Consumer Complaint: Good day. I sent XXXX XXXX XXXX a debt validation letter requesting validation of the debt, and give them notice that the debt was not mind. They failed to respond back to my three requests for validation. NOW XXXX is reporting this on my credit files without giving me any notice of the alleged debt. I received 8 phone calls this week from XXXX, threating me of taking legal action.

Consumer Complaint: The debt appeared on my credit report in XXXX XXXX 2014. It lists an apartment complex that I never lived in, stating that I owed a debt for it.They started calling me telling me that if I didn't pay the amount of {$2600.00} I wouldn't be able to get an apartment and giving me quotes from customers saying that the debt with them ruined their credit and they needed to pay it off. Being a young college student, I paid {$1100.00} total and then I did research and saw that their tactics were illegal and that I could dispute the collection. I tried to dispute the debt countless times and they called me almost daily telling me that I needed to pay this off at all hours of the day and night. Last year, I gave them a cease and desist letter and they haven't contacted me but still haven't removed the debt that was never mine. They were never able to send me a signed contract validating the debt. I do not owe this company.

Consumer Complaint: A collection # XXXX was started by National Credit Systems , Inc. for an amount of {$5300.00}. This debt was for the apartment lease of my estranged adult son. I did not sign or cosign a lease. I called the landlord, XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ), and they were very apologetic. There was no cosigner agreement on file or any attempt to use my social security number or personal information fraudulently. They wrote an apology on XXXX XXXX 2017 and provided a release from National Credit Systems on National Credit Systems ' letterhead. Everything appeared to be fine until a derogatory report/collection action appeared on my XXXX credit report in XXXX of last year. I immediately disputed the report with both National Credit Systems and XXXX. National Credit Systems claims that I was removed from their collection and multiple XXXX representatives ( at least 4 ) have said that it would be removed from my credit report after 48 hours. It has not been removed and has affected my ability to obtain a credit card even with a XXXX FICO and otherwise blemish free credit history. Here is the fax cover letter I sent to XXXX : Ive attached two documents in support of clearing the collection action on my credit report with confirmation # XXXX. The debt is not mine. I did not sign or cosign a lease with The XXXX XXXX or ever live in their apartments. The XXXX XXXX started a collection action with National Credit Systems , Inc. and National Credit Systems erroneously tied my name to the collection action. They do not have my social security number, a signed lease, or a cosigner agreement on file. 1. The XXXX XXXX wrote an email apologizing for the error and confusion. They instructed National Credit Systems to remove my name from the account and collection action. Ive attached that email sent XXXX XXXX, 2017. 2. National Credit Systems complied and sent a retraction to me and The XXXX XXXX on their letterhead, dated X/XX/2017, removing my name from the account and stating that they would no longer pursue me for the recovery of the account. They also stated that any derogatory credit listing would be removed promptly. Ive attached a copy of their letter. Several voicemails over several days have simply gone unanswered by National Credit Systems. Please immediately remove the National Credit Systems , Inc. collection listing from my report. Thank You,

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: Dear national credit systems, I am in receipt of the letter you sent to collect a debt from me, I am for certain that i do not owe your company any money. For starters, I have never done business with you. in Fact, I have never heard of your company until having received this letter in the mail. What i find strange is your attempt to settle the debt with me when i do n't owe you any money in the first place! Why would i settle on something i do n't even know?! Seriously informing that i have a debt when i never signed a contract with you and you do n't have my signature nor my drivers license for a contract stating Im liable ... .Again, I do n't owe you any money!! ' With all that being said, Please See this letter as me disputing this alleged debt with your company as well as requesting debt validation. Please send me a legal binding contract and agreement that legally binds me to owing your company!! I have been disputing this debt with your company hence you have never supplied legal supporting documents, this is my last and final time to ask you for correct validation. thirty days should be more than enough time for you to send me legal supporting supporting documents bearing that I 've done business with you, Hence owing your company, i also have attached my attorney on here as well for your response. Regards, XXXX XXXX CC Attorney XXXX XXXX
