Consumer Complaint: This is the third time I am coming here to file a complaint but I have taken it a step further and filed a fraud complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and if this issue is not resolved, will be filing a lawsuit in my local court against Equifax. I have tried to access my Equifax credit report today XXXX XXXX on the free annual credit report website. I was able to access all my reports except Equifax. There was an error XXXX. I tried the Equifax website as well and received the same error XXXX. This company is definitely withholding my credit report and I believe fraud is in play. Why else would I have so much trouble with one credit bureau. Listed below are other complaints that I have filed against this company in the past. It is just a shame that I have to waste precious time and being denied my OWN CREDIT FILE. Something has got to be done about this. Previous complaint information : Equifax has not provided an update to my credit score since XXXX of XXXX. When I attempt to access my credit file via their own website, there is an error code of XXXX and my credit file is saying XXXX. I have called the customer service number XXXX over twenty times between XXXX XXXX. The answer I receive is the code XXXX means that some information was incorrect and that the back office would have to resolve this issue. I have faxed over countless copies of my drivers license, passport and social security card verifiying my identity but undoubtly, the information is not being received. I reached out to the company on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX speaking to different representatives with no resolution. I reached out to the company again on XX/XX/XXXX after attempting to access my credit report via the XXXX website and after receiving the same error code. The representative ( XXXX ) verified that it was an error on my credit file which had been there since XX/XX/XXXX and he would have to send a ticket to the back office to resolve. I asked him how long this would take and he said not long usually 5 days and that no further action on my end needs to be taken. I reached out on today XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to XXXX. Explaining to him what I have addressed before, the error code XXXX and me not being able to access my credit from their website and that my credit file is still saying XXXX, as if I have no credit file. Today is the day and now it is time to file this complaint.
