Consumer Complaint: I'm reaching out as there was {$37000.00} taken from my Account by PayPal after I was promised my funds back after the 180 day hold Firstly my Account was put on a rolling reserve due to an increase in claim backs due to the significant delays for shipping caused by COVID Following this my Account was suddenly closed and funds were put on a 180 day hold without any information as to why this was done To my surprise after looking into it, I found this was a common issue and something PayPal has been doing for a while without any explanation I sent several emails to PayPal to find out why this hold was put in place but never received a response I was patient and waited the 180 which just ended today and to my surprise when I re opened my Account and the {$37.00}, XXXX was removed from my Account by PayPal. There was not a single email sent to me infrom me this has happened, let alone why! I called PayPal as quick as I could to be told by Paypal staff that I breached the Policies because I was selling drugs and cigarettes and PayPal has taken the {$37000.00} as compensation. " I had no need to be informed as I breached their policies '' and there was no allowance for any clarification on my end There has never been a trade of any of these types of products and I made it very clear what I was selling through PayPal with several conversations with their staff and through the initial application process where I provided my webiste which displayed the products and explained the nature of the products They classified the products we sold which were 'XXXX XXXX XXXX ' with cigarettes and drugs and thought they could just take the money I had in the Account under their simple answer of " you breached our policies '' I want to do everything in my power to have my money returned as just taking all my money without any indication, reasoning or any form of communication at all is absolutely wrong I really hope you 's can help me with this Thanks

Consumer Complaint: I keep trying to pay my bill online but PayPal refused to help me fix my account issue I try to pay using my checking account that I have always used for the last 10 years but since COVID started Im not able to make any payments unless I call which is incredibly frustrating and is illegal. I will make my accounts current if they allow me to pay online not call it in wasting loads of my time. Ref ID XXXX was issues for XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX and Ref ID XXXX was issues for XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX. I have {$1400.00} in XXXX and {$2100.00} in XXXX which totals to {$3600.00}. This is a large amount of money being withheld from me. Week of XX/XX/XXXX, I called PayPal customer service about why my accounts were permanently limited and why my money is being with held from me. The representatives response was that they have no obligation to disclose why my accounts are being permanently limited and my why my money is being withheld from me. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent PayPal a letter requesting why my accounts were permanently limited and why my money is being withheld from me. On XX/XX/XXXX, PayPal responded saying that my accounts were reported to be involved in possible fraudulent or high risk behavior. I must want 180 days from the limitation to withdraw my money. On XX/XX/XXXX, the {$1400.00} in XXXX transaction ID XXXX and {$2100.00} in XXXX transaction ID XXXX which totals to {$3600.00} was transferred to PayPal citing PayPal 's damages caused by acceptable use policy violation.

Consumer Complaint: My agency send me my salary in paypal for almost 5months now and last month XX/XX/2021 i was expecting that i get my salary again but when i checked my balance i have XXXX balance in my paypal. That's why i checked my email and its say 's that my money is been hold. Then i provide the information they asked. Then they emailed me again after a week. And it's say that i can't no longer use my paypal account and wait for 180 days to get my money. But i don't have balance in my paypal account, nothings indicate there that i have money on hold in 180 days. I am not sure if this is some mistake that i assume it has to be. I have not been able to get help from them for a month and someone tell me that i could file a report here as i feel that they not doing there job properly and it's effecting me a great deal as i used Paypal to get my salary from my work. No charges had been made. However, XXXX refuses to close the account. -I learned Paypal had reported me to collections for an account opened with my name and address, but with a fake email address. A {$200.00} charge is owed on this account. Paypal refuses to close the account while it is under investigation with their collections company, XXXX XXXX. ** Strangely both XXXX XXXX and XXXX are based in the same zip code in XXXX XXXX, Minnesota. Is there some connection between these two entities related to these fraudulent activities? ** Could I please get your help with : - closing the fraudulent XXXX account before any charges are made - closing the fraudulent Paypal account before MORE charges are made and helping me deal with their suspicious collections agency which is in the same zip code as XXXX.
