Consumer Complaint: I first began my membership with NFCU as a joint owner on another member 's checking account and while on that account, I experienced an instance of a fraudulent ATM withdrawal at a NFCU ATM for {$500.00}. I filed a fraud claim on the transaction and was issued an immediate provisional credit for the charge. Approximately 30 days ago, I processed the formal removal of myself from that account and opened my own personal Account with them separately. Subsequently to having done these things, NFCU decided to deny the claim and reverse the provisional credit that was previously issued for {$500.00} but instead of deducting this amount from the same account in which it had been deposited, they illegitimately changed over to my newly opened personal account and withdrew the funds from there instead of the matching account which it originated in the first place. The two accounts have nothing linking them and the institution had no right to debit these funds from my account and I am alleging fraud at this juncture. I have attempted contact numerous times and received no help and now need intervention.

My wife even went inside a NFCU Branch to use their ATM to make a cash deposit. Our XXXX payment was made on online on XX/XX/XXXX in the evening. There was funds available to pay our {$99.00} XXXX bill. We had funds available to pay our XXXX bill, on XX/XX/2019 we noticed we got hit with a {$29.00} fee, for return. It shows we actually had funds available to pay our XXXX bill. We made several deposits that entire week, what NFCU does they hold out funds and not make them available right away. Our deposits are CASH DEPOSITS. Someone needs to investigate NFCU PRACTICES.

Consumer Complaint: Already made an complaint against the company. Since then Navy Federal Credit Union switched the title of the loan account as Consumer Loan and not the vehicle loan that it was orginally labeled. This was so they can illegally transfer payments from one loan account to another. All payments that i made towards the vehciel loan was labeled so on the money orders. I have all copies of every money to include the certified mail statements. I now do not have access to see statements at all or other accounts. The complaint that I made before was XXXX. This company has done me more harm than good. Veterans need to stay away. All of this has caused a lot of anxiety, depresssion, and I can't take no more.
