Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems Inc sent me a letter XXXX XXXX, 2016 offering to reduce my debt if I sent the money in by XXXX/XXXX/16. But they did not send it out until around XXXX XXXX after speaking to the male supervisor it was clear that the intention was never to allow me to pay the reduced amount of XXXX. There was no date on the envelope sent by the credit company so they could and did say that the letter was sent before the closing date on the letter, and blame the postal service for the delay. The supervisor is very disagreeable and rude and seem to be counter productive to getting the companies payments from the customers. This supervisor places on my file what he choose to, after I asked him to put on my file that I am willing to accept their offer of paying XXXX but I could not afford to pay the full amount of XXXX. This debt was bought from the XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX Michigan. I feel that the National Credit system is deliberately misrepresentive of their offers to reduce your debt because they do n't give you time to respond to these requests and blame the postal service for being too blame for the delay when it is clear that if they had sent the letters out in a timely manner I would got it in time to respond to the offer they sent me.

Consumer Complaint: I moved out of XXXX XXXX XXXX 2014. Almost a year later I received a letter from a debt collection agency seeking {$5900.00}. I had no knowledge of my debt. Under the fair credit reporting act, XXXX should have made a goodwill effort to notify me of the debt before sending it to collections. They had my phone number and forwarding address, yet failed to communicate and give me a chance to pay any debt, as well as dispute inaccuracies. Because of this I have been denied XXXX apartments and it has severely affected my credit score.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I lived in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX n.c. XXXX in XXXX XXXX where a fire ensued. I was covered by insurance in full through XXXX XXXX XXXX company of Florida. My insurance paid XXXX in the form of XXXX checks ( I submitted the documentation ) on my behalf collected by XXXX XXXX XXXX the property owners at the time. XX/XX/XXXX I received a bill from XXXX for the 2 mos remaining on my lease. When I called I was told to disregard it as my lease was void as of the fire ... I did. In XXXX my account was given/sold to National Credit Systems for XXXX. The information I am providing will contradict information I have received from NCS. NCS claimed on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX that my insurance paid XXXX. However my insurance has provided me documentation that they paid XXXX XXXX for the damages created by the fire. Therefore they have been overpaid and should have returned my deposit of {$400.00}. I do not owe a balance at all. In the past I have had my insurance call XXXX directly as well as contacted XXXX and XXXX the property owners to no avail. NCS will not release this debt as they wish to be compensated for purchasing a bad debt. Furthermore it is my understanding that Steeplechase\and or NCS had 3 years to file a judgement against us for this debt they did not and the timeframe has since expired so this should have been removed on that basis if not the fact that I have provided substantial proof from the 3rd party ( my insurance company ) that they were paid before this debt went to collections. NCS has also resubmitted this debt to the credit bureaus XXXX ( in order to keep it from dropping from my credit ) indicating that they have made contact with us. THEY HAVE MADE NO CONTACT WHATSOEVER SINCE XX/XX/XXXX, when I contacted them. There is no debt owed and I would like this removed from my credit and the credit of XXXX XXXX immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I rented a apartment from XXXX which required the tenants to use their power & water XXXX XXXX. The original lease agreement states that all bills to XXXX must be satisfied in order to close out the lease for the apartment. I closed out all my bills and did a final walk thru with no worries. Several months later I received a call from National Credit Systems INC saying I owed XXXX XXXX. This is a total scam. My balances have been closed out but these crooks keep trying to say I owe money. I have been dealing with this for years. these people are crooks and are tied into the scam with the apartment complex which does n't even exist anymore.
