Consumer Complaint: I first disputed with National Credit System in XXXX of this year. I later disputed with the company again with a follow up letter from the previous. In this letter I stated to this company that they had broken the law because according to FDCPA 807 ( 8 ). The law states that the agency is required to contact the credit bureaus and make sure to add a sentence to my credit report within 30 days that says I have disputed the item. This federal law has been broken and this item should be removed IMMEDIATELY. National Credit Systems never responded back to this dispute and I have the signed signature that the company signs when they received it in the mail. This was my 2nd choice for the company to cooperate and next step will be small claims court if company continues to report this item fraudently on my credit report

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Consumer Complaint: I recently pulled a credit report and saw that National Credit Systems is reporting to be collecting on an alleged debt. After research, according to the Florida office of Financial Regulations, they are not licensed in the state Florida. Their license expired in 2003. Please see the attachment.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was paid
Consumer Complaint: A debt in the amount of {$1900.00} from National credit systems is being reported on my credit report. The debt in question is from an apartment that I leased. I contacted the company by mail on XX/XX/XXXX and again on XX/XX/XXXX. OnXX/XX/XXXX I requested validation of the debt. I asked the company to show me how they calculated what I owe. The company replied by sending a transaction history and a lease renewal agreement. The lease renewal agreement was signed XX/XX/XXXX. I moved into the apartment XX/XX/XXXX ( which is reflected on the transaction history ). When I moved in I made a deposit of {$1800.00}. My {$1800.00} deposit is not reflected on the transaction history so I wrote another letter to the company onXX/XX/XXXX. In this letter I let them know that they were reporting an incorrect amount owed. I asked them to retrieve the lease agreement that I signed on XX/XX/XXXX. This lease agreement will list the {$1800.00} deposit. Without this lease agreement the debt has not been validated as accurate because it can not be reconciled with the transaction history. I received a generic response from National credit systems and the item remains on my credit report. This company is violating the FCRA 609. Also please note that I also disputed this matter with the credit reporting agencies and National credit systems confirmed the debt amount as accurate. Please hold this company accountable by requesting the XXXX lease agreement and requiring them to deduct the {$1800.00} deposit from the debt amount. Also please note that I contacted the apartment complex several times after I moved to recover the deposit. National credit systems did not contact me in regards to this debt prior to placing it on my credit report as required. Thanks for your time.

Consumer Complaint: I recently reviewed my XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX credit reports and noticed a collections entry from this company. This is inaccurate, as I do not have a contract with this company. In the US law encyclopedia, American Jurisprudence, 73 Am Jur 2d. Sections 90-93 ; it says that " one can not subrogate onto a contract that they were not originally on, did not have any interest to protect, and then claim successor in rights and interests. '' Thus, when an original creditor sells the debt, they give up their rights to collect on the debt, BUT they do not give those same rights to the collection agency. The collection agency can not act as a substitute for the original creditor. I wrote the company requesting validation, but the creditor 's attempt of validation is not valid. This company sent me a copy of a lease, but the company 's name was nowhere on the original contract. With NO VALID CONTRACT, this company has no right to place any information on my credit reports.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: In XXXX XXXX, I received an alert from my consumer report stating that a new collections account was added to my file. Upon checking my credit report, I found that National Credit Systems Inc. had added a negative tradeline to my credit file indicating that I owed them {$3500.00}. I was never notified by this company that they were attempting to collect a debt from me prior to adding the account to my credit profile. I then wrote a letter to the company inquiring about this debt, disputing its validity, and also requested validation that the debt belonged to me. My certified letter was signed for on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The company then mailed me paperwork that did not validate the debt. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I pulled my report again and this company had not notified one or more of the consumer reporting agencies of my dispute, which is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. I then mailed a second certified letter to the company informing them of the violation and the letter was signed for on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The company then mailed me the same paperwork that was sent after my first letter. Again I checked my credit reports on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and one or more of the consumer reporting agencies still had not been notified of my dispute of this account. I mailed a third letter to the company again indicating the violation ; which was signed for on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I again received the same paperwork. To date, all credit bureaus still have not been notified of my dispute of this debt with this company. I have printed a copy of all three consumer reports dated XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX, XXXX which show that this account has not been marked as disputed with one or more of the consumer reporting agencies.

Consumer Complaint: This agency is currently reporting a debit on my credit report without proper licensing and documentation. I have written multiple letters directly to XXXX XXXX staying that I was unaware of the debt. I was not properly notified before the accounts were sent to collections. It also states in the letter that the information reported is incorrect please validate the debt and stop reporting until the debt is validated by myself/ please delete due to inaccuracy of reporting. Instead of deleting the accounts from my credit report due to incorrect reporting information and no proper notification of debt. They decided to update the incorrect information that was being disputed at the time. The state of Texas also requires a license or surety bond for debt collection purposes. National Credit Sysyems is currently collecting on credit report in the amounts of {$140.00} and {$500.00}. The address reported on my credit report is XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, Ga. This company and address is currently not registered to collect from this address in the state of Texas. I would like these accounts to be removed from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Hello Beginning XXXX XXXX I disputed an amount on my credit report that was not owed. The attorney continued to call and Harass me about this amount of {$2100.00}. I explained I did not owe that amount. They refused to listen to me. Now the credit bureaus job was to gain evidence that the amount was inaccurate or correct. They continued to report that it was correct without even doing their job. Therefore this was to be deleted from my account within 30 days. I disputed 6x for an entire 8 months and no one listened to me. The Fair Credit Reporting Act states to verify and/or DELETE these inaccuracies within 30 days. They failed to do so. Why are they allowed to continue to keep this on my report inaccurate for 3 years? I want this deleted. I noticed recently that the price was changed, even after XXXX sent me a letter stating Paid in full, XXXX balance. I 'm unsure why this amount is changed after almost 4 years. I called the National Credit Systems and they refused to delete it still. This is unjust to the laws that were put in place to protect the consumer. The new amount of {$620.00} on my report should be deleted and obsolete. I have been unable to secure a safe apartment for my children due to this inaccuracy that I reported in XXXX to all 3 bureaus MULTIPLE times for 8 months. Broken leases are not considered under any circumstances. This has gone on longer than the 30 day requirement to wait for an answer. 8 months longer. I want this deleted from my report as that was suppose to be done in XXXX XXXX after the inaccuracies were not investigated properly or deleted in a timely manner. How many people are being overcharged inaccurate fees that were not correct from the beginning? How many Americans are suffering with inaccurate debt placed on them due to a company mistake? I am not the only one. This should be stopped and the proper authorities should step in and give proper penalties to the bureaus and creditors for not following the Fair Credit Reporting Act accurately. Is n't that way it was written? Thank you for your time and help.
