Consumer Complaint: This account was opened fraudulently. I was trying to apply for an apartment when I got denied because of a collection on my account I was unaware of and thats how this account was brought to my attention. I know nothing of this account and Im on the verge of being homeless because I cant get approved anywhere. I tried disputing this account but it comes back as account accurate. Its disgusting how a system can determine whether or not an account is yours without getting the facts. Its not my account and this is ruining my life. This is not the first account that was opened fraudulently and I was able to get that removed from my report. I will attach the account that was removed because of fraud.

Consumer Complaint: LVNV Funding is attempting to take me to the magistrate in retaliation for having their account removed from two of the big three credit reporting bureau. After investigating a dispute both XXXX and XXXX requested records and verification of a debt LVNV bought from XXXX XXXX. LVNV was unable to provide proof and the debt was removed from those reports. LVNV is now suing me in retaliation. The XXXX XXXX account is over 9 years old and legally can not be collected on.

Consumer Complaint: After contacting XXXX I in the customer care department regarding the inaccurate and incorrect information that XXXX XXXX is reporting on my credit report, I received a letter from XXXX stating that this account is reporting accurately. This claim of accuracy is false and XXXX failed to do a reasonable investigation regarding the accuracy of this account. List are the inaccuracies that are still on my XXXX credit report : 1. The High balance is incorrect. 2.The last payment shows XX/XX/XXXX but my payment history shows my last payment to be on XX/XX/XXXX. 3. There is a charge off only after a 60 day late in my payment history. 4. The remarks shows paid in full, is the accurate? 5. There is no date of last activity. 6. The close date is inaccurate. 7. The account number is inaccurate. XXXX report : 1. Shows no payment history, but XXXX do. 2.The Delinquency First Reported date has been re-aged several times lastly to XX/XX/XXXX. How is this account reporting accurately to the CRA 's as claimed by XXXX in customer care?

Consumer Complaint: This company continues to call for a debt I have no knowledge of, nor is valid. I advised several very aggressive phone collectors to send me a letter stating specifically what is owed and who the original creditor is and validation of this alleged debt. They state they don't send letters and several just hung up. They also asked me to confirm my information, and try to verify the last four digits of my social security number and date of birth. Any attempt to collect a debt without validating it violates the FDCPA. This company has repeatedly sent mail communications indicating that they are acting on a date for another creditor threatening that it may be placed with a law firm. Further, this company does not have permission to contact me, they don't have my permission to have any information I have asked them repeatedly to cease all communication and to only contact me by mail. I ask there address and they wont give that information, I asked to speak to a supervisor and they hang up. They even hang up as soon as I try to ask a question. Regardless of whether or not you properly validate this debt, all communications concerning this alleged debt shall forever cease and should be removed from my consumer report pursuant to 15 USC 1681a ( 2 ) ( B ).

The family member was an authorized user and was in possession of both cards as there address was used for the account. I never authorized for my Name / social / credit be used to open this account. Now I have LVNV Funding LLC reporting debt of XXXX for such account on my credit report as a collection.
