from my credit report on top of doubling the debt with fees and interest. The account is now in collections under the second collection agency to try to harass me for this debt that is not mine. The company that now has the debt is LVNV FUNDING LLC C/O RESURGENT CAPITAL SERVICES XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, SC XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX. They have called, sent letter and now keep ruining my credit with their collection account. I need this account removed as per the fair credit reporting act, they are not allowed to report inaccurate accounts that have been reported to FTC and police as identity theft

It went into collection, which I started paying on the account since I received the collection notice. its been 2 years and my account has been sold 3 or 4 times without notice. I made a payment on XX/XX/2020 and on monday XXXX I received a notice that Resurgent capital has the account. XXXX was the first collection agency that had my account where I was making payments monthly. then XXXX XXXX XXXX had it next where I was making biweekly payments. When I email XXXX they say Resurgent capital has my account even though I was making payments to the other two collection agency. I feel like XXXX is doing something that is not correct. If I am making payments why is my account constantaly being sold all the time.especially when I am making payments. I dont even get a notice even though they are taking the money

Consumer Complaint: This company continues to fail to validate the SCRA ( Serviceman Relief Act ) which entitles the serviceman to receive 6 % rate regardless if they bought the account from a prior creditor as long as the account was open prior to entering the service. The process requires the rate percentage to be amended to the amount and then provide the consumer with the final amount to pay off their amount. I have called several times, dispute the account on my credit bureau, and they still refuse to warrant the relief that I have the right to have. I inform them JAG validates this relief and those who do not follow it are clearly violating the serviceman 's right! This company tried to sale my account yet to another collector that threaten to take legal action and once advise to SCRA and dispute stated that they need to handle the situation and they will no longer persist. I reached out to them several times t warrant my relief and pay off the deft, but all they try to do is give me some sort of payment arrangement, but refuse to truly validate SCRA. Previously they pass on this account to yet another collection company, but they had no problem to warrant the relief percentage, but when I called back to payoff the agreement they account went back to LVNV FUNDING LLC due to my dispute through the credit bureau. As I called LVNV FUNDING LLC again they continue to refuse to validate the relief. I inform them I have spoken to an attorney at JAG and they have advise that the relief should be validated.
