Consumer Complaint: Late XXXX 2016, I was inquiring with my lender - OCWEN how best to payoff the loan without any problems, since I was planning to do this by XXXX 2016. In addition, I inquired about the payoff amount ( {$38000.00} ). I mentioned by phone to my lender - OCWEN that I would be paying off the loan in XXXX 2016 and that I needed to hold off on paying that month, since it would throw-off the new lenders payoff calculations. My lender - OCWEN was aware that I was about to payoff the loan in full in XXXX 2016, but there was a delay with my new lender and I ended-up paying off the loan on XXXX XXXX, 2016. I did n't think it would be a problem on my credit, since I discussed this issue beforehand with my lenders support staff and they agreed by phone to that affect. I 've always been in good standing with my lender OCWEN, up to this point, where I was paying off the loan and they gave me wrong information in terms of my credit being compromised. My track record shows that I 've always paid on-time and that has never been a problem. I was planning to retire on XXXX XXXX, 2016 after 24 years of service to the military and I was refinancing this loan before getting out. My credit score before this issue was approx. XXXX. My score dropped XXXX points because of this error. As a retiree, this is a major issue and I addressed this issue to their Research Dept. with no success. BTW, there were recorded phone conversations about what we discussed. I hope you can have my lender retract this credit report error so as a retiree ... .I 'll have peace of mind.

Consumer Complaint: Hi My Name is XXXX XXXX and I reside at XXXX MD XXXX. I have lived here for 10 years and having been hit by the financial melt down where I have fallen behind my mortgage for a while. My problem is that I have been working with Ocwen Loan servicing on modification of my mortgage. They have me sending documents over and over again and they keep misplacing them. They then sent me to a XXXX XXXX, where we discussed that my contribution partner income does show a year to date income on their pay stub, even dou we have a yearly income and have verifed that he makes that income every year..My last conversation with her was that she was going to get a letter directly from the employer and she could not she will let me know. She sent me an email on the XXXX saying she has not received the documents from XXXX XXXX mover but yet they have scheduled for foreclosure. Every time they need a document they just go ahead and schedule for foreclosure. It seems they are more interested taking my property from me and my family than at list review my documents for a modification. Please help me get reviewed by them .Thank you

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen is not complying with the Ocwen National Servicing Agreement and the National Mortgage Settlement. Ocwen is relying on a fabricated document to conduct a foreclosure sale. The mortgage transfer filed in XXXX XXXX was filed by a known robo-signer, XXXX XXXX. According to the National Settlement website, " The consent order addresses Ocwen 's misconduct during the mortgage servicing process. It also covers XXXX companies previously purchased by Ocwen, Litton Loan Servicing LP ( " Litton '' ) and Homeward Residential Holdings LLC ( previously known as American Home Mortgage Servicing, Inc. or AHMSI ). Ocwen must also pay XXXX to the nearly XXXX Ocwen, Litton, and Homeward borrowers who have already been foreclosed upon and Ocwen must adhere to significant new homeowner protections. The consent order requires that Ocwen follow the servicing standards set up by the XXXX National Mortgage Settlement ( NMS ) with the XXXX largest banks. Ocwen 's compliance with this settlement will be monitored by the same professional monitoring team currently in charge of enforcing the NMS, led by former North Carolina Banking Commissioner XXXX XXXX. '' According to the United States Department of Justice News Release, " The court documents filed today also provide detailed new servicing standards that the mortgage servicers will be required to implement. These standards will prevent foreclosure abuses of the past, such as robo-signing, improper documentation and lost paperwork, and create new consumer protections. The new standards provide for strict oversight of foreclosure processing, including third-party vendors, and new requirements to undertake pre-filing reviews of certain documents filed in bankruptcy court. The new servicing standards make foreclosure a last resort by requiring servicers to evaluate homeowners for other loss mitigation options first. Servicers will be restricted from foreclosing while the homeowner is being considered for a loan modification. The new standards also include procedures and timelines for reviewing loan modification applications and give homeowners the right to appeal denials. Servicers will also be required to create a single point of contact for borrowers seeking information about their loans and maintain adequate staff to handle calls. '' Ocwen is continuing with the foreclosure abuses of the past by relying on this robo-signed document and by listing our home for foreclosure sale while it is being reviewed for a loan document. All documents have been received for the loan modification by Ocwen as of XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Ocwen 's account analyst from the Consumer Ombudsman nor Ocwen 's legal attorney, XXXX XXXX are familiar with the new servicing standards or the Ocwen National Servicing Agreement and the National Mortgage Settlement.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen raised my monthly payment wrongfully after stating I did not have " acceptable '' insurance. I disputed the amount of escrow they charged, and did not pay that amount while it was in dispute. I did make my monthly payment, and have an unblemished payment history going back for years. They filed a negative credit report with the credit reporting agencies saying I had missed a payment, which was false and untrue. I have never missed a payment. Now, my credit score has gone from " Good '' to " Poor '' thanks to their screwup in wrongfully saying I had missed a payment, which the record shows I have not. Also, I have not heard from Ocwen about my complaint to you and them that they wrongfully raised my mortgage amount by more than {$400.00} a month to pay the escrow for an alternative insurance policy they bought for me, which I did not need because I had insurance already and sent them numerous notices to that effect. This is victimization of homeowners at its worst, and I want this stopped, my credit score fixed by having them withdraw the negative report, and all monies payed to them wrongfully for the outrageously high, unnecessary increase in my escrow amount to be refunded.

Please let me know, I pray that Ocwen allows me to refinance XXXX XXXX for {$56000.00} as any XXXX off the street can do and stay in my residence until my death. Consumer Complaint: In XXXX XXXX our daughter who was XXXX years old at the time had a XXXX within one week. She is know XXXX. My wife was forced to leave her job at the XXXX XXXX so she could take our daughter to multiple weekly appointments which continue today. Unfortunately the loss of her income did not leave us any choice but to file CHXXXX bankruptcy. The trustee made small monthly payments to OCWEN while we were under bankruptcy protection. Our case was discharged on XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have spoken with OCWEN several times over the past year and submitted paper work many times for a loan modification. Each time they said they never received all of the paperwork. My remaining balance with Ocwen is around {$100000.00}. I meet all of the criteria for a government loan modification yet they keep denying me. I have been forced to hire a law firm to protect my home. My current mortgage percentage rate is 9.2 %. If OCWEN would work with me and lower our interest rate and monthly payment, we could retain our home. Our home is the only thing my wife and I have and would expect OCWEN to follow federal guidelines and not give us the run around.
