Consumer Complaint: Americredit, also known as GM Financial, denied me credit. That 's fine ; I got credit elsewhere. But they wo n't tell me why. XXXX I have gotten a pathetic non-responsive response : " Outside of credit program parameters. Credit not granted under the specific terms and conditions and/or conditions originally requested. " As far as I can tell, this denial is totally non-responsive, and does not meet the CPFB requirements.

Consumer Complaint: I have a auto loan with Gm Financial. The repo 'd my car and left a balance of. This attorney XXXX & XXXX sued me and garnished my wages. I been paying on it for 3 years and I showed it was paid XXXX 2015. I have called them 3 times along with GM Financial And sent them certifified letters to get this resolved. Still nothing from either of them. Under the fair credit act I have a right to this information. They still are garnishing my wages but I have no idea why and why I can not see my payment history to vertiify my payment history.

Consumer Complaint: I was contacted by a company multiple times within a XXXX minute period. Including XXXX phone calls at my place of work. They called my cell phone at XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX. In between those calls they called my place of work XXXX XXXX and XXXX. I have nothing to do with the loan they are inquiring about, there is no way they would have had my phone number information. They did some type of research to find this information and would not stop bothering me. I do not think it is okay for a company to call that much and especially my place of work. That puts a bad image out for me when this issue has nothing to do with me. The company is full of liars. They said that my father and I were both put down as a reference which I know is not true. We have nothing to do with the loan holder and the loan they said was 4 years old and 4 years ago I had a different number and worked for a different company. And my father has had nothing to do with them in many many years. This is not acceptable at all and I hope that someone can do something about this because if they 're harassing me like this I 'm sure it 's happening to others.

Consumer Complaint: My vehicle was repossessed on XXXX XXXX, 2015. I do n't think it 's fair that the lender can repossess my vehicle as collateral and still earn money as a result of a deficiency. The only compensation should be the collateral and not both the collateral and deficiency. I have also left messages for the company that repossessed my vehicle to allow me to come and get my personal property and they have not returned any of my telephone calls. Consumers should not be treated in such a disrespectful manner.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I purchased a car from XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Arizona. The car was financed through Americredit Financial. I fell behind on the payments when my mother became stricken with XXXX and it was subsequently repossessed by Americredit in XXXX XXXX. The repossession was unlawful due to threats of violence and abuse to myself and my family by the repossession agent, which constitutes a breach of peace. At some point, GM Financial purchased Americredit and began reporting the original loan and deficiency balance on my credit report. For the great part of the last year, I have contacted both GM Financial and the credit bureaus to have the incorrect reporting of the account corrected. GM Financial continually refuses to correct the reporting despite my multiple requests directly to them and my multiple disputes with the credit bureaus. GM Financial continously verifies the information as accurate to the credit bureaus even though it is clearly not accurate. Currently, the account is not reporting the correct loan term and the monthly reporting is inconsistent between the XXXX and XXXX reports. The account was subsequently deleted by GM Financial from my XXXX report last year. How is it possible that GM Financial can continually verify an account as accurate to the credit bureau when the account is reporting differently on each report? I am providing the following as proof to support my claims : 1 ) original contract with Americredit reflecting the terms of the account to be 60 months. It is currently being reported as 65 months by GM Financial, thus aging the account further. 2 ) Screen shots of the account as they currently display on my credit report showing different payment histories and status. 3 ) Email correspondence between myself and XXXX XXXX from GM Financial showing I provided her with documentation showing the account was not reporting properly then and her refusal to address the issue. 4 ) Email correspondence from myself to XXXX XXXX, CEO of GM Financial to bring attention to the continuous reporting errors and the wrongful repossession. 5 ) Mail correspondence from XXXX XXXX from GM Financial, again asserting that GM Financial is properly reporting the account.
