Consumer Complaint: I bank with Chase Bank, and they always take more for my money then what I should pay them.My account keep coming back very short, I tried to talk to them but always leave upset because they tried to tell me that I am wrong about my account.You do the math I place {$4900.00} in the bank I spent {$250.00} I when took cash the same night and placed it in the ATM machine next night I spent {$100.00} took that back to the ATM machine. I shop for XXXX gift spent {$190.00} Spent {$20.00} paid phone bill {$130.00} XXXX spent {$54.00} insurance which came to {$390.00} they were surpose to return XXXX insufficient fees which came to {$130.00} XXXX return {$84.00} why I go to the bank and was told I only had {$4000.00} in the chase bank? Where is my money? First time they took {$370.00} out of my savings account and said I paid my truck note a day early on a Thursday. Which they was lying XXXX got my check on Friday and I always pay my bills on a Friday always when my check comes I paid it that Friday and still they kept my money I verified with my car company and I was right but yet chase never gave my money back. They stated They paid me the insufficient fees back where is the money it doesn't add up and they know that but still kept my money.right now I'm out of another $ XXXX {$600.00} dollars trusting Chase Bank XXXX I pray you always watch your money while using Chase Bank. They take what don't belong to them. What's so bad they try to me you believe you crazy and that you spent your money.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, we sent {$26000.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX to a JPMorgan Chase Checking account through an ACH transaction. The money was transferred through a 3rd party, XXXX. Typically, an ACH transaction takes 3 to 5 business days, which means the money should have arrived at JPMorgan Chase on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, the recipient informed us that the money had yet to arrive. On the same day, we realized the recipient we had been in contact with was a fraudulent spammer, impersonating the actual recipient through a spoofed email address and duplication of invoices. We informed our bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and the 3rd party processor XXXX.XXXX of the fraud case, and they issued a formal Fraud LOI Reversal correspondence to JPMorgan Chase. However, as of submitting this complaint, JPMorgan Chase refuses to respond to the LOI. Based on our evidence, the money was never sent to the fraudulent spammer, and JPMorgan Chase still possesses the fund. The evidence is 1 ) After seven working days, the fraudulent spammer complained that they didn't receive the fund. 2 ) When we communicated with the local Chase bank branch where the recipient bank account was located on XX/XX/2022, they informed us that the account was already closed and marked as fraud. This complaint is against JPMorgan Chase, which refuses to cooperate with the Fraud LOI request and does not officially clarify the fund 's status.

The delivery person contacted me through messages to pay a shipping fee for {$870.00}. They contacted me again saying I need to {$4500.00} due to custom fees because of money laundering and kept on threatening me by saying how the custom officers would report me and put me in jail if I dont pay. The delivery person wont stop contacting me so I paid {$1500.00} through Chase XXXX. However, they kept on contacting me to pay other fees like I have to pay {$1000.00} to activate a bank account because they refuse to send money through my bank account and how they want {$10000.00} to be sent again. Which I did send {$1000.00} but not {$10000.00}. I had reported to the police officer and the XXXX XXXX XXXX. But Chase denied my dispute application.

