Consumer Complaint: There was a fraudulent claim that was filed with Chase Bank regarding a Verified Wire Transfer to my account from XXXX XXXX XXXX. The wire I received on XX/XX/2023 was for {$150000.00}. This money was made available to me with no issues whatsoever. Then on Tuesday XX/XX/2023, I went to the bank and requested 2 cashier 's checks and took out money as well successfully with a bank teller with no issues. I then find out that on that same day my account was placed on restriction due to the wire transfer that I received. I find out that XXXX XXXX is now claiming this was a fraudulent wire transfer issue. If that were the case, then why did they file a court record document of our agreement regarding this advance request. This was all done legitimately, and I want my money available to me ASAP. This company is lying and is providing false information to Chase Bank to receive their money back for whatever reason they are claiming and I am extremely upset that Chase Bank does not support their customers. I have attached the documents that are legitimate and the agreement that was agreed upon successfully and have include the court docket as well of this agreement. No fraud was committed as these documents were filed in court successfully. Also this funding instructions provided include an audit report that was completed successfully as well with no fraud or errors acknowledged by the company.

Consumer Complaint: After sending money to an online seller with my debit card ( they used XXXX XXXX to collect my payment ), the seller did not ship the item and took down their website. With no way to contact the seller, I attempted to cancel the transaction with XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX was not responsive in a timely manner. After five days of purchase, I contacted Chase Bank to report the fraudulent transaction. Chase bank did a chargeback while they investigated. More than a month later Chase reversed the chargeback without giving me notice. After calling Chase, I was told that I had an agreement with Affirm to pay the money and since I financed ( used a debit card ) Chase does not protect me. Chase advised that I take the matter up with XXXX even though I received nothing for my payment. Bottom line is that Chase did not protect me from the fraudulent act.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I was instructed by my case manager at My Charge Back to submit a complain here because I was scammed in XXXX and it has been difficult for them to get a solution from the scammer 's banks. I was scammed by a guy called XXXX XXXX. At that time, I didn't know him but he kept talking to me until he got my trust. After 4 months he asked me if I could store his belongings at my place for a period of time until he get out of the military which I accepted. After three days a company, named XXXX XXXX XXXX, contacted me to verify my information and out of a sudden they asked me to send money to pay for the belongings which I declined at first because I only had to receive the items. Then I was threatened several times and they said that if I don't make the payment I will get in trouble with the authorities ( FBI ) because there is " money '' in the box XXXX XXXX sent. I was so confused and I didn't know what to do and because I didn't want to get in trouble with the authorities I ended up paying the money. Since then, they came up with stories which I believed and I paid all the money they asked for until I put a stop on this in XX/XX/XXXX. I reported this to the local police and also I contacted and paid a private company to investigate them. Come to find out they don't exist and they are scammers from XXXX. I believe they work with other XXXX located here in the US because the bank account names are XXXX. The private company contacted My Charge Back and they are assisting me in my case too. My Charge Back contacted a lawyer they work with and the lawyer wrote some letters, in XXXX and XXXX, on my behalf to the banks. I attached those letter, a police report, and the private company 's report about their findings during their investigation. Also, I attached the wire transfers and other documents for more details. Summary of the money sent and to whom : 1. XX/XX/XXXX for {$5700.00} sent to XXXX XXXX 2. XX/XX/XXXX for {$6900.00} sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX 3. XX/XX/XXXX for {$18000.00} sent to XXXX XXXX 4. XX/XX/XXXX for {$12000.00} sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX If you need more information please contact me for further details.

Consumer Complaint: I had an account at Chase Bank that I used to transfer money to buy cryptocurrency it was purely a checking account that generally had {$200.00} to {$500.00} in it give or take. After periodically adding money and withdrawing money to transfer to by cryptocurrency I noticed I was being charged monthly for having less than {$500.00} in my account at the beginning and end of the month. I don't remember exactly how much the charge was but I was not spending money with a debit card or credit card attached this account I was purely transferring money to and from it. When I went to close the account knowing that I had at least {$100.00} in there I was told that I had a negative balance of over {$35.00} but they would be glad to wipe that to a XXXX for me. It makes no sense to me why banks are allowed to charge for simply not having {$500.00} in your account. I'm not talking about having {$500.00} in your account while you're trying to process a transaction or transfer I'm simply talking about not having {$500.00} in your account throughout the month and they charge you for that.

Consumer Complaint: On the XXXX of XX/XX/2023, I signed a contract ( attachment 1 ) with XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX to move my furniture. On the initial phone call they provided a total estimate of {$4800.00} and required that I pay a deposit for the estimate. We paid a deposit of {$1800.00}, specifically for the total price of {$4800.00}. Weeks later, ( after the 3-day period for a full refund ) they had an estimator come to our home to update our furniture estimate. The moving company then called us over the phone to update our moving bill to a total of {$9000.00}. They were asking for an additional {$1900.00} on that phone call with {$2600.00} being paid at pickup and another {$2600.00} at delivery. These numbers were given over the phone which were taken down on a note pad ( attachment 4 ) As this was nearly double the original amount we asked for a full refund which the company denied. They offered a 50 % refund. After demanding a full refund and their refusal, I called the Chase customer service department and told them I believed this to be a bait-and-switch fraud. The contract provided by XXXX in attachment 1 page 7 specifically says the original estimate is binding and that it will not change unless you order additional services, add additional items or additional weight not in the estimate. During the initial phone call we provided the estimator a comprehensive list of all pieces of furniture. There is no reason the estimate should have doubled other than fraud by XXXX as I had already paid a deposit. The Chase customer service rep asked if I wanted to start a chargeback which I agreed to. At this point, I asked Chase customer service if I needed to communicate with the Allegiance moving company any further, and the representative stated that I did not and that Chase would handle the case and let XXXX know I was canceling on my behalf. The moving company continued to call us nonstop about this and we were ignoring the calls as advised. I called Chase once again to clarify If I should answer the phone calls from XXXX. Chase again said that I did not need to respond to them. Finally, the day before our scheduled move, XXXX left a voicemail that they were going to send a truck for pickup, we called back and said we had canceled their services to which the rep from XXXX became very hostile and cursed at us. When I got the first response from Chase, they stated they denied my claim because the Merchant properly disclosed a limited return or cancellation policy at the time of the transaction. XXXX electronically signed the cancellation policy. XXXX is entitled to only 50 % refund. Chase took back the full {$1800.00} amount. I repealed their decision and sent them a letter ( attachment 2 ) better trying to explain my situation. Chase once again denied my chargeback with no money returned ( attachment 3 ). Chase provided poor advisement to me in this case offering a chargeback and then ultimately denying my claim. By the time Chase gave its first decision, we could not get the 50 % refund because they told us we did not need to contact XXXX moving and the original moving date was already passed.
