Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I am writing to convey my deep annoyance and dissatisfaction with how your bureau has managed my identity theft disputes. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this issue, I have encountered a frustrating lack of responsiveness and action from your side. I was the victim & Im not sure why the CRA is not complying with the law. The other bureaus have followed suit. Im very confused why this one seems to ignore my requests As a victim of identity theft, I have faced numerous challenges, both financial and emotional, due to unauthorized accounts and transactions appearing on my credit report. I reported these fraudulent activities to your bureau and submitted all the necessary documents and detailed explanations, to substantiate my claims and establish my innocence. However, it has been an exceptionally long period since I initially raised these disputes, and I have yet to receive a satisfactory response or resolution. This delay has not only caused me considerable stress but has also resulted in tangible negative consequences for my financial well-being. I have encountered denied credit applications, higher interest rates, and relentless harassment from debt collectors, all stemming from inaccuracies on my credit report. What adds to my frustration and disappointment is the bureau 's apparent failure to recognize the seriousness of my situation. Despite providing substantial evidence of identity theft, it seems that my case has been either overlooked or deemed unimportant. This has left me feeling disregarded and powerless in a matter that has profoundly impacted my life. XXXX XXXX XXXX have already removed this account from their records. There was an error present & they were able to find it. I'm confused about how you've verified it while the other bureaus have removed it. Please delete this from my file. It is inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete, or unverifiable. I implore your bureau to take immediate and comprehensive action concerning my identity theft disputes. I insist that you prioritize my case, conduct a thorough investigation, and expeditiously remove the fraudulent accounts and transactions from my credit report. I also request a clearly defined timeline for resolution and regular updates on the progress of my dispute. As a consumer, I believe it is my right to have my concerns addressed promptly and diligently. Should your bureau fail to provide a satisfactory response within a reasonable timeframe, I am fully prepared to seek legal counsel and escalate this matter to the appropriate regulatory authorities to ensure that justice is served.

Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Consumer Complaint: During the time of my freeze and beyond, i was under a credit lock under all three consumer reporting agencies during which in order to authorize a credit check my permission was required to check my credit with written or verbal consent prior to an authorization. However, i discovered that despite having had an active alert on, XXXX XXXX for fraud, there are inquiries that I do not recognize on my credit report. I did not give any of these following agencies and parties the authorization to make an inquiry on my credit. Especially with an active note of fraud alert that was on my account prior to the inquiries that were made against my credit report. All of the credit bureaus did not honor this request and none of the parties on my credit report consulted me about my credit being checked before running my credit whatsoever. Additionally I did not authorize any checks in relation to the parties involved with my consumer reports. Notably, XXXX XXXX XXXX checked my credit on a date that i did not recall and i spoke to them on XX/XX/2023 at XXXX XXXX XXXX to confirm the inquiry made. They denied any participation in an unauthorized check on my credit. Under such provisions, my rights were violated. On Grounds : [ 15 USC 1681a ss 603 ( m ) ( 1-3 ) ; use of information was abused during the period which the fraud alert was active and the disposition of the circumstances within my rights were breeched by all the parties involved since there was no notable communication on my behalf ( reserved ), FCRA/FCR Title 12 X 1016.13 ; Contrary to rule, sustains the provision where information was misused and justifies prior law under my rights as a consumer, there was again, misuse and failure to provide supplemental notice and information to me and upholding my rights as the consumer, FCRA/FCR Title 12 X 1016.15 ; Relative to other violations in terms of practices ( Reserved ), 15 USC 1681 ss 602 ( a ) ( 1-4 ) & 15 USC 1681 ss 602 ( b ) ; ( As Defined ) Moreover, the entities, parties, affiliates, and agencies failed to adhere to policies and laws as outlined in this statute with careful consideration for myself and what has happened with the misuse of my consumer reports recording and authorizing information to be pulled without subsequent notice, especially when my consumer reports have a notable fraud alert notice and in requirements states that all authorization needed to run my consumer reports requires authorization from me, the consumer in advance whether it be verbally or written. 15 USC 1681b ss 604 ( b ) ( 1-2 ) & 15 USC 1681b ss 604 ( c ) ( 1-3 ) ; ( Sustained ) There was no disclosure of the usage of information from any and all parties involved with the initial inquiry made on my consumer reports at any point during the time and peaks that credit checks were authorized without my consent. Notably, this is also in justification and in protection of other laws as mentioned in my explanation and where violations have been made thus far. 15 USC 1681q ss 619 ; ( Reserved ) Under the relations and laws as mentioned, it is showcases and implies that my information was obtained and used under false pretenses which violates my rights as a consumer notably and support my stake in my complaint. 15 USC 1681o ss 617 ; ( Reserved ) Supports and justifies position with ss 619, ]