Consumer Complaint: I am a long time customer JP Morgan Chase with multiple accounts. I recently opened a new Chase Total Checking account. This account has a XXXX XXXX monthly fee that can be waived if any of the following criteria is met. Below is the verbiage on Chases website : XXXX XXXX monthly service fee OR {$0.00} with one of the following each monthly statement period : Electronic deposits made into this account totaling {$500.00} or more, such as payments from payroll providers or government benefit providers, by using ( i ) the ACH network, ( ii ) the Real Time Payment network, or ( iii ) third party services that facilitate payments to your debit card using the Visa or XXXX XXXX OR a balance at the beginning of each day of {$1500.00} or more in this account OR an average beginning day balance of {$5000.00} or more in any combination of this account and linked qualifying deposits XXXX ( Opens Overlay ) /investments XXXX The criteria I intended to use to waive the fee were monthly deposits made via XXXX which would far exceed the XXXX XXXX monthly requirement. I decided to confirm after opening the account and was told XXXX didnt not meet the criteria of the ( ii ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I pressed Chase representatives to identify what option I can use to satisfy payment via this network and discovered that either the representatives werent aware or this option didnt exist in the way the average consumer would understand it. I was told that to satisfy this condition I would have to have a direct deposit via payroll or from a government entity. While these conditions would be fine if that was stated in Chase language they are not, rather just given as examples in the first line. Chases explanation is either intentionally vague and therefore will lead to monthly charges or includes a condition ( ii ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that they knowingly or unknowingly choose to include but can not provide options to meet for a typical consumer.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2022, I somehow forgot to submit my Mortgage payment to Chase. I have not missed a payment on any bill in over 15 years. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a notice from XXXX XXXX XXXX that a late payment was reported to my account. This notice from XXXX was the only communication I received about this XXXX payment. The moment I received it, I made the payment and contacted Chase about them reporting this late payment to the XXXX. I was told they would do nothing about it, however, I also work for a large bank. I am well aware that based on the FCRA, Chase needs to communicate with me that I have a missing payment, before reporting it to the Credit Bureaus. I have supplied Chase my phone number, address, email address, XXXX, and any other means necessary to contact me. I have their app, which include secure messaging. During no time between my missed XX/XX/XXXX payment and XX/XX/XXXX when I got the notice from XXXX, did Chase attempt to contact me to notify me that I missed a payment. Had they put in some effort to work with me, I would have made the payment the moment I knew it was not submitted. I make my payments online each month, and can only think that I forgot the final submit step when I went to pay XXXX payment. The payment was made the minute I found out about it. I requested to have this removed from my credit report, and they told me no. This is not valid credit reporting, as there is a violation of my fair credit reporting rights due to a lack of effort on Chase to collect this debt before reporting it as delinquent. I would like this removed from my credit report, for all XXXX reporting agencies. I care about my credit, I just wish my bank would too.

Consumer Complaint: I received an offer letter from Chase XXXX regarding an offer for a credit increase on my card. I was thrilled bc the offer letter ( attached ) indicated I would not need a credit check to take advantage of this offer. When I attempted to redeem the offer, I was told it no longer was available. I reached out to customer service and the first response I got was a templated response saying the offer was no longer available but I could request an increase that would require me to update all my information AND have a hit on credit. I then replied and indicated that this was deceptive because the letter clearly stated the offer was good until XX/XX/22 and now it was magically not available. The second response I got said the offer was sent to me in error and XXXX, please note that our credit line increase offers, like the one you received, are subject to change as per terms and conditions and this offer is no longer available on your account. As any good consumer would do, I reviewed the terms and conditions on the letter sent to me. The only thing it says is Please note this offer is based on existing information on your account. If the information changes, you may be ineligible for this offer My payment history with Chase is impeccable and my XXXX XXXX according to them is XXXX. XXXX reports my XXXX XXXX as XXXX I am concerned that this offer letter is just a bait and switch to get customers to submit to providing an official credit hit. None of the information provided in their response makes sense. I am a good customer with a great credit history. They sent me an offer letter which at first they said was no longer available and then was sent in error.

Consumer Complaint: My credit union was rejecting my car payments so I went into bill pay and changed the acct number by adding one digit. I waited for the next payment to see if it worked XX/XX/XXXX. It showed it worked. I then realized it made two payments. I called and the first woman said lets fix that and she said she did then transfered me to file a claim. I was disconnected. I called back twice and kept getting disconnected. I called back two days later and the woman now told me it was my fault I had two payments scheduled. I said when I go into bill pay and press that payee it doesnt even have repeat checked so how could I have done two payments? I didnt! I was told by prior person it was fixed and second person wouldnt open a claim for me. Trusting my bank was wrong! For the next two months they paid it twice and this entire time repeat is not checked. I called and asked how I see a history of payments to one payee and the person told me I cant system doesnt do that. I was evicted because i couldnt pay my rent and they did it again and Im so beyond upset! I send messages in and cant get help that way either! Over {$1300.00} was paid and shouldnt have been and there response is oh well its your fault!
