Consumer Complaint: PORTFOLIO has failed to VALIDATE this debt they only send paper statements under FDCPA thats violating my rights as a consumer. They are also attempting to collect a debt that is past the statue of limitation. They have not provided me with the original contract bearing my wet signature. I have no contract with PORTFOLIO. I have the right to privacy. I never gave consent to report this account on my consumer report. This account needs to be removed/ deleted/ blocked from my consumer report. You told me to contact this company and I have done so. FDCPA 809b requires this to be deleted until they validate. I have requested validation and they have not produced it. Delete this now. Please produce the contract used to verify this account because I have none with them and the information you have is inaccurate. I have also filed and Identity theft report and this account is included. Its been over 4 business days and this account still hasnt been blocked under FCRA 605B 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2

Consumer Complaint: For sometime, I was a victim of domestic abuse by my now ex husband. During this tragic period of life I discovered that hed stolen my SS card and drivers license from my wallet. From that point the perpetrator applied for mortgage loan applications in my name as well as Credit card loans, in addition to filing income tax returns with out my consent. These incidents have been reported to the Federal Trade Commission, IRS, and all three Credit Bureau agencies. This individual has no respect for anything and will continue these vicious, illegal attacks until legal action has been taken against him.

Consumer Complaint: I recently pulled my credit report, on XXXX XXXX and I noticed some errors on my account that was totally inaccurate. I then sent dispute letters to all three credit bureaus. XXXX, XXXX and XXXX on XXXX XXXX and every 30 days up until present XXXX. I asked all three bureaus motioned to please verify and validate the accounts in question and they sent them back as verified. I know they have not done the verification process because the errors still remain on my credit report. There are 2 collection accounts reporting as OPEN and LATE 120 DAYS but it's a COLLECTION account This is a violation of ( 15 ) U.S. code 168i ( 5 ) please assist in this matter. There are other accounts in violation as well. Can someone please assist me with this matter Thank you.

XXXX XXXX reports lawsuit with XXXX State Multistate Lawsuit with XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX notes sold the Auto loan in XX/XX/XXXX to PORTFOLIO RECOVERY ASSOCIATES. XXXX State ETitle DMV held a lien due to contested unpaid child support to a XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Paid off the title ). I responded by email to PORTFOLIO RECOVERY ASSOCIATES employee that the XXXX XXXX XXXX is paid off and must be released. I sent a copy of Paid debt from the XXXX Multistate Auto Settlement with XXXX XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, PORTFOLIO RECOVERY ASSOCIATES.served certified mail forwarded from the previous address XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX to address new address to serve a lawsuit. I was served again by forwarded certified mail that my paid-off XXXX XXXX XXXX repossessed by PORTFOLIO RECOVERY ASSOCIATES was auctioned off and that there was {$38000.00} debt from the original auto debt paid off {$18000.00}, which is triple the debt for an auto loan that is paid off. XXXX reports debt as paid off Charged off settled.

Consumer Complaint: This account is has been showing on my consumer credit reports as a charge-off for 7 years plus. Ive been trying to dispute this issue for 2 years now. It is illegal to furnish income on a consumer report. A charge-off, according to the IRS, is income and you must file a 1099-C. They can't charge it off then report it to IRS. Furthermore, ( XXXX XXXX ) is committing tax fraud. As it stands, I have not received a copy of this form. My rights as a consumer are protected under Chapter 41 Title 15 USC 1601 highlights the consumer 's informed use of credit. At the time that I entered this consumer credit transaction, I was uninformed and I did not understand as the information was not clear and conspicuous. The agreement is null and void due to my lack of understanding because of your corporations unfair, deceptive, and misleadingpractices.
