Consumer Complaint: This is my second compliant on my mortgage company. Back in XXXX they sent me a letter stating they was adjusting my mortgage payment to XXXX due to a new escrow fee of XXXX. I put in a compliant at that time due my taxes for my house is less than XXXX a year. Per the result they sent me and your company they adjusted my mortgage to show the amount i need to pay which is in the letter i am sending over. But they have not change anything. Since then all of my payment has not been posted correctly. My escrow balance in XXXX was XXXX and now it is XXXX. So now it show my behind on my mortgage. I seriously think they are doing this on purpose due to my bankruptcy will be over in couple of month and I think they will try to foreclosure on my home. I just want my payment posted correctly and mortgage payment corrected. I am stress out over this. Sometime I feel like just giving up because they are not helpful over the phone at all. I just dont know what else to do at this time. The crazy part is that i complain the last time and they corrected in a letter to both of us but never really did anything. I dont even know I can even trust the outcome of this investigation. I truly feel they are trying to take my house.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen offered a loan modification, I made all XXXX trial payments and then they denied me Citing that I made the first loan payment late, I checked with multiple service representatives before making the payment about the date, Ocwen sent me a certified letter stating that it was not too late to take them up on their offer, I callled and made a payment, they started sending me statements reflecting each payment never mentioning there was a problem with the timeliness of my first payment. also they have told me XXXX of my payments was declined by my bank I have copies of my bank statements that reflect otherwise ocwen was scamming me all along, they had no intention of giving me a modification, they did n't deny me until all XXXX payments had been made and they refused to refund my money and refused to give me the modification they offered me. it was all done very strategically. I didnt originally receive the offer letter by mail instead they sent me a notice that i still had time to take them up on their offer, they wouldnt send me an offer letter by mail but let me download it online so i would send them the payments then after getting all the payments they denied me saying it was too late however all their correspondance with me started with a certified letter near or past the deadline.They were scamming me to be able to take my property though i qualified for an modification based on the following facts my loan originated in 2006 with XXXX then transferred to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I should have received an modofication from XXXX XXXX XXXX, they denied me then transferred me to ocwen, and they manipulated the situation to document due diligence. which is in fact a way of scammimng me out of my home.Please help!!!!!

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen loan servicing did not response to my qualified written request for verification of debt over the past year or so I sent countless letters asking for proof of Debt that I indeed Ocwen and should be paying Ocwen loan I loan was with XXXX then Litton loan in XXXX the loan was paid as agreed and then Ocwen out of the blue sent a coupon statement asking me to start paying them. I never got and letter stating the transfer or what happen to my last lender. I ask Ocwen to provide proof of debt and if they did n't have proof to cease collection but if Ocwen had proof I would continue to pay. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX Ocwen sent me a letter stating they would opt to stop collecting instead of showing me proof. XXXX XXXX I sent another letter asking them to stop reporting to the credit angency Ocwen removed the loan from Transunion but reported to XXXX and XXXX that forclouse processing have started Ocwen is not the note holder and has no right to collect. They also never respond to my letters. They have no legel right to forclouse on my property the loan was already paid as agreed

Consumer Complaint: On or around XXXX/XXXX/14 Ocwen loan servicing LLC . sent me my last dispursement check from my Escrow Disbursement account, to finish my repairs on my house from Hurricane XXXX. I NEVER RECEIVED THE CHECK. I called Ocwen three times on or around XXXX/XXXX/14 - XXXX/XXXX/14. first time I asked when the check was coming, they said give it more time it is in transit. Second time I called them I told them I did not recieve my check and they should stop payment. Their response was " give it more time ''. Third time I called them, I told them I still have not received the check and for them to definitely stop payment. Their response was, the check has been cashed and that I needed to go to XXXX XXXX XXXX and request a fraudulent claim form. I told them that it was their job, being that the check was not from my account. ALL OF THIS IS ON THEIR PHONE RECORDINGS OF ALL OUR CONVERSATIONS. I asked that they send me a copy of the check, it took Ocwen approximately eight months plus numerous phone calls, to get me a copy of the cashed check. Their explanation of the delay was that they were transferring their insurance loss department to a new location in Texas and all paper work was in transit. Finally, I received a copy of the cashed check and as you can see my signature is not present and nor did I give any authorization to cash this check. I filled out the necessary paperwork to the best of my ability to get this matter resolved, which I will attach. All three banks refuse to take responsibility. I believe XXXX XXXX is at fault mostly for not following proper procedures and taking and opening an account with an improperly endorsed check. XXXX XXXX XXXX also did not follow proper banking procedures because they did not check the endorsements and released the funds anyway to XXXX XXXX. Ocwen is also at fault for not stopping payment when requested and simply not taking any responsibility or helping to resolve this situation in a timely manner.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen purchased the mortgage on my XXXX condominium a number of years ago. They have been repeatedly sending me letters insisting that my homeowners insurance has lapsed and that I must obtain coverage or they will obtain it for me at my expense. Our homeowners association maintains this insurance, it has not lapsed for the 18 years I have had this mortgage, and I have faxed a copy of the policy to Ocwen three times. They continue to request the proof of insurance, even though I have called to tell them that I have faxed it to them, and now have sent me a letter on XX/XX/XXXX telling me that they have purchased insurance for me from a company named XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$390.00} annually and have added this cost to my mortgage without my consent. I also have individual homeowners insurance which also has not lapsed in 18 years. This is a scam which I have read all about them doing to other homeowners on the internet. I have always paid my mortgage on time and am also buying another home in XXXX with XXXX with no problems with that mortgage. This company is corrupt and needs to be put out of business.

Consumer Complaint: My Mortgage Company has a pay-by-phone option that I utilized in XXXX 2014. I lost the transaction number, so I checked my bank statement and verified that both the mortgage payment and the telephonic transaction fee had both cleared ( by name ). Within months I noticed that the XX/XX/XXXX payment was NOT acknowledged as received. I began receiving late fee charges, correspondance suggestioning financial assisstance (! ), and eventually threats of foreclosure (! ). Simultaneously I am attempting to go through the 'proper channels '. I contact the mortgage company telephonically, to no avail, all personell maintained that the payment had not been received. I then attempted to contact the complaint dept, and forwarded all pertinent bank statement info, also to no avail. I then secured legal assistance who again forwarded all pertinent info on my behalf. They ( legal ) also received the 'company line ' that the payment had not been received. At that point the my legal service suggested I contact CFPB, as solving this type problem falls within your specific function. Please assist as my Mortgage company is now threatening foreclosure within the month.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX, my mom passed away, leaving me to deal with the mortgage, on XX/XX/XXXX I noticed that the escrow account was not being properly handled and paid. I requested to cancel the escrow with the lender and proceeded to pay the taxes and insurance on my own. Ocwen " the mortgage company " were still charging me escrow in my payment. therefore over charging me. I called to get things figured out. A man name XXXX who stated to stop making payments until they can figure it out. They have yet to do so, even after months of talking with several different people from Ocwen. So I decided to start paying it for fear of foreclosure and false info from the bank. I mailed a paymant, hoping that would at least get some attention on my account. The bank Mailed it back. Now the bank os refusing to take any payments. They have refused to stop charging me Escorw and now are refusing to talk to me or even transfer me to a supervisor. I need help because they are unfairly handling my mortgage, as well as over charging me in fee 's and escrow. I believe they are taking advantage of me and I do not know where else to turn .Please help me.
