Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Consumer Complaint: This at one point was owned by another collection agency ... .i cant remember who at the moment ... .apparently it was sold to I C systems which recently placed this on my credit report ... but guess what they never send me a dunning letter/notice of right to dispute ... .Question if the last collection agency was not able to validate this debt how can I C systems just put this on my report with no 30 day notice? this is a clear violation and if this is not removed immediately i will be sending this to a consumer attorney and sending a complaint to the state attorney general

Consumer Complaint: Hi, how can you be late and past due on collection accounts? Why are you failing to provide me detail request to validate this account? I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report this week and I found multiple inaccuracies on my credit report from the 3 major credit bureaus from a collection company that I never have dealt with before. I've attempted several times to ratify the issue with the original creditors and credit bureaus and they still reporting inaccurate, unverifiable information. I have disputed this item with the credit reporting agency and they reported you confirmed the account as valid. I honestly do not believe to ever have any relationship with this collection agency or original creditor. Also there are several inaccuracies with this account the way it's reporting and that's a total violation of FCRA and FDCPA laws and regulations. In a good faith effort to resolve the matter amicably, I must demand proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature, as well as proof of your authority in this matter. Absent such proof, you must correct any erroneous reports of this past debt as mine. I am writing to request that you please provide the following information : 1. Please evidence your authorization under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) and 15 USC 1692 ( f ) in this alleged matter. 2. What is your authorization of law for your collection of information? 3. What is your authorization of law for your collection of this alleged debt? 4. Please evidence your authorization to do business or operate in this state. 5. Please evidence proof of the alleged debt, including the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature. 6. Please provide a complete account history, including any charges added for collection activity. You have 30 days upon receipt of this letter to provide strict proof of contract. In the event you can not provide strict proof of contract, you must cease and desist any and all collection efforts and immediately remove any derogatory information reported to the consumer reporting agencies. In addition, you will need to provide me your agreement, in writing, that you are closing your file, ceasing collecting activity, and deleting all information related to this reference number from any and all credit reports youve furnished the information to. In the event you transfer this account to an attorney without providing proof of contract, and proving your claim, he/she will be immediate reported to the XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX for code of ethics violations.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020, I mailed a letter to this company, asking for full validation of the debt the are trying to collect from me and reporting on my credit report. Since I have no contract with this company, Im entitled to know the specifics of this debt. I sent this letter certified / return receipt, so I know they received it on XX/XX/2020. I advised them of their requirement by law to provide this information to me per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 ( b ) I asked for the following items. It is imperative that collection companies be required to follow the law, as anyone could send me letters and say I owe them, without any proof. To date, this collection company has not responded, by providing the required proof. Agreement with your client that grants you the authority to collect on this alleged debt. Agreement that bears the signature of the alleged debtor wherein he/she agreed to pay the creditor. Any insurance claims been made by any creditor regarding this account. Any Judgments obtained by any creditor regarding this account. Name and address of alleged creditor. Name on file of alleged debtor. Alleged account number. Address on file for alleged debtor. Amount of alleged debt. Date this alleged debt became payable. Date of original charge off or delinquency. Verification that this debt was assigned or sold to collector. Complete accounting of alleged debt. Commission for debt collector if collection efforts are successful.

Consumer Complaint: I.C. System Inc. is INACCURATELY reporting a debt for an account that has been previously SETTLED AND PAID IN FULL with the original creditor. The original Creditor was XXXX - XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2020 I sent a debt validation request to IC System Inc. regarding an alleged debt of {$75.00}. On XX/XX/2020 I received a letter from their office with information from the original creditor. Immediately I contacted XXXX XXXX directly and sent payment for {$75.00} via USPS money order dated XX/XX/2020 to XXXX ( original creditor ) : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX. On XX/XX/2020 IC System Inc. FALSELY reported to the credit reporting agencies a debt for {$75.00}. They are in serious violation of the FDCPA Section 808 as they DID NOT provide a statement on their written notice which I received on XX/XX/2020 giving me the consumer 30 days to act on the alleged debt. It should be noted that 30 days of RECEIPT of their notice had not yet been met as of XX/XX/2020 the day they FALSELY reported this account to the CRA 's. They also are in violation of the FCRA as they reported the amount owed for this debt was {$75.00} which is INACCURATE. In addition they are attempting a debt during the pandemic which is a violation of the CARES Act specific to New York State.

Consumer Complaint: I sent I C Systems a debt validation letter on XX/XX/XXXX requesting that they send validation to me, they received the letter in XX/XX/2020 and to date did not respond. this collection account was on my credit report under a different collection agency before who I disputed and was able to get it removed from my credit reports, that previous collection agency had my current address because I was communicating with them and got the account removed, in XXXX I see I C Systems reporting the SAME DEBT TO MY CREDIT REPORT. I did not get a notice of the debt in the mail and i know they have my current address because they bought the debt from the previous collection agency and that agency would have given them all information they had to verify me AND the debt and for them to communicate with me, but I C Systems failed to do that. I sent them a debt validation letter, remind you I had to get their address from the listing on my credit reports NOT from them which is a shame, its been a month since they received my letter and to date I still have no response, no validation absolutely NOTHING! I cant even go on their website to see the account information because I dont have the full account number which I would have to get from them, I shouldnt have to call them, they are a debt collector they arent on my side and will try to tie me to a debt they dont even know I owe and neither do I. I want this account removed from both my XXXX and XXXX credit reports immediately
