Consumer Complaint: A woman was using my bank account ( both routing and account number ) to pay her XXXX XXXX XXXX bill. Our account numbers are one number off from one another ( This looks to be an honest mistake ). At first, the amounts debited out of my account were small, {$70.00}, and to a lender, XXXX, that I have used so I didn't realize it wasn't my account until two transactions of {$250.00} were taken from my account on XX/XX/XXXX. I looked back through my account and realized the transaction have been coming from my checking account since XX/XX/XXXX and it is now XXXX. In total {$1200.00} was taken from my account. When I contacted Chase to get my money back, they refunded me the first 90 days worth of transactions from the date in which the ACH 's were coming out of my account, totaling {$340.00}. I am still out {$950.00} and Chase told me to contact XXXX XXXX in order to get my money back. I called XXXX and they told me because I am not the account holder, I can't report fraud. I have gone through all the avenues to get my money back and no one can help me. Chase won't do anything further, XXXX won't talk to me. I have filed a police report and a fraud report with Chase but nothing is being done to help me.

Consumer Complaint: Please also refer to attached documents that I have sent over countlessly to all three credit bureaus by verified mail and fax and the below credit card companies by fax. I have documentation of ALL of this, so they can not dispute any of it. In XXXX of XXXX, I went to try to purchase my first car by myself. Upon applying, I was told that I needed a cosigner because my credit score was not high enough. This greatly confused me since I had never missed any payment on anything and have a no debt outside of student loans. Therefore, I began to investigate and saw on my credit report several credit cards under my name, some with no balance and closed and others with balances totaling $ XXXX PLUS {$4000.00} in furniture from XXXX which was never paid by my parents and sent to collections. I called each card company and they told me that XXXX and XXXX XXXX, who are my parents, opened the cards and were making payments, but on the XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX cards they STOPPED MAKING PAYMENTS. These accounts first started to be opened TWO MONTHS AFTER I TURNED XXXX YEARS OLD!!!!!!!! I contacted XXXX XXXX first, since two accounts were under them, and they investigated and found that the accounts were fraud and were opened by my parents. The collections agency also did the same for the XXXX XXXX. However, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and ALL THREE CREDIT BUREAUS are REFUSING to investigate or remove these accounts from my name and credit report after 3+ times submitting disputes, documentation, federal and police reports, etc. WHY CAN XXXX XXXX DO THEIR JOB BUT THE OTHER COMPANIES CAN'T? MY PARENTS WERE MAKING PAYMENTS ON THESE ACCOUNTS PER THE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES SO WHY CAN'T THEY SEE WHAT ACCOUNT WAS BEING USED TO PAY THESE????? ISN'T OBVIOUS THAT MY PARENTS WERE USING THEIR DEBIT ACCOUNT TO PAY OFF THESE CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS?????? Account was closed in XX/XX/XXXX per XXXX by someone, most likely one of my parents, so I called XXXX XXXX XXXX back. XXXX XXXX fraud agent flagged account as fraudulent on XX/XX/XXXX and stated he will let the credit bureaus know of account being fraud ; he also stated that he opened a dispute. " account officially closed XX/XX/XXXX and this was reported to bureaus and should be off credit by early XX/XX/XXXX! ( 45-65 days ) '' - this was stated per XXXX Correspondences was never sent by mail contacted them on XX/XX/XXXX ; XXXX from Texas fraud agent also states that fraud dispute was never sent through and that she would have to open the dispute again today ; claim # XXXX ; asked agent NOT to send correspondence to the XXXX address that is on file per XXXX which is my parents address and information and not mine and she states she is putting this in the notes. Asked to speak to supervisor and XXXX hung up on me. Called back spoke to supervisor who guaranteed me that the information was sent to all three credit bureaus for this information to be removed as XXXX XXXX XXXX determined it was fraud, HOWEVER ALL THREE BUREAUS ARE CLAIMING THAT THEY NEVER RECEIVED THIS CORRESPONDENCE. Fax # : XXXX sent police report, FTC report, IRS report, and affidavit of fraud that was notarized to XXXX XXXX XXXX AND all three credit bureaus on this info on XX/XX/XXXX PLUS disputes for all three fraudulent accounts. