Consumer Complaint: I requested validation and verification of a bankruptcy with LexisNexis, that has been reporting to the XXXX and XXXX credit bureaus. After 30 days I received a response from Lexis Nexis stating this was verified. They did not give me the procedure used as requested. According to the FCRA credit reporting agencies are required to provide to the consumer the method of verification and proper validation upon request. This includes the name, address, and phone number of the verifying individual. Lexis Nexis violated the FCRA by not complying with its guidelines. Furthermore, I also contacted the local courthouse via mail to verify if Lexis Nexis verified with them. I received a letter from the court clerk stating THEY DO NOT give any information to any of the credit reporting agencies including Lexis Nexis. I do not know how Lexis Nexis received PROPER verification and validation if it did not come from the source of the information themselves. This is a direct infringement of my rights under the FCRA. I am asking that this bankruptcy be removed.

Consumer Complaint: I've contacted lexis nexus multiple times about an accident on my consumer report that did not happen to me. I am a male and this accident happened to a female with the same name but different spelling. The person the accident happened to has a different birthday, XXXX, spelling of their first name and the accident happened in a state i have never resided or visited. They have denied my despite 3 times and this whole ordeal has cost me over {$500.00} with my new insurance company in fees. I've never owned a car untill XX/XX/XXXX of this 2020 and have never had a drivers license or driven in my life. If lexis nexis does not fix the issue at hand then I will have to use legal acton due to the hundreds of dollars I am being charge monthly from an accident that did not happen to me.

Consumer Complaint: The credit bureau Lexis Nexis has refused to rectify an inaccuracy on my credit report. After filing a dispute, they claimed to have went through the entire investigation and found that their report was correct. However, I personally reached out to the source ( the court ) and had them call to try and fix the issue. I had two representatives from the court prove and debate that information being reported was false. Moreover, Lexis Nexis representatives refused to put a supervisor on the phone on XX/XX/2020. Lastly, the Municipal court and I asked them if an identifier document was provided prior to adding the claim to a credit report. They refused to answer this question, too. It is unlawful for a company to place any claims on a credit report without an identifier document. This company 's processes and customer service is not sufficient to provide the proper care.

Consumer Complaint: CFPB Complaint I requested an investigation AND Method of Verification from LexisNexis, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. Per the Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), the credit reporting agency is required to give me the method of verification within 15 days of my request. Investigation took more than 15 days. This should be hard evidence that goes all the way back to the original creditor. The credit reporting agencies are not in compliance, and accurate per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( A ) ( 1 ) ( a ). The attached letter from the courts states the following ; The bankruptcy court does not report or transmit bankruptcy court records or any other information directly to the credit reporting agencies.
