I'm sure this should be on another XXXX XXXX XXXX account but this debt is haunting my credit file and causing me not to be able to get an apt now that I am out of college. I never had an XXXX account or any other phone or XXXX XXXX account. My parents still pay my phone bill on the family account for the last 10 years and it is not XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: The company XXXX XXXX XXXX is reporting a debt to a collection company that reached me to collect the debt. This is the second collection agency collecting {$1500.00}. The first one I disputed, and it was removed, but apparently XXXX XXXX XXXX has not cleared that out of the record. I submitted the Fraud information to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Incident # XXXX ) The thief used my information to open the account # XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The phone assigned to this person was XXXX. In the claim I proved my residency and all the required documents proving it was not me, but it looks like it did not clear the records. Could you please help me remove this from my records?

Consumer Complaint: I have a duplicate collection on my report from the same company for a device that was returned to them. I was never notified that they didn't receive it or that i owed anything. They just put 2 collections on my report from the same thing. I tried disputing that i mailed it but their systems are so bad that they never showed they recieved it so i just paid the collection to get it off my report. However, it is still on my report and it is not even showing paid. This has got to be illegal. Please help me to get this removed. Thanks

However its been more than 30 days and the credit bureaus failed to send my investigation back.This is not making any sense. According to the law 15 U.S. Code 1681i- Procedure in the case of disputed accuracy.If the completeness or accurancy of any items of information contained in a consumer 's file at a consumers reporting agancy directly, or indirectly though a reseller, of such dispute, the agency shall, free of charges, conduct a resonable reinvestigation to determine wheter the disputed information is inaccurate and recored the current status of the dispute information, or delete item from file in accordance with paragrah ( 5 ) before the end of the 30 day period beginning on the date which the agancy recived the notice od the dispute from the consumer or reseller.