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received mail from XXXX stating that they will not remove this information from my credit report and stated that they " verified the accounts belong to me '' but HOW DID THEY VERIFY THIS? BECAUSE THE INFORMATION IS WRONG AND MY PARENTS USED ALL OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OPEN THESE ACCOUNTS!!!!! Company 's Response After our review, our position has not changed. The account is valid. During our review, we found correspondence for the account was sent to an address that verifies to you. We have no record of return mail. We also confirmed a balance transfer processed on account. For these reasons, the account is not fraudulent and you are liable for the balance. Consumer Complaint: There was a lady aged XXXX didnt give me no name however she had a very believable profile picture that sent me a message on XXXX telling me that her husband died 2 years ago and that her last boyfriend blocked her after she sent him money for college and I felt bad so she offered to be XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX supposedly and that as long as I give her attention and always is there for her she will give me {$500.00} allowance each week and she said she would give me {$1000.00} dollar check to start off and she also gave me a story that there was a baby who needed XXXX so she would send me an additional {$2000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX however I did not redeem the {$2000.00} check because I felt sketched out about it so for the {$1000.00} I sent a message to Chase saying to cancel the check because it didnt seem right but the check still went through and after it went through my account got closed and I called the bank but they didnt tell me the reason I sent a message to the person who sent me the fake checks that it was all a scam because I had a negative balance even though I never touched a dime from the check thats went through I have no real reason to ever steal or do any such thing Ive been with chase for awhile already and I never used it for anything malicious I then blocked the person who sent me the check on XXXX but the person texted me on XXXX because I had given her my number when we talked and I have proof that she kept bothering me about the checks and she also tried to call me the days after I got my account closed to send her money back i told my family and they looked up if this had happened to anyone else and it turns out it was a whole scam I fell into Im barely XXXX XXXX XXXX and I got my account closed because I scanned one check from someone I thought was being serious and nice to help me pay for bills. I tried to fix it with chase but they wouldnt give me the reason why it was closed down at the time so I left it at that however I cant just let something I fell a victim to just pass by because this could happen to others as well and they can be unfairly banned even though I understand where chase is coming from however I dont see how its fair after Ive been loyal and done nothing wrong ever this was the first time ever Ive come across a major issue however I am looking to fix this issue.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I attempted to deposit two checks into my business account a check from XXXX XXXX and I deposited them the incorrect way so Chase bank rejected the deposit so I sent the check back to the originator had them put my name on the check and she sent me back another check to deposit as well for services rendered from my company XXXX I have already had previous checks clear from this company when I called to inquire as to why I cant get some of my money, because this is a business and you have to keep running and if youre taking my money and holding it up there, I cant get things done so I spoke with a guy and he told me to give it till XX/XX/XXXX which is when the hold will come off I asked to speak with a supervisor as well to understand why this is the third time they have made my account go negative and they have not released the hold, so I speak with a supervisor and the supervisor asked me well why did the lady send me a check without my name on the check and I said that I except all forms of legal tendered deposits or payment for my services rendered and I did not have an answer for that. I told him to ask her and at that point he told me mm, were not gon na take the hold off. Nor are we going to clear your balance and release the hold on the checks so with that thats straight up discrimination because theyre not doing anybody else like that my account is still right now today- {$9500.00} when they have my money they have the check the money has been released from the other bank and theyre still choosing not to clear my account and give me the money that my client paid me. This is Chase Bank. Once they found out that I was XXXX things went very very sour and with thats when they hung up on me and I have not talk to anyone since I am planning on calling back this morning. That is my complaint

Consumer Complaint: Hello- I was drugged and robbed in XXXX on XXXX. Robbers saw me using my ATM right before I was drugged and took my wallet, phone, XXXX XXXX. Right before it all happened I made a XXXX ATM withdrawal. They saw me doing it and must had memorized my code. They took total of {$1900.00} in several ATM withdrawals. CHASE wont consider my claim and I believe that there should be some protection for these cases as a credit card would. The robbers also made charges to my credit card but those were credited by XXXX right away. I reported the case to CHASE hours from when it all happened. I hope that with this claim I CHASE can consider my dispute and accept police report as confirmation that this happened.
