Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Consumer Complaint: I.C. Systems claimed to have spoken with me in XXXX about a medical debt. No recollection of such call. Company claims they sent a letter to a California address Ive never lived at and dont understand why they would send one to California when I live in New York and have lived in New York for almost 20 years. I.C. Systems placed a collection account on my credit report and claims they followed U.S. law by sending a letter to a unknown address to claim that the consumer was notified.
