Consumer Complaint: For the past year or 2 I have been fighting with a company called National Credit Systems about a collection on my name that I am not responsible for or connected too. For my entire life except for the time I spent out of the state while in the military, I have lived with my parents homes here in Ohio. In 2020 I had dealt with a large amount of different cases from, loans & credit cards being opened in my name, & my existed bank accounts & credit/debit cards being used all related to my identity being stolen or leaked online. In 2020 around the same timeframe, an individual rented an apartment in my name and didn't pay for it. I have no connection and have no idea who it was who rented this apartment, but it was not me & was a result of identity theft. Every single time I try to connect with National Credit Systems, they refuse to provide me with the verification of signature from the lease. National credit systems submitted to me a billing statement without any extra information such as lease documents, wet-signature or other info related to this situation. After speaking to our family friend who is an attorney, he said to me that " Under federal law, if a wet signature can not be provided by a collection agency, the debt therefore can't be verified & must be deleted due the unverifiable information. '' If National Credit Systems can not provide me with the " wet '' or Ink-Signature used on the documents for this apartment that was rented in my name, as a result of identity theft, I am asking the CFPB to ask them to delete the collection & remove it from all Credit Reporting agencies.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I received XXXX Derogatory marks from a collection agency named National Credit Systems. The first one, in the amount of {$450.00} from a creditor named as an apartment complex in XXXX XXXX Texas named XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The second, In the amount of {$6300.00} from a creditor named as XXXX XXXX. also and apartment complex in XXXX XXXX. I did not sign any lease with either of them. I live in XXXX as a home owner. I believe my identity had been stolen and I was a victim of identity Fraud. My credit has been frozen on all Bureaus since XX/XX/2023. So these apartment complexes definitely did not do their job of properly verifying my credit. I Have contacted National Credit Systems. a person named XXXX XXXX has been in charge of this case that has an internal reference number : XXXX XXXX XXXX has requested me twice to send the same documentation package that their identity fraud team requested. I have sent all documents requested by Mail and E-mail as they requested. Since XX/XX/2023, I can only see the second charge of {$6300.00} on my account. I believe National credit systems removed the first charge. But they failed to remove the second. XXXX XXXX XXXX is unaware of the documents I sent, it seems that their department do not communicate internally, so he can't answer why one charge was removed but not the second. when I asked what should I do about this, he forwarded the same first e-mail with the same requirements. Which was frustrating. Since this communication isn't going anywhere, I decided to contact CFPB to weight on the resolution of this matter. I am a Real Estate Investor and can not afford to have these kinds of issue on my credit. it is crucial that this gets removed from my account ASAP. I am attaching the same documents that the debt collector requested for your revision. including the police report file in XXXX, water bills and home insurance policy to prove my place of residency on the time the events happened and signed affidavits. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: I received a bill on XX/XX/XXXX that a transaction would be withdrawn from. My account on XX/XX/XXXX. I called national credit system because due yo fraud on my credit card again I had to get a replacement card and was simply calling to give my new card number. My account XXXX XXXX was extremely rude and said due to the payment being rejected they can no longer do auto pay. I explained the situation and he stated it was not his problem. I asked to speak to a supervisor and got XXXX XXXX who was horribly rude, disrespectful, refused to listen to my concern, and over talked me. When I tried to explain he said " you are not going to disrespect me '' which was odd because I did not yell, curse or become disrespectful. He used this verbiage to disconnect the call. Please review it!! I never had a company try to prevent you from making a payment. I also went back and checked email and have never received notifications. And .... to receive a bill a day after the withdrawal is ridiculous. This company is ridiculous and hires anyone with vocal cords to answer the phone!!!!

Consumer Complaint: I represent a protected person as court appointed guardian. The company was supplied with a guardianship order. Under Indiana Code ( IC ) 29-3-8-5 ( b ) : Every contract, sale, or conveyance executed by a protected person is VOID. Therefore, all transactions, even if claimed to be made by a proted person are VOID. Thus, all conveyance and transactions must be retracted, redacted and sealed. That person is a protected person under IC 29-3-1-13. Protected person 's any and all information, not limited to documents, histories entries are also protected and must be removed from any and all files, including electronic collection files. The company must not provide and release any information about this protected person to anyone except guardians, her attorneys without a Court Order. Such acts violated Indiana Guardianship-IC Title 29. Probate 29-3-5-1. Natonal Credit Systems , Inc was repeatedly contacted ;, and they failed to provide any information and authorities that would superseds Indiana Guardianship Act.

Ive done my due diligence and studied my Consumer Laws, UCC & USC codes as well. As attorney general Id like you to reach out to this company on MY behalf and submit a request to delete the XXXX apartments complexes they are charging me for. I have not given this company or any other consumer reporting agency written instructions to furnish any data which violates my rights as per 15 USC 1681 sec. 602 ( a ) 15 USC 1681 C ( a ) ( 5 ) sec II - states that no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following information : any adverse item of information other than records of conviction and crime which up to date the report by up to 7 years 18 USC 894 - Collection of extensions of credit by extort ionate means ( a ) Whoever knowingly participates in any way or conspires to do so, in the use of any extortionate means ( 1 ) to collect or attempt to collect any extension of credit, or ( 2 ) to punish any person for the nonpayment thereof, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both. 15 USC 1666b - a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose. Privacy and consent. Please take care of this once and for all. These are the OFFICIAL laws and they trump and corporate agency policies.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I emailed them this. XXXX " I called to pay like always but was informed you will no longer take a full year up front. With that new policy and not being able to come to XXXX these last years we decided to just move our stuff out. I am in Oklahoma so I needed to find a family member to move my stuff for me. XXXX XX/XX/XXXX he called and said they were headed down tomorrow. On XX/XX/XXXX he cleaned out the unit, on XX/XX/XXXX I turned in the 30 days notice and then tried to pay a little later. I don't not remember what day but it was early in the month. I couldn't get anyone to take payment over the phone, they said they couldn't do it although that's how I paid for years. So I went online to pay and it said my account balance was XXXX. I thought they ran the card that had been on file. Then I get a letter in the mail from a collection agency saying I owe XXXX. I called and couldn't get through so I found a chat option that your company uses through XXXX. I have the old manager admitting that I did turn in notice on XX/XX/XXXX. I saved the entire chat if you'd like to see it. I don't understand any of this. In XXXX, I tried to pay the full year in advance. XX/XX/XXXX my cousin comes to move my stuff out and I fill out the 30 day notice online. Few days later I went to pay but it said I owe XXXX. I get a letter in the mail later that is dated XX/XX/XXXX from a collection agency saying I owe XXXX. I have been trying to resolve this issue ever since. I didn't even get 30 days from the XX/XX/XXXX before somebody turned me over to collections '' If I no longer had an account like they claim when I was turned over to National Credit Systems how was I able to log into the system with my account number and unit # and have the system tell me I had a XXXX balance.
