Consumer Complaint: Covid-19 effected me and my XXXX XXXX XXXX mother. We were effected physically and financially. I contacted my mortgage company for a modification, and they offered me the Covid relief plan. They gave me the covid relief plan and gave me twelve months mortgage free. I accepted their offer of no payment for twelve months. I received a call a year later demanding over thirty thousand dollars in back payments. I explained to them they never disclosed that this was a deferment of payments and that a balloon payment would be due on all of the rerage payments. They refused to modify the loan and demanded full payment or foreclosure. They have not responded to my QWR or my debt validation. This is another form of predatory lending. This loan is in both my name and my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX mother 's. This is also elderly abuse. The assignments that they've created are robo-sign which is illegal.

Issue: Trouble during payment process

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage was transferred to Rightpath mortgage company in XXXX XXXX. When I make my payment, Rightpath will not allow me to make additional payments to principal. The reasoning they are giving me is that back in XXXX I had some fees applied to my mortgage as my mortgage went into foreclosure which I have not missed a payment once I brought the account out of foreclosure status. ( approx 10 years ago ) What they are telling me is that I need to pay those fees 1st before they will allow the additional payments to principal, that they go by a " hierarchy '' when applying payments. I have been applying additional payments to principal for years. No other servicer has denied this in the past and I believe I have had 4 different servicers at this point. They are changing the terms of my contract and I believe they are doing this illegally. I have called several times to get this resolved to no avail. I would like a resolution to this matter not only for myself but for anyone else dealing with what I believe is a fraudulent practice by RightPath.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX I contacted Mr. Cooper to schedule a payment in the amount of {$600.00}, to be debited from my account on Friday, XX/XX/2022. The agent I spoke to confirmed via recorded audio that my payment was to be taken on XX/XX/2022. Well first she stated the XXXX and I had to correct her. The agent incompetently scheduled my payment for Friday, XX/XX/2022 which resulted in my account incurring a {$29.00} returned check fee. I contacted Mr. Cooper on XX/XX/2022 and reached an agent named XXXX. I explained the complete situation and XXXX, completely wasted my time because she didn't listen to me or understand what was going on. She called my bank, XXXX to confirm the {$600.00} transaction had been completed??? I was talking about a return check fee and this fool wants to confirm that the {$600.00} had been taken out of my account. You are confused??? Yeah, so was I. I had to stop the conversation with her at a point as her incompetence was too much to take. I was eventually transferred through Tier 2 escalation to XXXX who was equally as useless. I felt like she was busy with her cell phone as it took her forever to respond to anything. I finally sent an email to XXXX with a screenshot of the processed return check fee. I want my {$29.00} returned check fee back. I will not be punished due to the incompetence of someone else!

I HAVE MY PHONE RECORDS REFLECTING THE OUTBOUND CALLS. I FAXED OVER MY BANKRUPTCY FILING INFORMATION AS WELL TO XXXX AND XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX PRIOR TO THE TRUSTEE SALE HOUR OF XXXX XXXX YET XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX PROCEEDED WITH SELLING MY HOME TO A THIRD PARTY. HOW BEING A TRUSTEE DID THEY SELL MY HOME WHEN I NOTIFIED THEM OF THE BANKRUPTCY FILING PRIOR TO THE TRUSTEE SALE HOUR. HOW?? I HAVE ASKED THEM FOR A PAYOFF SINCE THEY STATE I NOW HAVE TO PAY THE LOAN, WHICH IS FINE I CAN NOW PAY IT OFF IN FULL. THEY STOLE MY HOME OF MANY YEARS. A HOME IN OUR FAMILY. Consumer Complaint: So of course I put a complaint last month against my mortgage company Mr. Cooper and seems like I have to do this every month. I was approved for the Florida home owners assistance fund for XXXX past due payments and forward payments .they were bad paying in XXXX. I filed a complaint and they payed it. They didnt pay XXXX but they have payed other customers fir XXXX. This is inexcusable and they are a terrible company .lets face it, everyone complains about them. Just pay the XXXX payments because I am not paying the late fees. Thats there fault and they have the money, dont let them fool you. If you look at the payment history the last few months. They have that money, they must be collecting interest on it.

Consumer Complaint: I have applied and been approved through XXXX XXXX for XXXX under XXXX. The agency approved my relief on XX/XX/22 and sent an " I '' file to Mr. Cooper at that time. Mr. Cooper has not processed claiming that it may take 2-3 months to process! During such time they are accruing interest at a rate of {$1000.00} monthly that will be charged to the XXXX XXXX. In my opinion this is stealing from the federal government. I have been on the phone with many, many reps from XXXX XXXXMr. Cooper over the past months. I get nothing but the runaround, unable to speak to the XXXX XXXX or any individual in a supervisory position. I understand that this company has over 2,500 complaints against them and quit obviously should be fined heavily or lose their license to do business. My wife and I are retired. This has created a tremendous amount of stress on us both. XXXX was very difficult for us losing our jobs for 2+ years. Most recently I had XXXX and was nearly hospitalized. Please help!

When I reviewed my credit report, I discovered that some of the information was erroneous. The 3 credit bureaus must validate this account in line with Sections 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) and 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ).
