Consumer Complaint: These accounts have been transferred or sold. According to my findings, I am no longer responsible for this alleged debt, there is also no written communication, contract, or signature. A bill without a signature does not imply that the debt is legitimate, and anyone may submit a bill and claim ownership. I reserve the right to file a lawsuit against your company for violating my consumer rights under the FDCPA Section 807-8 and FCRA Section 623-b. If required, I will sue your company for damages.

Consumer Complaint: I was defrauded by the merchant ( property management company ). They fraudulently misrepresented the apartment unit and after signing the contract, they gave me a key to an apartment unit that did not meet Texas state habitability law. The apartment unit was full of cockroaches and it was very unsafe environment. I paid the rent ( {$200.00} and {$600.00} ) with Navy Federal credit card on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and on XXXX, I decided to early terminate the lease agreement with landlord due to their lease violation. I have a right to refund because the merchant defrauded me by fraudulently misrepresenting the apartment unit. I also filed disputes regarding this issue with other credit card companies and they approved my claims and I was able to receive the refunds for other rent that I paid for. However, only Navy Federal Credit Union did not issue a refund. They did not properly investigate this issue and I'm very frustrated and disappointed. The amount of money that I paid for may not be a lot to this organization but it's a lot to me as XXXX year old.

Issue: Opening an account
Subissue: Unable to open an account
Consumer Complaint: I have been trying to open an account with Navy Federal for about a year and 1/2 now close to two years. I'm elegible since my grandparents serve in the XXXX and the military. I called federal navy several times and ask for an update on my aplication and through out the years I got the same response that I was ineligible because they couldn't verify my information and that's is just absurdb I sent every document they requested multiple times, I don't understand how can they not verify. I sent all the requested information Drivers license W2 Car registration Utility bill Green card Ban statements Today I finally got an answer from a very nice lady that said that once they put an alert that they couldn't verify my information all my aplication for membership will be taken but denied. I asked if there was a timeline for me to apply and she said I could always apply but it would lead to that same decision. I provided everything requested and I feel like navy federal had more then enough information to open my account they just have chosen not to based on their own faulty system and wish for them to reconsider and make things right by verifying my information and approving my rightfully right to membership.
